I won't be back because the owner/manager did not seem kind or caring at all when my phone battery died, and my car died outside their shop right before close. The owner/manager (woman in her 40s/50s) was careless and locked up shop quickly, she likely would've left me alone at dark. If anything, it seemed like the 16-year-old here was the only one interested in helping me when I was left in a scary situation! God bless that girl who did help me... but I will never ever support this establishment again because of the way the owner/manager lady acted. First time here. I had the street tacos, and tried the carne asada, green chili pork, carnitas, and Al pastor. All of them were really good. The rice and refried beans were also very good, with enough unique flavor to distinguish Cafe Sol from other restaurants. My daughter had the chicken enchiladas, and they were also very good. The chips were good, but the only thing that I wasn't blown away with was their salsa. It tasted like it was made with fresh peppers, onion and cilantro, but using canned tomatoes. Definitely had the canned tomatoes flavor in it. Every other item we tried tasted like it was super fresh, so the salsa is their largest opportunity for improvement in my opinion. Pricing was moderate considering the limited atmosphere (strip center storefront, limited decor, counter service), $13 for street tacos and also $13 for the enchilada plate. All in, the food was great and we will definitely go back. read more

My wife and had lunch at cafe sol for the first time. We loved the food as well as the atmosphere. I ordered street tacos in a variety of flavors and none disappointed. I really like the variety also of the chips and salsa order with 3 kinds of dip. My wife got the quesadillas and loved them but had to take half home do the portion size. Some of the best street tacos I've had. Especially loved the Al pastor! What blew my mind were the perfectly cooked potatoes on the side.
