You can tell this is a popular and well-loved spot. They have customer service down, one lady who was a little closer to my age seemed to be running things and she was on top of orders and communicative. The wait wasn't long considering the amount of people before me, and overall it's a bright, friendly vibe. The horchata and bacon breakfast burrito are things I will dream about. This burrito is easily 3 meals for me. I love the value, and the face that the taste isn't compromised . I got the orange salsa and it definitely adds more flavor. Heard a lot about this place and have been meaning to try it but haven't got around to it until today and unfortunately will not be ordering from them again or at least not a burrito. A coworker who offered to order on door dash said he was getting burritos and who doesn't like a breakfast burrito, so I went ahead and ordered the one with chorizo and sausage and let me tell you it was huge and very well rolled but the flavor was just not there! Salsas not fresh, their green one was most likely store bought tasted like the Herdez bottled one. Every time I'm back in San Jose, I always make sure to stop by here. Cafe Rosalena was always a staple during my college years and I'm always in awe of their continuous growth. I think I got the 2 meat combo - chorizo and bacon with a horchata latte. I always forget how big the burritos are but it was fire as usual. I always get their breakfast burrito Florentine. Well I'm not vegetarian, I love it with egg whites and the avocado spinach that comes with it. I don't know what it is, but it's better than a lot of other places breakfast burritos and it's huge. You have to get their orange sauce. It's kind of like the one that you get at La Victoria's. I'm knocking off a few stars not because of Café Rosalena itself, but because our breakfast was interrupted by a woman who was clearly either mentally ill and/or a drug addict that was screaming obscenities outside at the customers, she just wouldn't go away and at one point somebody from inside told her to go away and never come back. But she did come back, twice, and continued to scream, at some point stopping in front of our table and stood there for at least 3 minutes spewing the same nonsense.
