Very average Italian restaurant. Dishes were kinda smaller portioned. Pasta was subpar. Chicken plates werent extraordinary. Go if you're hungry but don't expect a memorable experience. Service was average despite restaurant not being full and half dozen employees standing around. read more

We came here after arriving late from the airport and were able to get a table for five straight away. It's got a nice elegant atmosphere but not so much so that you'd need to dress up at all. The service was quite quick (although our waiter was a combination of semi- hostile and humorous which I found likable but might put off other more sensitive guests!) The food was pretty good but nothing mindblowing- I had the puttanesca but with spaghetti rather than penne and it was tasty if a little heavy on the olives for my taste! We also had a really nice bottle of Malbec with our food and the prices were reasonable all round. One thing I didn't like was that there are tv screens for watching sports which didn't seem to fit with the vibe of the restaurant and were a bit distracting! But no biggie really, didn't ruin our night at all and I think some guests would enjoy it. All in all it's a good solid option for a last minute dinner out! read more

Went to dine there without planning. I hesitated as I left my house wearing my gym clothes until the desire to eat pasta and seafood hit. The treated me like a queen. Didn't feel discriminated as i have felt at even less superior restaurants. I will give a 5 starts because of the amazing management and food, but the waitress and waitress need some customer service skills. Nit all done we're great. The waiter who took my order bright me the wrong plate. Never returned to apologize. I would definitely return! read more

If you want to feel at home and be greeted by name and hugs every time you go, this comfortable,,at home feeling,,Argentinian/Italian bistro is the place to go. Just point to anything on the menu and order it and you will not be disappointed. It is that good! The meatballs and Ai Porcini pizza definitely are my favorites. read more

WOW!!! The most amazing, fresh, delicious food we've had in ages. The service was spectacular as well. We will definitely be going back!

ordered ravioli on Uber Eats, with crab .. it was a fake crab for $ 40 .. disgusting quality of food

This place was fine. I don't know why everyone raves about it. Maybe they were really hungry. Adjust your expectations. read more

Cafe Ragazzi is that little cozy neighborhood restaurant that will not let you down. The food is good and consistent but not utterly refine. read more

This place is GREAT!! Food was fresh, delicious, and the service was excellent! The bread and bruschetta were a great start to our evening and my martini was perfectly delicious. Husband and I tried the stuffed ravioli and veal Marsala. Both dishes were excellent! Closed the evening with a delicious red wine poached pear dessert which was served with a creamy and delicious vanilla ice cream and cappuccino. All food came out on a timely manner and price was ok and as expected given the great meal and excellent service received. Atmosphere is busy yet still cozy and intimate. Just perfection for our date night. Definitely coming back! read more

My hotel called the restaurant to check whether or not reservations were needed. Who ever they spoke with assured them that I could walk in and grab a table. Unfortunately, after being greeted at the door and being told just one minute. The individual I was greeted by seemed busier socializing than he was seating guests. There were multiple tables open and guests who arrived after me were seated before me. So after around 10-15 minutes of standing around like an idiot I left. If the food is anything like the service I would recommend you find another place to visit. read more

We were looking for a place for dinner on Valentine's Day and the concierge at the hotel secured a reservation for us. Quaint little place with parking in the back in a self-pay lot. When we arrived, the manager greeted us and made us feel so welcome. The place was decorated with red heart-shaped balloons, one on each chair. We ordered drinks, listened to the specials, ordered dinner and enjoyed! The carpaccio was excellent and my beet salad was great! My husband ordered the crab stuffed ravioli and I had the stuffed veal chop. Both were excellent. We also had a side of penne pasta with bolognese sauce, which I must say was great! There was no room for dessert although our waiter tempted us. When We return to Miami again, we'll definitely make a return trip. read more

Great food, great service, and always consistent! Would give them 5 stars, but they changed their takeout containers a while ago and the new ones are absolutely awful. They went from aluminum and wax paper tops to cardboard, which soaks up all the sauce from the pasta dishes, which leaves you with dry food and soggy containers that'll get your car and table wet. Asked them on my order today to put down parchment paper to prevent the container from soaking up the sauces, was told they were aware of the issue and would do it, but failed to actually execute the parchment liner request. Will continue to eat here, but probably not in a takeout capacity, which was about 95% of my patronage to them, so they'll be seeing less business from a regular now. Hope they go back to the old containers! read more

