I decided to check out Cafe Moment because I had a random craving for bingsu. When my husband and I went to the self ordering kiosk, we noticed a very pungent sewage smell in the hallway area. The floor was also very sticky. We ordered the Greentea Mochi Snowflake and were pretty disappointed. I was hoping that the green tea flavor would be more of a matcha flavor but that wasn't the case. I like the taste of green tea so I wouldn't have minded but the bingsu was so sweet, I could barely taste any green tea flavor. The best part about the bingsu was the corn flakes and mochi bits but I don't even like corn flakes. The portion was pretty generous and could easily be shared with 2-3 people, which would be nice if the bingsu was actually good. We ended up only eating less than half of it. Would I go back? : Definitely not. I've never had a bad bingsu before and unfortunately this will be the first. We ended up going to Chateau de Chantilly Cafe afterwards because of how unsatisfied we were with our experience.
I've been here many times and the mango cheesecake bingsu NEVER misses. Literally one of my favorite desserts ever. The mangoes are sweet. The cheesecake bites are so creamy and yummy. The snow is milky and soft. The cereal adds a very nice texture. The vanilla ice cream on top is a a pretty sizable scoop. It's a big portion for one person, so I recommend sharing or just ball hard on your own. The croffle choco was So yummy as well. The texture was crispy and soft. The warm waffle with the cold ice cream is a wonderful contrast. The chocolate sauce kind of reminded me of Nutella. The Blue Portion-ade wasn't worth it imo. It pretty much tasted like watered down Sprite. Despite having two desserts, I still wouldn't say I was sugar overloaded. They weren't TOO sweet where I felt sick afterwards, but I was definitely stuffed. I'm a big fan of the self checkout and just grabbing your tray of food without much interaction. To some maybe it feels a little cold? But to me, this is paradise to not have much interaction prior to me devouring the food. Overall, I love coming here and eating yummy desserts in a chill environment!
I got the croffle banana Nutella, which came loaded with Nutella, whipped cream, and a nice touch of banana slices. Overall, it's sweet but an absolute must-get -- somehow the croffle stays super crispy despite being absolutely drenched in Nutella. The tiramisu snow, on the other hand, didn't quite hit the same. It was topped with chocolate ice cream, which I actually think hurt the dish. The snow itself is super soft and fluffy, but paired with the rich chocolate ice cream, it made the snow taste almost icy in comparison. Separately, the snow is great -- together, not my favorite combo. I also tried the Thai tea with bubbles, just to sample their drinks. Unfortunately, the bubbles weren't the texture I like, and the Thai tea had an artificial taste. I ordered it less sweet (I usually prefer my drinks a lot less sweet than standard), but after the sugar overload from the other desserts, it just wasn't enjoyable. I'd definitely come back for the croffle and to try their "ade" drinks, but I'm not sure I'd get the snow again.
We wanted dessert after dinner this past Monday, and Cafe Moment was the perfect option since something light and cold like bingsoo would hit the spot. My friend and I ordered at the kiosk and waited around 5 minutes for our bingsoo. We sat at a booth, and we were surprised there weren't more customers. GREEN TEA RED BEAN SNOW - 10.95 I think that was the price... Anyways, the portion was pretty big and could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. The ice was light and enjoyable, and the corn flakes were the perfect compliment, providing a crunchy and lightly sweet depth. However, we found that the green tea syrup/sauce was too sweet since there was a lot of condense milk. We ate as much as we could before the sweetness got too much. The red bean also added more sweetness, unfortunately. The pieces of green tea rice cakes were a nice touch that we enjoyed. The bits of mochi was good, too. The bingsoo was alright, and would be a lot better if it was less sweet.
Double Strawberry Bingoo! It was great! Definetly double strawberry, I usually get plain flavors but was pleasantly surprised by the dessert. It was perfect for two to share but I'm confident I could have put it down myself! I recommend this as the location is super convenient! Didn't try the other flavors but they have a wide variety with half the menu more chocolate based. I do wish they had a mango though! Service was wonderful. We did notice things were sticky here though...
Cafe Moment has the prettiest decor. They have a few backdrops that would be perfect for the Instagram-able pic. They also have this Photo Booth by the entrance, which is a really cute idea. Their booths and tables are actually in the back down a short hallway past the front counter. They have a kiosk at the entrance of the short hallway where you can order (there are signs and arrows pointing you at the right direction). They have different kinds of cookies and pastries as well as all kinds of bottled/canned drinks along with their boba drinks. I ordered a Taro boba with less ice and a double chocolate cookie and smoked chocolate cookie. The taro boba was actually quite delicious. The cookies, I think, would be so much better warmed up cuz they're a tad bit dry. they would pair really well with any cafe drink. The cookies are actually quite big in portion.
Pretty solid dessert cafe! Located in the shopping center in chantilly with plenty of outdoor parking You order at the kiosk and pick up in the back as they call out your number. There's indoor seating as well in the back & lots of it. The space was bigger than I was thinking upon walking in. I got the strawberry cheesecake snowflake and this was pretty solid. They pack on the ice cream scope and cheese cake//strawberries which I appreciate. I do wish that they put some of the cornflakes on top that comes with this dish. However, you do have to kind of dig for it as they layered it. The middle and bottom. The strawberry syrup could be reduced a little bit as it was already very sweet from the vanilla ice cream. This was quite large and ice would say this could be a serving size for 3 to 4 people! Definitely will come back to try other dessert items on their menu and some of their other snowflake options.
Cafe Moment/ Who Seek is an interesting concept that seems to have transported a dessert shop in Asia and put it in the middle of Chantilly. Here are the issues I have with Who Seek. First of all, there is an overpowering smell of cleaning solution that emanates throughout the place. Something needs to change if the ambiance is about dessert and all things sweet. Second, the average dessert is way too big. Perhaps they are deadset on this being a group eating experience but something perhaps smaller and with less of a price point may not be the worst option.
What an absolute gem of a place. From the moment you walk in you are delighted with decor that is Instagram worthy. The front has a counter that showcases some desserts you could get but right next to it is a photo booth if you wanted to take some cute photos with your friends, loved ones, ect. Honestly I'm shocked that the back had ample space for seating. There's this 2D art style on one side of the wall that really feels like you walked into a cute comic book. I wish more places had this kind of aesthetic. The other wall showcases the various desserts that you can get too! I like the idea of having a kiosk to order your food and drinks on but there was really no one up front at all. It was really quiet going inside. I don't think it's a bad thing but I also don't expect cafes to be loud either. We got the Tiramisu Snowflake, Croffle and a Matcha Latte. I think any of the snowflakes are worth getting, and probably best if you took a picture with it too. Overall it looks great presentation wise. The tiramisu Snowflake was what I expected; hints of coffee with ice shavings and lots of chocolate drizzles. The matcha latte was really good but no art on it sadly. It did taste like matcha hot chocolate in some way and it was really good! The Croffle was nice, the ice cream complimenting the warm waffle with syrup underneath. Can't really go wrong with it. I think I will definitely back here for more future dessert trips! Chantilly has some really nice places!
charming dessert spot that left quite an impression with its well-decorated interiors and clean, tidy ambiance. The decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying a sweet treat. I ordered the Nutty Cheesecake Snowflake, and while the portion size was generous, I found it to be a bit overwhelming. The dessert was overloaded with walnuts, which overshadowed the cheesecake's flavor. Additionally, some of the nuts were bitter, which detracted from the overall experience.
The streak continues. This is yet another awesome Korean-owned cafe in Chantilly. The decor and vibe is young, clean, trendy (Instagram-able) and meant for friends to come hangout, or even get some work done on your laptop (although the music can be a bit loud). The food and drink options are vast and the space is big. The service is a bit slower/quieter but that be when it's only empty (not sure. Yes, I wish there were some windows and naturally light (it can feel a bit enclosed) and even some more activity (no one was there when I arrived), but I will be coming back. Prices are very reasonable!

