Alexander's in downtown Binghamton is a great takeout and breakfast go to. I had an early lunch here and ordered the scorcher. Wow! Hot and a little spicy, I warmed up immediately and also got a side of home fries. Not a fancy place, but really delicious and reasonably priced food.

Excellent food. Lots of variety. Everything is fresh Had to take half home. The sandwichs are so big

The Chenango panini and Greek pasta salad. WOW! So much flavor and ready within minutes.

I had a girls weekend in Binghamton with my roommates from college and we stopped here for a late lunch. I may be a little bias because my one roommate's cousin owns the place, but regardless! the sandwiches were delicious! I had the Chenango panini with greek pasta salad. The panini bread was to die for and the pasta salad very tasty. It's a little hole in the wall but so worth the try. Excited to try more when I'm back in Binghamton!

Sooo gooooood. Butternut squash, mac salad, and delicious Napoleon panini

I'm all about supporting local businesses. Why go to panera when you can go to a cute locally owned cafe with unique food thats homemade from the chef? I have NOT been cooking lately, its just not convenient as a traveling nurse. I stopped by Alexanders Cafe for a quick lunch and I'm SO glad I picked this spot! I think its a little pricey to be honest but everything is homemade with the best ingredients. I got their homemade butternut squash soup (3/5) the flavor was off, somewhat bland. But better with pepper and salt. I also got the napoleon panini (5/5) delicious fresh motz, portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, & balsamic aioli. So good. I also got their homemade mac salad which was tasty. They have indoor/outdoor seating available. Def will be back!

Delicious . I had the chicken artichoke panini and my husband had the w.h Lane..: amazing . The chicken enchilada soup was also very good! Honestly, the owner is what sold me. He says hello to everyone, and hand delivers the food while also saying THANK YOU! Something that has been lost in the food industry . Keep up the great work! We will return !

This place is actually super good. I mean I've had some of their desserts and paninis and salads and I have NEVER been disappointed. Great, quick service. Front of the house workers are always so kind. This here is the chenango panini. Super yummy. It took 12 minutes to call in a pick up order, pull up to their grab and go parking, and receive my order Genuinely a great place for a quick lunch.

BBQ sandwich (it was one of the specials)

this place is amazing!! i come here at least three times a week, the service is always very quick and the staff is very sweet. the food and the specials are always really good. overall really recommend this place and it is definitely one of my favorite breakfast/lunch spots. also very affordable so it's great especially for college students!

I honestly get emotional talking about this place. Even more-so eating here. Apparently even thinking about it gets me in my feels. If you're in a rush and Chef knows it, he'll call you *by name* and get your order started as you walk through the door. You can be in and out in a matter of minutes, so if you're on the go searching for a relatively healthy and full-bodied quality meal this is your place. Don't be afraid to call ahead, either. I'm not a dessert guy in the SLIGHTEST, but I'm quite certain those chocolate peanut butter "CookieWichs" are crafted by angels and forged from the leftover happy-crying tears of dog lovers in the Triple cities that haven't already drained into the Binghamton Aquifer. They are quite literally the tastiest treat I've ever had the privilege of tasting. The way Chef combines flavors into these divine masterpieces is unreal. Surreal. Every single sandwich I've gotten here I've unwrapped like my first birthday present and savored like my last meal. My favorite is the London broil stuffed WH Lane. I'll tell you it's so good it should be illegal...for driving in the wrong Lane. Eating it is as close to a religious experience I've ever had the blessing to experience. Take your friends and coworkers. Send your family in town for your family reunion. They will be impressed with your taste in Sandwich Culture. Ordered several sandwiches and had them chucked all in one bag? Heck, I don't have to worry, mine's got my name on it. Don't forget a side of the Baked Potato Salad. Just do it, I've run out of descriptors and all puns are now half-Baked. Honestly, having this place next to my station has been the biggest feather in my cap as a Binghamtonian. Thanks for having your restaurant here, sharing your masterpieces, and for the A+ customer service and food.

Decided to stop by to pick up lunch for my family and I since I had business nearby and everything was so good! I had the Mr. Lucky panini and a turtle pie. The panini was very filling and I like that you can choose the cheese you want on it. The turtle pie was very unique, and even though it was so hard to choose a dessert looking at everything they had I don't regret my choice (although I'm tempted to come back to try the rest). I also tried some of their shamrock shake and it was just as delightful as everything else, and tastier than the fast food version. The staff was really nice and patient. Currently they have lots of outdoor seating set up all along the street.

I'm from NYC and this was the best bacon egg and cheese on a roll I've ever had. Better than Uncle's in Darien. Worth a detour.

Classic! If you need a place in Binghamton to eat check this place out. Paninis are filling and the key lime pie is to die for.

This choice was…read morebasically accomplished by using Google and seeing the massive list of places in the area and choosing one we haven't been to yet. Oh my gosh I'm glad we did this one.. Isn't much to look at when you walk in but it's basically a diner so what do you really expect? . Menu isn't huge but what they do they do very well. First thing I noticed when the breakfast came to the table was that the potatoes were fried in butter. A lot of places we have gone to use a little oil on the flat top, nope this place uses butter. And not that cheap imitation butter either they use some real butter. Those potatoes were incredible. We both had the steak and eggs, we both ordered the steak or air which for a breakfast steak is about a 25 second window before it's overcooked, and these guys nailed it. Everything else we had was really good including the French toast. A lot of places have it rather soggy, this wasn't crispy but it was well, let's just say less soggy. We asked him about other things we like for example the sausage biscuits and gravy which they only do on Saturday so we have to go back now. I also want to try their breakfast sandwiches because I was talking to them about these, and for those that are in this area that remember a place on I think Broad Avenue called Pasquale's.. well Pasquale's used to have the best breakfast sandwiches, and the Clinton diner here is telling me that they make theirs a little bit bigger. Definitely has my interest peaked. So anyway yes, I definitely recommend this place. The prices were not too bad really, all of the food we have here I think was about $30. For two steaks, and basically a third order of French toast, I'd say not too bad.

I have been having breakfast here almost every week for around 19 years. The food is great, the…read moreservice is good and the prices are very reasonable.
