Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

Big mood: kindness exists! Shoutout to the French waitstaff who instantly brought an extra table for Mr. Solo- talk about next-level hospitality and brainpower. However, the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere is chill -- we weren't in a rush at all! Sitting at a booth in the back, we had the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy our meal, making for a lovely brunch with friends or family.
