We stopped by for lunch. Everything is cooked to order. I had a cucumber salad with avocado and grilled chicken. It was very fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. My date had an Italian meat sandwich which seemed a bit small but was also very good. They have a fabulous selection of coffees, coffee drinks and refreshing non alcoholic varieties. I can't review the food because we never got any. After being ignored while standing at the counter we finally ordered a panini, salad, lemonade, and a water and paid $48 with tip. Not one of the open tables had been bussed so we sat between two of them and waited. It was at least 30 minutes before someone came to clear the tables without saying a word to us as we sat there awkwardly trying to avoid getting food brushed on our laps. After an hour of waiting we finally left. No food, not even the lemonade, and certainly no apology, explanation or even acknowledgement. We were looking forward to trying a new place but this was possibly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Strange ambiance. Not clear when walking in if you're supposed to seat yourself or order at the counter. The two ladies running the dining area and who were standing behind the counter watched us cluelessly approach to then tell us to be seated, but the menu is above the counter. However, when seated we were handed different menus. After the confusion wore off, we were impressed with the menu and excited for what we had just ordered: split pea portobello mushroom soup, oxtail pasta, and braised short rib ravioli. But THEN the soup arrived and it was horrible. Bland, watery and no spices. When asked for salt and pepper to try and spice it up a bit the server when to the only table that had a salt shaker and took it from another patron that was using it (she literally salted her meal and handed over the shaker). The main course arrived and while it redeemed itself over the soup it was just average. Both of our meals tasted the same. For the price of these 2 meals and a bowl of soup we would have expected a side salad and bread at least. Wanted dessert but decided to pass. read more

Didn't eat there. Just went in to grab a water because my girlfriend was next door getting her nails done. Didn't charge me for it, just said it's only water. I went with a friend last week for lunch and could not have been more disappointed. The (miniscule) panini were tasty, what there were of them. The eggplant parm had a paper-thin slice of eggplant on it and the veggie version has a similarly paper-thin slice of zucchini. They were not much more than the length and width of a hot dog roll. Additionally, they were served with absolutely nothing on the side, no chips, no piece of fruit, nothing. Each lunch with a large drink, iced tea for my friend and lemonade for me cost a whopping $22 (tip included.) The place was so noisy we could barely hear each other, and we didn't appreciate the drinks in plastic cups. I wanted to like it, but we won't be back. read more

I have wanted to go to this place for a few months because it looks beautiful. Decided today to go to lunch. Ordered a pannini ($12) , truffle fries $8) and a rib eye with potatoes and asparagus ($45) TOTAL $72.00. I'm sorry, What?!? I would have NEVER ordered it if I knew it was $45 for an entree. The order was to go. We arrived home, fries were ok. Asparagus was really good. Rib eye was just mostly chewy fat. Pannini was super small, but I guess for $12 you can't complain. Absolutely delicious! We saw a picture of their food online and knew we had to try it immediately. Everything we had was so fresh and seasoned so well. The Del Corso Pizza was so amazing with fresh burrata, prosciutto, arugula, and pistachios. The food and flavors reminded us of our trip to Italy last fall. We can't wait to make this a regular place we visit and already picked out what we're having next time. They also had lots of desserts in the counter that looked so good and we had to get some to take home. The owner came over and introduced himself and made sure we had a great experience. I have been three times now, and really like it. The lavendar lemonade is excellent. I had the meatball soup last time I went and it was very yummy. My son loved his pannini. I realize food prices are going up, but this was ridiculous for a salad. After I got my salad too, I realized it wasn't a lettuce salad. It never said on the menu it was a lettuce salad, but I just assumed because most salads are made with lettuce. The portions were generous, the quality of the food and presentation were high end nouveau cuisine. This bistro is a must go if you are in the area.
