The slices were thin and crispy - like we like them in NYC - though the dough may be a little under proofed (watching too much Great British Bake Off? Probably) it was still really nice. And for two slices and a soda for $8, sign me up. Worth a visit when you've got a trip to Aldi planned or picking up something from the cleaners. It look like a store front hole in the wall, but when you walk in, you're welcomed with a smile and greeting. Dawn was friendly and helpful, told us about additional specials, and served us when the order was ready. The pizza was New York style. No thrills but good. This was such a nice, casual place to grab lunch. The staff is very warm and welcoming. The food is very good. You can order pizza by the slice, so I opted for a cheese slice. And I got an order of 5 hot honey garlic wings. The wings were amazing! They were crispy and packed a good punch of garlic and spice. Let's just go ahead and say it, one of the best pizza joints in Orlando. I've lived in this city since 2004 and to say it's "pizza challenged" is an understatement. There's MAYBE a handful of places making decent pizza in the traditional New England style. Well, Jerry's is one of places. It's in my top 3 easily for the Central Florida area. Inside, it's not fancy at all. This place is pure pizza. It's there only to dish out the goods, and as such, most people just do take out. Last night, I ordered a large cheese pizza, extra crispy. And it was awesome. I could've eaten the whole thing. Also, we ordered a stromboli with ham, sausage, salami and green peppers. It got completely devoured. Something is not right when it takes 30 minutes to get a meal that takes 5 minutes to eat! I was mistaken when I said in my check in message that I was grabbing a quick bite after the gym! I will tell you that I find the pizza amazing...crisp crust with fresh toppings plus condiments of crushed red pepper, oregano, Parmesan cheese, and garlic. It's not much to look at on the outside, just part of a big strip mall. The inside is just as bland. But where here for what counts the food. It was around 4pm and I ordered their Mini size pizza. It was a 10" white pie (Bianca) this was at a low cost of $8, I also add some bacon adding .75 cents. The pizza is self was great tasting. The breading was in someways perfect depending on how yoU like your pizza, this one was kind of thin but perfectly raised. The crust was crunchy with a soft warm inside.
