Great lil Italian place to have lunch! I choose a Caesar salad topped with blackened shrimp and it was very tasty. The seasoning wasn't over bearing at all and the salad had the perfect amount of dressing. The service was great as well. I was brought a basket of bread with my drink and, even though I'm trying to trim down the carbs, I'm so glad I had a bite! The were so fresh and soft and yummy!! Augh! Quick first visit review: Good service, good outdoor patio. We had the veal parm and the veal itself was quite good. We also had the eggplant rolotini which was better than we have had in Central Florida. The only issue is that their red sauce is really boring. Very, very smooth and a bit sweet. Took a takeaway Tuscany (zucchini, broccoli, spinach, cooked green peppers & cheese). Gosh - it's a massive size, which sorta makes sense at $20! Must say staff were really nice and one of the servers stopped to check that I was being taken care of. However food-wise I wasn't that impressed. The dough turned out to be a little bit undercooked which meant when I got home I had to heat up the oven and cook the pizza. Also the cheese used wasn't all that great - tasted a little bit plasticky so not my favorite. The vegetables were roasted in some sort of oil and they clashed horridly with the cheese. There was also some sort of dried herb used that we kept encountering that was unchewable. Overall each bite just didn't taste that great. Not sure if I would return. Have never been to this location before but upon entering I thought the place was great, the decor was on point and I loved the plethora of televisions that were on ESPN which I approve lol! Was going to order pasta but I saw they had New York style pizza and their oven that is visible in the dinning area. Therefore pizza it was! Im gonna have to go ahead and say its the best place to get pizza in APK with Anthonys being a close second. First time and last. My wife got lasagna and it was like ravioli from Chef Boyardee. Absolutely bad. I had veal picatta and it was no good. It was edible but barely. The picatta sauce was too watery and lacked the flavor. The veal was okay. I had a gift certificate and I see why. Just not good. Maybe they have great pizza but if they use the same sauce on pizza as the lasagna then it can't be good. The bread was the highlight. The soup also lacked flavor. Tonight we ordered take out pizza...Extra large White pizza . Ricotta, Mozzarella, fresh garlic and olive oil. We requested extra Ricotta. Have to say was very dissatisfied. There were no globs of cheese as in other restaurants. Did not see any extra Ricotta.. You could taste the fresh garlic and olive oil but that was about it.... Great place to have an italian bite with a nice glass of wine. The plates of food are fairly large. We ordered the penne with a vodka sauce and ad plenty of leftovers at about $14 per plate. We also ordered the chicken marsala which was pretty bland at about $20 a plate. The restaurant has an awesome garlic white pizza bread for an appetizer and a large list of wines to choose from. Sit outside when the weatgee is nice. Plenty of seating inside though. The owner often visits the tables to ensure everyone is enjoying the food and ambiance. I feel like Caffe Positano has been open forever, and I have been eating here forever. This is the go-to place for my family when we order take-out pizza. Their garlic knots are delicious, and so is their penne a la vodka. I really recommend the Sicilian pizza pie/slice. The dough/crust is fluffy but has a good crunch where you want it. You also can't go wrong with a regular pizza. The portion sizes for the meals are pretty generous. The restaurant is split into two sections. One section is more of a pizza parlor feel, and the other section is your run-of-the-mill Italian sit-down restaurant. I've been to both sections multiple times. I believe you can't order pizza slices on the sit-down side, but that may have changed. I always end up eating here or order a pizza whenever I'm in the area. read more

Had a large event planed for almost 8 weeks that was near disaster. Leadership team poorly communicated MENU. Got to the restaurant and it was a circus. My wife and I were moving tables, helping get the family style buffet area ready and trying to welcome forty guest. The owner/manager was scrambling to put something together for our 40 guest. Our guest hopefully didn't notice the calamity, but as the one that spent time organizing and communicating with the Cafe Positano team it is very frustrating. Owner/manager never apologized, made excuses on why our event was neglected. He was only concerned that we did leave upset, yes sir the guy footing the bill is upset. You don't get second chances on big group events. Get your Leadership House in order. If you want a good meal for two to four people yes go. DO NOT trust them with BIG events, they are lacking the ability to pull off big things. Hats off to the server team you did an amazing job making a really poorly patch work event work. I called to make a reservation and was put on hold by a lady for 5 minutes. A man picked up the phone and took my reservation for 2 people. About 10 minutes later I called back, was on hold again by the lady for another 5 minutes and a man picked up and I told him my reservation was now 5 people. When I get to the restaurant the hostess said they didn't have my reservation for 5 and that because they are so busy reservations normally are not taken. I normally at this point get a bit upset since my reservation was taken over the phone, however the hostess was very pleasant and told us that she will take care of it. A manager or owner (not sure which one) apologized for the inconvenience and sat us right away. I have never had any issues here other than that stated above. My wife and I made reservations for Valentine's Day for 5:30. Arrival was 3 minutes of reservation. We gave our name to be told we didn't have reservations. Believe it or not second we been there and told we didn't have reservations. When said we called at 11:05 to make reservations. Hostess answer was you don't have one here. Asked to speak mgr and all of a sudden I was told they have a table for us. Was seated and then waited 10 minutes before waitress to acknowledge us. Her mannerisms was definitely not friendly. We order drink and appetizers to start. My wife received her appetizer and completely finish hers and then my appetizer came out. Within 2 minutes our dinners came, so here I am eating my appetizer and dinner at the same time. Ask for a napkin and stilling waiting for one. Had to take one off the table next to us. Then we asked for more bread and was told 2 minutes and 15 minutes later received bread. No manager ever came that requested to speak to. Overall mighty disappointed in their customer service. We were going there to celebrate Valentine's Day and also go to speak catering mgr for a group of 54 people party. Not happening now. . Can't serve two people then like hell they can entertain 54 people. People who want a happy experience, forget here. read more
