    Food truck

We went to Tasty Trivia (80s Music Trivia!) at Toll Road Brewing Company in Ocoee. Since Toll Road doesn't serve any food (only excellent beer with a wide variety of flavors and tastes!), there's normally a food truck parked out front (at least on trivia nights). QZO was there the night we went, and I was excited at the possibilities. We ordered our food at the truck and then claimed a seat outside. When it was ready, they actually brought it out to us, which the last food truck did not. One friend ordered the Meatball Smash Sandwich (kinda like a meatball sub, but smooshed) and said it was amazing. A friend ordered a Classic Margherita pizza. It was very big and looked so good. I ordered a calzone, though, and picked my own toppings. It was so delicious and so freakin' cheesy. I loved it, but I think I would get a pizza next time ONLY because the calzone is so messy. QZO also has a "Sleeve of Balls" as an appetizer (3 meatballs in sauce), and we couldn't not make jokes about it all throughout the night. It would have made for a great trivia team name. I'm sure the Sleeve of Balls is amazing, though, because the Meatball Smash Sandwich was. I'm hoping QZO is there on another trivia night we attend. I'd sure love to sink my teeth into one of their pizzas....and perhaps a sleeve of balls. ;-)

We saw that QZO was back at Tollroad Brewing and decided it was the perfect place to get some dinner. We made sure to show up early and glad we did!! We opted for the mother of shepard's which had a nice heart to it with sausage and onions. We also opted for the meatball smash again. All was delicious and perfectly cooked!

This food truck came to our community and we gave them a try. Wanted to order the pesto pizza but they ran out of pesto. We got the calzone with ham & mushrooms and an order of garlic knots. It took about 20 minutes for the order, but it was well worth it. Both were very good, the garlic knots were huge. The prices were reasonable and the people were friendly. Highly recommend!

Make sure you try this place! Super friendly and helpful staff. Delicious pizza and calzone! Worth the drive with lots of options to customize your pizza. Here's to hoping they will be in some apopka locations too!

Best pizza is town! Definitely stop in and check this food truck out. We had the Sleeve of Meatballs, Bubba pizza, and meatball sub. You can taste the fresh ingredients. We didn't even wait to get home to try everything. Try the drizzle for an extra kick of flavor. The truck is extremely clean. Owner and his family very friendly. We will be back. My new favorite spot for lunch.

Awesome pizza. Crispiest pizza I have found in Orlando. The tomato pie is amazing. The margarita was also good.

One thing that immediately stood out was how spotless the restaurant was. When I went to the restroom, it was incredibly clean and even smelled fresh. A clean restroom is always a big plus for me. We ordered our pizzas and drinks while we waited. They offer pizzas from 10-inch personal sizes up to 16-inch pizzas that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Oh my goodness--the pizza was amazing! I ordered the 3 Meat pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. It had been a long time since I'd had such a great New York-style pizza. The crust wasn't too thin or too thick--it had the perfect texture with a nice chew. Every bite was satisfying, and we both finished our pizzas without leaving a slice behind! The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We'll definitely be coming back again!

Yes, based on the most basic premise, pizza's are not necessarily that hard. But, Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars and countless smaller shops have managed to absolutely trash that basic premise of what makes a pizza such a simply satisfying meal. The proprietor doesn't want a good pizza. He wants everyone to experience a great pizza. There is so much pride in how every single component is exceptional in quality. It shows and tastes exceptional. We tried a the Nonna NY style pie and a the house pepperoni special Detroit style. My gosh. Words won't describe how perfect a bite these actually were! Now add the fact that everyone seems proud of what they are doing and the owners believes in absolute satisfaction, this is the kind of regular stop I'd consider a great night with family. Good energy in a non-descript location makes it that much more special! One little tip. Try the key lime pie or you're simply missing out!

Their menu is pretty large and they cook their items in the coal fire pizza oven. I like that since it gives it that crispy crunchy pizza. Their location is inside Plant Street which has a ton of food places. The best thing about Plant Street is that everyone can get what they want. There are tables throughout Plant Street and Michael's Ali Coal Fire has a few bar seats at their location as well. They specialize in pizza but do have additional options such as stromboli's, wings, and sandwiches. There are some specialty pizzas on their menu but you can also create your own, which is what we did. Next time we will probably go with a specialty pizza just to try it out, but we went with pepperoni and bacon. It was also topped with a little basil. The bacon was pretty much nonexistent but it did have a slight saltiness to it, so I'm sure it was there. My wife loves bacon on her pizza so she definitely wished there was more of it. Overall it was a great pizza. We actually ordered it to take home since we had already had some food at Plant Street. However, it was good and hot and fresh, we ate the entire thing. The pizza is not overall large, I think about 6-7 slices. We shared since we were trying a lot of things. The crust was also really crispy, and not overly charred as sometimes coal fire pizzas can get. Another item we wanted to try but were too full, was the Cheesy Bread which has Roasted Garlic Oil fired with Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Provolone & Gorgonzola. We saw someone else get it and it really looked delicious, very cheesy and really good. The team who works here is also really nice. They were friendly, let us take our time, offered to answer any questions and were just nice. They had a little game going and would ask a question as you paid. They were keeping track of answers. Overall, this is a great spot. I would come back anytime we felt like a pizza. Very great food! ACES!

They actually have a really large menu for a small spot. They are closer to Crooked Can. There are some seats at their spot (similar to bar seats), but most people get their food to go and eat around Plant Street. Plant Street is a market that has tons of permanent vendors, most of which are food. This spot is truly Italian specializing in pizza but there are other options as well. Some of those options include stromboli's, wings, and sandwiches. They have a few different specialty pizza selections but then you can also create your own. We like to create our own but all their specialty pizzas sounded absolutely delicious. Next time, I think we will pick one of the specialty ones. We went with just pepperoni and bacon. The bacon was hardly present but did give a nice saltiness to the pizza. The pizza was on the thinner side which I love, it was crispy on the edges and just a really great pizza. We actually ordered it with the intention of taking it home for the next day, but it was so good, we ended up eating it all that night. Something we wanted but we were so full from other food options at Plant Street was the CHEESY BREAD which has Roasted Garlic Oil fired with Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Provolone & Gorgonzola. This is something we will for sure be getting next time. It sounded so great! For pizza we will be getting the BUFFALO CHICKEN which is Hot Wing Sauce Base, Roasted Chicken, Gorgonzola, Provolone, Mozzarella...Finished with Celery. Their options are just really great. The servers were super friendly as well. They will take your phone number and text you when its ready. This way you can go walk around, grab a table, grab a beer from Crooked Can and wait for your food. This is definitely a spot you need to try out when you are at Plant Street! Great food, great employees and a fun atmosphere.

I walked in and there was water all over the floor by the window (i couldn't tell if the ceiling was leaking or someone spilled) and the trash overflowing. That was my first impression. I got over that pretty quickly and walked up to the counter to start my order. The girl standing there was rude and quick to rush us along. I had forgotten the process, but received no assistance or reminder. I ended up getting a majority veggie pizza & my husband majority meat. I was aggravated by being put off by the employee that after ordering I went to car and waited for my husband to pay & retrieve our pies. While my experience in the restaurant was not great, the pizza itself did not disappoint. It was flavorful and the crust was crispy. The individual pie was enough to feed me and to give my husband a slice, too. Overall, my experience here was eh. And while i will return, i hope for a cleaner environment and a little more respect from their employees.
