I love this place. This time I tried the Potato galettes (think Potato pancake), and four pastries I havent tried before. The Staff is always friendly and the service is always fast. I went after 8 so it was nice and quiet in the restaurant. The Potato gallettes are crispy on the outside and are good with breakfast or lunch. The almond pastry was nice and soft. The almonds add nice texture. I was only supposed to eat half but I ate the whole thing. The chocolate croissants were just not for me. I love chocolate and I love croissants but together, it wasn't my thing. No stars off for that because it's a matter of preference. The ham and cheese Danish had crispy parmesan on the outside. I was really good and could be for breakfast and lunch. I visit here often. The Potato soup is delicious. I love the pesto chicken pasta, and I would tell you guys about this amazing cookie that they have BUT, they already sell out too quickly. I don't need any more competition. read more

Visited today had a salad and tomato soup the staff was very friendly and the food was good and fresh don't like Pepsi so I drank some of their great iced tea.While eating I noticed a female employee cleaning the tables and I must say I never saw anyone in my life clean the tables and chairs like Ms.Faye I would never have a problem eating in that dining room she was awesome and very much appreciated.While I was eating she gave me a copy of the daily newspaper to enjoy while I was eating.She made my experience so pleasant I would definitely return.Please get the coke products Pepsi is not very good! read more

I stopped here for lunch. The service was easy and fast. I chose the salad sampler. I had the petite caesar, cranberry and pecan wild field, and strawberry spinach bacon salads. They tossed in the salad dressings instead of serving them on the side. I wish I would have asked for a small dressing on the side because the tossed dressing was very little and made the salads a tad bit dry. I love the lighting here. Very bright and welcoming. The staff (as always) are nice and friendly.....genuinely friendly! They greet you upon entering and are very patient with me when I don't know what I want. Today I decided on coffee and a spinach omelette which comes with a croissant that I never eat. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because I hate being wasteful, especially with food. The croissant comes with the omelette, but I wish there was a way to just pay for the omelette and save a few bucks especially when I don't eat it, or to sub it out for something else without paying the full fee. Additionally, the plate was a bit greasy with a lot of fingerprints around the edges. Presentation is everything so it would have been great to have a plate that was nice shiny and clean, with the omelet in the center. In addition I told her to make sure my eggs were well done. I expressed this more than once but they came out undercooked and flavorless . The croissants were cold and hard, the bacon was burnt, and the potato Gallette outer crust was too hard to chew. The fruit that we paid extra for with the substitution wasn't the least bit sweet. When I asked to speak to the manager and she asked what we had we ordered and offered no explanation. All she told me was ok sweetie. This all was at a cost of $49 for these breakfast's. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken salad croissant. I didn't care for the Caesar salad. In my opinion It had too much Caesar dressing, it was too wet. I stopped by here to grab a dessert to take out. This was my first visit. There was plenty of parking and there were plenty of tables inside for dining-in. Over a quick glance, the tables did look clean. The staff person who took my order was friendly. There were only a few things in the display that I was interested in trying. We ordered easily and immediately sat at a table to start our soups salad and drinks. I liked that drinks are self serve and little bread with butter is available. We had a number at our table so they could bring our food when it was ready. Between the 4 of us, we had: -The French Dip with potato chips (hot, fresh and the chips were great!) -Kids Chicken & Chees Pasta with fruit cup and juice (No complaints from 10 yr old) -Pasta la Madeleine....w/broccoli & Mushrooms with sea salt baguette (big portion and I loved the sliced chicken instead of chunks) -Country Potato soup (not hot enough for my taste, but all my kids liked it) -Cranberry Pecan Wild Field Salad Drinks, we had tea, soda, juice and fancy mocha coffee. I finally found something that La Madeleine doesn't do well. I ordered the French Dip Sandwich and a Caesar Salad through Uber Eats. The lettuce was starting to go bad. The meat on the sandwich was tough, hard to chew and flavorless. The accompanying au jus was just nasty. It pains me to give a 2-star review but in the last couple of months, there seems to be no attention to what was ordered. I order takeout breakfast nearly every Sunday - French Country Breakfast with extra add-on bacon and avocado. I do wish the croissant could be substituted but that's not the issue. The last few months, something has been left out of the order nearly ever week - a couple of times, there was no potato galette; several times, no avocado; several times, no extra bacon. I'Ve started checking the order befor leaving. Last week, I noticed there was no extra bacon so the sweet woman at the takeout area gave me the extra bacon. However, I didn't notice until I got home that the potato galette was missing. Obviously, I'm paying for food I'm not getting. I would give this place negative stars if I could. The old location must have had different staff. I've come here twice now and both times have been beyond horrible. The first time I came, I gave them a break since they just opened but clearly that was not the issue. I ordered a soup and half sandwich combo. My boyfriends food came out and my soup arrived later but the sandwich never did. I asked the staff, they said it was coming. Waited over 10mins. The staff now says they are making a fresh one. Once they brought it, it was the wrong sandwich. Waited over 30mins to get my food. I was very upset and they only offered me a full sandwich instead of the half I ordered. I had no desire to go back. A couple months later, Im on the road and need breakfast before my trip. "Let's try la Madeline again. It's a better option than McDonald's..." well actually it wasn't and I wished I'd gone there instead. We ordered American breakfast with extra bacon "eggs your way", we requested over easy. Drink-americano. Second meal, potato galette with a side egg over medium. Americano came out as a basic black coffee. Guess they don't know what americano is. Staff looking for table confused and offers it to 2 other tables. We decline it because it's scrambled eggs with side sausage. Not our order. The lady goes to the kitchen and comes back saying it's our order. No it's not. We ordered this...on the receipt. She returns to the kitchen frustrated. Our order comes with the same side of sausage not the extra bacon. We remind the staff. By end of the meal it comes and it's literally a pile of burnt crumbles. See photo. My potato was way over cooked it was hard. This experience was horrible. The staff can not communicate with each other on several levels. I will not go back. The chicken: Why would you mess with a good thing? The chicken that used to be used for the salads and sandwiches (i.e., Caesar chicken sandwich and salad) was OUTSTANDING. Now, it's bland and pretty much unseasoned which completely changed the flavor profile of some of the most popular dishes - and not for the better, in my opinion. The avocado toast was so salty as to be nearly inedible. I tried scraping the pre-seasoning off. The entire plate was floating in grease. I ordered a potato galette on the side, which was tasty, but barely lukewarm. And they were out of coffee due to a "mishap in the back". Definitely not a $20 breakfast. The employees were friendly though. I used to come here years ago, when the food was quite good. I came once a few months ago and the food was lackluster and the employees let the leftover dishes pile up on every table. I literally had to bus my own table to sit down.
