I came here with a friend for breakfast. Usually I come to grab a latte to go but we stayed this day. The place is clean and spacious, and has lot of seating area. It was a bit crowded as many are working on their laptops. They have free wifi. We placed our orders quickly and grabbed a table. It didn't take too long before they brought the lattes and the food. The service was quick and everything was very tasty. I ordered the panino al Crudo and the focaccia was crunchy yet soft, nicely toasted. The mustard sauce adds a nice favor to the prosciutto and provolone cheese. Highly recommended. My friend had the egg sammy combo with hash brown and drip coffee. She upgraded to a latte. Her feedback is also everything is very tasty. It is a great place to hang with friends or grab a quick lunch. I'll bring friends next time if they are in my neighborhood. read more

This place has a nice selection of pastries and espresso drinks. I had a hot chocolate and it was very tasty. The atmosphere is nice and the service is attentive. This is hands down the best café I have ever went to Every single drink they make is delicious! They are also so kind and accommodating no matter how busy they are. It's was worth the travel for me to Harlem since I don't live around here. And the super plus part!!!.....u can bring ur dog in, they even have dog treats! The "angry Italian" is 5 stars, you can dine in or take out staff is really nice and sweet they will clean up after you. Music is always on point they play new music. Went at 4:35 on a Wednesday to pick up a bag and try their coffee. They're suppose to be open till 5pm. Waisted a trip, my time, and a subway toll traveling to their shop. Wouldn't recommend if you value your time. read more

10/10 experience. Visited this coffee shop recently and had a great experience. Staff was extremely friendly and the barista took the time to show us all of the syrup options and provide suggestion. I had the maple spiced latte with oat milk, and it was delightful. Very smooth, not overly sweet. Also trued the chocolate chip cookie and the hot chocolate - which were both great. They also offer other Italian brewing methods using moka pot type devices. Didn't end up trying them, but definitely plan to. Also we saw several customers enjoying breakfast dishes if you're looking for something more filling. My neighborhood cafe spot which I frequent when I need to get out of my apartment and get some work done, read a book or to be out and about. It is a relaxing place when the music is not too loud and you can enjoy a conversation with your friend. I usually get a latte or a cup of brew. It does remind me of a cup of coffee in Italy. My favorite pastry is the carrot bread; dense, moist and just the right amount of sweetness. The staff are all very nice and the ambience is perfect for whatever mood you are in. Very cool space with decent seating options and ample light! They roast their own beans which is really cool for nyc and they do it on site with the equipment visible from the seating area which is even rarer for Manhattan. Decent pricing and laptops are allowed!! read more

Dell' Aria has so much going for them my head was full of information. The employee was so knowledgeable about the current menu and the future plans for the business. He shared with me the training they plan to provide in the art of Italian Coffee. They roast the coffee here and will have classes. Currently the pastries are not the standard fair. They gladly heat up quiche and prepare avocado toast. The almond croissant was recommended to me by one customer. I was drooling over the carrot bread. I didn't want to ruin my lunch so I opted for a biscotti. It was just the right bite size. They serve beer and wine too. They have plenty of seating inside and outside. It's a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. There was one person at her computer along side a family with a baby in a stroller. They open early too. They are settling into the community. I suggest you visit and enjoy the coffee and something to eat. I had a really good experience. The Italians are returning to East Harlem! PS the unisex restrooms are beautiful and clean. read more

Super bad y'all. Had a group of 4 come in, lady at the counter seemed to grab all the orders. My cap was wayyy too sweet, so I kindly asked her to remake it. They only called out 2 out of 4 drinks in the group, remade my drink twice saying it's for one of the others in the group and still forgot the last one Guy behind the counter went off on us and how we need to pay attention and said he made all the drinks, pointed to my water cup and said I even made an extra one! I'm absolutely obsessed with this place. i stumbled upon it randomly, it's kinda hidden between some streets and i'm so happy i did. initially, it kinda looks like a super bougie and overpriced place but i'm so happy i gave it a chance. the coffee was delicious and they have the greatest pastries in the world. nutella, pistachio, almond croissants.. MUST I SAY MORE?! but i gotta say.. the best part was the TRUFFLE FRIES. can't say i was expecting too much from a coffee shop but damn, these were FIRE the service was amazing as well, the barista helped recommend things, described everything in detail for me, and also shared some of her fave items. the ambience in here is lovely as well, it gives super classy yet modern vibes. i could stay in here all day :) can't wait to try to rest of the menu, it does seem very authentically italian. read more

It's 4:25 and no hot coffee available, not even an americano or any espresso drink. What's the point of being open until 5? I get if I came in at 5 minutes to close buts it's 35 minutes and the woman working was fully shutting the place down. read more

new favorite spot for coffee. extra special that you can see the roasting of their own beans quite large inside and so welcoming. love the interior and the mugs used. menu isn't apparent but they are able to make anything. cappuccino goes for $5 sandwiches available and pastries also look quite tasty which i need to try be wary of the cold draft when the doors open, but there are curtains to shield which is appreciated. great place to meet friends, lots of seating. or do some work alone read more

Yes! A new Italian cafe to the neighborhood.. The cafe has a really nice ambience with ample space and high ceilings... Not only is it a cafe, they are also a roaster of their own beans - with the roaster open to public view. They have your typical coffees with some house specialties - lavender latte and a mocha made with almond milk and cinnamon. Checking out the menu - they also have lunch which i will need to try. All in all a great experience and a welcomed addition. read more

They have a young man working here and he is amazing. You can tell he cares about his customers. However there is another person who was working at the time I came and I was waiting for my drink for about 30 minutes and I was trying to get there attention but she ignored me. I had the best customer service today. I didn't get the person's name (or if they said it I was too distracted by the nightmare of my life to hear it) but the interaction made my day so much better I can't even be objective about the quality of the food. Genuine human interaction is the best seasoning food can have. I will be back. Often. I'd like to think I would update this with a more objective opinion of the food and ambiance to give you a better idea of what the place is actually like. The best coffee in the area. This is a great spot to meet with friends for a delicious vanilla latte or whatever your preference. The ambiance is great, airy and background music perfect -not too loud or obnoxious. Seats are pretty comfy too and the cold brew I order pretty good. Biggest disappointment was that as we settled in for a couple hours of work from cafe, we were informed they were closing in less than an hour (@5pm on a Sat), not at 7pm as listed online. She was very respectful, that's very rare in NYC, and had great recommendations. The respect she demonstrated demonstrated to me that genuine people do exist in NYC, and I would recommend Dell' Aria to anyone who wants a great place to grab some caffeine and do some work around respectful people!