Waste of money. Not real Italian, probably Spanish cooks. The pizza was not crispy (mushy).the halibut special was salty, average place overpriced, not impressed at all read more

Sometimes you cant judge a place because its busy and the attention you want is not the same. I have always loved this place and every time i go back the same quality flavorful dishes are the same. Christian the manager runs the place with the passion and love he has done for years. Great food, ambiance and vibe!! read more

Do not use UberEATS for this place, this new owner since Beto is the WORST EVER!!!!! they will charge you extra for the typical side order. DO NOT ORDER USING UBEREATS OR OTHER! read more

Ragazzi used to be for me a place to find good clean Italian food. But after last night, the pancetta was stale, the veal was stale, the salad dressing in the greens was old. The only good part of the dinner was the broccoli and potatoes. And we all know how it's almost impossible to screw up broccoli and potatoes. Last night's $60 dinner was very disappointing. To Cafe Ragazzi: you better buck up and go back to basics of serving fresh food! I'm changing my rating to a 1 star! Good luck to you all, but I will not be spending another dollar at your fine establishment. I rather eat ribs at Flanagan's!! And I hate ribs! read more

On a short weekend trip to Miami Beach, we enjoyed our time at Cafe Ragazzi. Santiago made our experience even more memorable with his knowledge and passion for fine food. The lasagna melted in our mouths and the apple tart with coffee sealed the deal for a superb meal. Highly recommend. read more

First the host left while speaking on the phone without even acknowledging or saying he'll be with us. He did not come back for a while, then when he took down our name and we asked if they texted or called he very rudely stated he "doesn't call or text anybody. We are too busy to do any of that." I think a simple, "We don't do that" without a rude tone would've been enough. We ended up going to another restaurant because of him. read more

For my first time visist the food was pretty good and so was the wine, but I'm giving it one star review because they charged me for mine tab and a table that was not mine, and on top of that with tip! I am very disapointed. Its an error that should not be happening. Now I have to go out of my way call my bank and make sure that this "accidental" charge doesnt go thru. read more

Their pizza made me happier than a puppy in a bag of Puppy Chow. We tried a Fugazzeta and a Margherita pie. Both were fabulous. The Caesar salad was average. The interior is a bit cramped, but encouraged us to chat with the people sitting next to us. The servers are friendly. Definitely worth a repeat visit. read more

I have been coming to Cafe Ragazzi even before it took over the space from the travel agency next door. I always loved the food there, and, although it was far from true Italian cuisine, it was a fun evening with dependable food. After a recent meal there, I am sad to say that I will never eat there again. The meatball appetizer, which I remember as flavorful meatballs with a bright tomato sauce and a scoop of ricotta, came to the table as disturbingly pink (what did they use? pastrami? corned beef? spam? ) meatballs with a drizzle of watered down ricotta. I ordered the eggplant rollatini as a main course, and it was thin slices of eggplant rolled around bricks of cheap mozzarella, covered with tomato sauce and yet another layer of mozzarella. Mozzarella overkill! - it was inedible, and the waiter was quite polite in offering to take it back. I substituted it with spaghetti and tomato/garlic sauce, and although the sauce was freshly made, the pasta was way, way overcooked. Chef - you are supposed to slightly undercook the pasta, then finish it in the pan with the sauce so the pasta is al dente when it comes to table. My dinner partner had the chicken in lemon sauce, and the chicken appeared to be brined, which is unnecessary in a chicken saute like that. For dessert, we decided to have the strawberries with zabaglione, which has always been whole berries and the zab. Last night, the strawberries had been finely chopped and in an anemic syrup - when you take a spoon of either the berries or the zab, you wound up with unappetizing spoonfuls of strawberry juice in the zab or zab in the strawberries. Very unappetizing. Isn't it easier to just use fresh strawberries? - or are they sourcing the berries pre-chopped and sauced? All in all, an extremely dissappointing dining experience for two long-time south Florida residents. read more

