    Kids French toast
    Shazia W.

The cutest little breakfast spot ! My son wanted French toast and I loved that they had a kids menu. It consisted of two pieces of French toast on delicious bread with the option of bacon or sausage . Perfect for him! We got the order to go but next time I def will be eating there. Staff was super nice. I love discovering a new spot!

First-time visitor. My in-laws invited us here for brunch and we had a very nice time. The coffee selection is excellent. They have three different brews going, which I thought was fun. A regular roast, Louisiana roast w/chicory, and a flavored brew. I had a cup of each. Fun! The ambience was a little loud and echoey, but it was due to lots of folks having a good time. The staff were cheerful and seemed to know a lot of the customers personally. The food was tasty and very well done. The pancakes are huge - as big as the plate. Everything was very nice. The menu is large and has some unique items you don't see everywhere. Definitely will come back again to try some other things! Only one issue with an otherwise great experience. They are set up so that you order and pay at the counter. You get a number and they bring your food to the table when it is ready. The only problem with this is the HUGE menu. There is no way to read over it and decide without holding up the line. This caused a little stress with the in-laws because they felt rushed. Recommend you peruse the menu online and decide what you want before you go. I suppose you could grab a menu and a table, decide what you want, and then go get in line. Not a deal-breaker - I will be back - but something I wish I had known ahead of time.

Customer service was amazing!!!! I ordered over the phone and sounded like I was talking to a friend. I decided to add a pancake to my order, when I got there and everyone was so nice. Great food and amazing service. Nice, cozy building with a great ambiance. Nice seating space.

This is a picture of the owner which greeted everyone in the restaurant to make sure all your needs were taken care of.

This place makes the best coffee ever and everyone's so friendly. If you're looking for a place that has an old-fashioned atmosphere, this is it. I love all the wooden tables and artwork that reflects New Orleans. The menu has something for everyone, and the service is excellent. This is a picture of the owner and he's going around to each table asking if everything is okay and if he can help you with anything you don't get that kind of service in the regular coffee shops. Thank you guys for excellent service and your dedication to you're well done job!

I love this cute little cafe. This space has been a few things, one was a small meat market. I really like what the new owners have done with the space. We came here one morning for breakfast on a weekday so there were plenty of older retired people there. I loved how the feel of this place was a mom and pops style. It seemed like most of the customers were regulars who knew the workers. The staff was super friendly especially one particular man behind the counter. He even smiled and posed for my camera. They all made us feel like family. They have extensive coffee menu and lots of breakfast and lunch type items to choose from. They're pancakes were super fluffy . the bacon was really good, and the creme brule coffee was top notch. I also had a frozen coffee which I would go back for 100 times. The nice man added chocolate syrup to it and it was amazing!

Very nice staff and the food was great. I'm a picky eater and I loved everything I ordered. I also really love what the place is doing by hiring workers with special needs I had grits, eggs, bacon, sausage and a waffle. I have no complaints! I also tried the white chocolate almond coffee, amazinggggg

Top French Toast Bottom Omelette and hash brown potatoes

Enjoyed breakfast with my sister recently the atmosphere was nice and the employees were friendly i wanted to meet the owner since I saw a review of how "nice" he was and he is that nice! will be back!

Cajun Crawfish Omelette with hashbrowns and cheese and a grilled biscuit

My first time here! So good staff is super friendly and pretty quick considering the building was pretty much full. It was a perfect after workout breakfast. The grits are amazing, get your biscuit "grilled" and do yourself a favor and try the pancakes! There's a light crust that gives it like a crunch but the inside is just a nice soft, moist(sorry) pancake! It was delicious and I'm not even a big fan of pancakes! Trying to convince my girlfriend to go back tomorrow morning I'll keep you guys posted! haha

I recently discovered their boozy coffees and that they sell Vietnamese coffee - eff the world condensed milk glory! So, freaking good. During the holidays, they sell egg nog lattes which are creamy and so delicious. But if you want the boozy one, go with the District Lebowski. Jaw drop, so good! I still think the donuts themselves need more work - I wish they would taste sugary like the ones in Lafayette called Meches. The toppings are exquisite and those hot honey fried chicken sliders are the best! The staff are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I kind of wish those boozy coffees were at the other locations, but other than that, keep doing what you are doing!