I rarely give five stars but this place has earned it! It is intimate, has an unbelievably friendly and well trained staff, amazing food, and a wide variety of wines. I feel like I am in Italy when I am there. I like so sit at the bar for a glass of wine before dinning to make friends with the staff. Some are really from Italy and have great stories. Try to go somewhat early on a week night so that you can have the place to yourself. read more

Unfortunately they get zero stars now because they don't do take out. This place keeps going downhill

Loved it!! Service & ambience was good...food was amazing. We had spaghetti Bolognese, spaghetti & meatballs , lasagna, & I had the grouper special. All four dishes were great. We also ordered a bottle of wine and 2 desserts. Total bill was about 185 before tip for 4 people. Totally worth it! So glad we went back, hadn't been in years.... the food is still as good as I remember :) read more

This is one of the noisiest restaurants that I have ever gone to. I couldn't hear the person sitting next to me let alone my wife who was sitting opposite me. As far as the food goes it is a little pricey for standard italien dishes. I had spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were tasteless. I didnt finish the meal it was so boring in taste. read more

I tried the risotto and, excuse my language, it looked like a vomit, completely over cooked, thick like a glue, ugly. I couldn't eat it of course. I would only go back if I am in the mood for pizza read more

Cafe Ragazzi has earned my five-star honor because of their delicious italian fare and friendly, efficient service. The bread and tomatoes (free at your table) are to die, and the arugula pizza I had with spicy salami was some of the best pizza I've had in Miami to date. Fried zucchini platter was good and the truffle mushroom pasta was rich and satisfying. I came here with my parents (who are italian and know the cuisine very well) and they were impressed. The waiters were polite and they all worked together to be accommodating. I walked out so full and happy -- I am definitely coming back. read more

Our dining experience was very Good! Service was too notch, bread, wine and our pasta was delicious. We ordered capilleni pomodoro and parmesan chicken and both were excellent. Will definitely go back when we come back to this area. read more

I passed by this restaurant taking a walk down the street, and the menu looked interesting, I read some reviews on yelp and it's not easy to find restaurants around the area with more than 4 stars so we gave it a try. The place was nearly empty it might have been that they were getting ready To switch shifts to start dinner, but we were seated anyways, and given some bread rolls with delicious tomatoes. We stared with a tricolore salad and it was great, I recommend asking for little dressing because it's a bit stronger than at most restaurants. The main courses were great, again too much sauce on the pollo al limone, the spaghetti side was cooked al dente and so was the gnocchi. Now for the best part, the pears poached in Barolo wine with ice cream, it was a great way to finish off a meal, the waiter was friendly and attentive but a bit slow which is why I took away a star, at one point the staff all disappeared and were hanging out by the bar. Maybe during busier hours they're more attentive, but I'll be back to try again read more

I went yesterday with two coworkers to celebrate a birthday and we requested the menu of the day. To our surprise they mentioned that they no longer have it. Then we requested A pesto pasta and the waiter told us that they no longer had it. When discussing the regular menu with the waiter we asked what was the reason of the change and with great attitude he said "because the owner decided and thats it, he it the boss" . This caught us all off guard and from that moment on it was quite difficult to enjoy everything else at the restaurant. The waiter made us feel unwelcome and very uncomfortable. I am giving this restaurant a two because the food was good. However this waiter is a terrible representation of what this restaurant stands for. Hoping that the management make the appropriate changes to make sure that whomever is representing their name and their service is up to the standard of the restaurant read more

Really disappointed ... went by reviews and was expecting solid food and service. Started with a shocking lack of quality spirit selection (they did not even basic bourbons like Woodford reserve) ... followed by an appetizer served room temp (Buratta ) .. main course for my wife got returned .. as she ordered linguini carbonara .. it came out with angel hair and sauce was sooo thick it was clumpy... my Marsala was average ... overall disappointment read more

This is a good spot- reliable Italian food, consistent service and quality. Sometimes it's a bit loud, but otherwise a great spot.