District meets the suburbs…read more I've been to the locations on Magazine and Harrison several times but 1st time I have been to this one. This one feels like a chain restaurant (which it now is) and has no real personality being pinned in between a bike shop and a Jersey Mike's inside of strip mall. The kolaches at District are really good. They have a variety of flavors, I usually get a smoked sausage, cheese and jalapeno which is tasty but this time I got a brisket boudin and cream cheese kolache in a collaboration with Gonzo's. This was phenomenal. I also got a regular glazed donut. This was not that good. It's too dense and too thick. I like my glazed donuts to be light and airy; I want it to almost melt in my mouth. All of District's donuts are thick. Most of them are good especially the banana pudding donut. The issue is these aren't really donuts more like cakes or just a dessert. If you are coming to get your order to go this place is fine but if you want to hang out, I prefer the other locations.

Coffees were good, albeit a bit pricy: $6.25 for a large cappuccino - strong and definitely Italian coffee - and $7.75 for a med vanilla carmel whip frappe, which was like a dessert. Husband ordered Big Classic Breakfast with sausage patties, sunny side up. He enjoyed it, and I loved the pancakes. Unfortunately, I didn't love my breakfast. $6.95 Divine Biscuit Angel, not served in drive thru or take out. Must be something special; OK, I'll try it. Can I have the egg over hard? When they brought it to me, I thought they had my order wrong. It looked NOTHING like the picture. Upon closer look at the picture, the runny egg made it look moist. But where were the onions? I was told they were out of them because they don't sell very many of this biscuit. And the shredded cheese was a slice of American. Basically it was 2 sausage patties, a biscuit (that was a bit dry), an egg (which was over hard, thank you!) and a slice of cheese. I'm going to stop here and let you draw your own conclusion on my opinion of the breakfast.

Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)

I picked: a large fluffy maple roll. The outside reminded me of a croissant in the best way with some mild maple sweetness and the inside was moist, pillowy, and rich. I heated it up in the oven next day which made it even better. A square coconut roll... crisp and flaky on the outside with the most delightful sweet coconut cream inside and flaked almonds on top. This was my favorite. Will get multiple next time. And a pair of taro rolls. These I was most excited for as I love taro, and they weren't bad at all, but were probably my least favorite of the 3, purely because they had an eggy aftertaste. They weren't overly sweet with a nice smooth taro filling. I also tried a taro milk tea with soy milk. These normally include lavender too, but I asked for mine without. The flavor was off the charts good. Strangely it was nothing like the usual taro drinks I've tried and I couldn't place what I was tasting, but it was rich and creamy and so satisfying. Only thing that bummed me out was that I ordered boba and there wasn't any. :(

I think they close at 7 PM. Definitely enjoying my birthday shake and just taking a minute to take a load off. Bounce back from a hectic day. I love the environment. Most of the seating is booth seats. Therefore, you can be comfortable and you can stretch out and enjoy yourself and relax with a friend or even by yourself. If you don't want to sit in the booth, you can sit at the wood table with two chairs for a more intimate setting. I utilize the app most time when purchasing something here because I'm pretty much always on the go. I love that. I love the option order ahead, access the drive-through or walk up, come on in and pick up your drink at the end of the counter where it says mobile pick up. (Just look up) Haven't had much staff interaction however there's a brunette with curly hair that's most often in the driveway in the morning. She's very friendly and customer friendly. I found pricing to be fair. The free Wi-Fi is not so free. You actually have to purchase something to get the code from Free WiFi, but I get it. Nobody wants anybody just sitting around using their Wi-Fi. It's all about the bandwidth baby. Lol. So make sure when you come in, you order ahead or mosey on up to the register and place a sit down, enter your WiFi code into your browser and be productive. Oh, I forgot to mention there are other drinks that you can purchase that are not coffee or tea based. They are energy drinks. There is orange juice, apple juice, as well as there are things for you to nosh on like Hubig's pie, cookies, brownies, avocado toast, cake pops and the like. Last thing I forgot to mention is there are benefits to your purchases. The more purchases you accumulate the more reward points you get and the more free stuff that you can redeem with those points. So make sure that you purchase in the app or in the store utilizing your phone number and check your points.