Yummy and delicious! Sweet and honestly the atmosphere was beautiful and amazing. I appreciate the ability to just order off a screen and have our order being sent to be made in the back. Depending on the time and how busy it gets it does get difficult to hear your order being called. Overall a very pleasant experience. Would come back again if I'm ever in the area. read more

I really wanted to like this place. We were actually talking about it earlier and everyone was so excited to check it out. As fate would have it, dinner ended up being in the same shopping center, at Taste of Korea. We have dinner and the whole time I'm staring at a GIANT stand display advertising WHO SEEK. Not only was it advertising it but touting a discount. I don't eat too much, anticipating dessert. Now if you know me, I am not much a dessert fan but I do enjoy a good bingsoo and instagram-able ambiance. We walk in, walk in to check out the back and to my surprise... I was not blown away. I was with some family and almost wanted to go elsewhere but we stuck with it. We order some drinks bc the bingsoo didn't impress me too much. The toppings seemed a bit lacking so maybe I should have given the benefit of the doubt but I think we were all on the same page. We got a some classics such as a iced mocha, milk boba, and an iced sweet potato latte with soy milk. We take our buzzer and sit in the back. We sit on a white couch and the tables are dirty so we chose the cleanest one. There is water so you can help yourself to that along with straw. I couldn't help but notice all the scruff marks and hair everywhere so if you're a germaphobe... not going to be your favorite. We try our drinks and the mocha is super sweet with hardly any coffee taste, boba is not bad, and the sweet potato latte was very underwhelming. To add to the experience, the girl who rang up seemed like she was going to apply the 10% discount for dining at taste of korea and then suddenly says they don't honor it anymore. That's ok but was it that hard to apply? I hope they take down the sign at taste of korea bc we saw another group that had dined there as well. Last but what's up with the smell? When you walk into the back part, it does not smell like you'd want to enjoy a dessert there. Also the loud humming noise? What was that about? Hidden gem! You order on the kiosk and select for here or to go. When food is ready, they'll call your number & you're all set. Food/Drinks only about 5 - 10 mins. They have a photo booth and the flower & grass walls make for perfect pictures. Everything was delicious! read more
Honestly it's more 3.5 stars. 2 star for Bingsoo and 5 star for interior. It's a very chic space with Instagrammable interior. I loved the concept here. There's also a secret door in the back. Don't be fooled by the small front space. Check it out! However, the bingsoo was a little disappointing. Not only did it come out in a very tiny bowl, the ingredients weren't original. The green tea ice cream didn't taste anything like green tea. The red bean and small mochi seemed store bought from Lotte or some other asian wholesaler. I'm not sure if I'd come back because I value the quality of food more than anything for a restaurant/café. It's a good place to go at least once though. A mix of aesthetic cafe vibes and delicious gigantic desserts! Haven't been here since their first few years of opening, so it was great seeing an expanded menu and new decor. If you're a first-timer, definitely recommend trying their snowflake, cubed toast, or croffle desserts, and be prepared to have your camera ready because they'll look amazingggg! read more

I really like the cute vibe of this cafe! The self-order kiosks are so nice and the orders come out pretty fast. They have a good system of front for carry out and back for dine in. The bingsoo is so good always and my brother is becoming obsessed with croffles. One thing I will say is that their WiFi is pretty spotty which is a bit disappointing because I think a lot of people like to do their work in cafes like this. However, the seating area is cute and I want this business to stay open so I say five stars read more

For some reason this dessert shop has rebranded itself from "who seek" to "Cafe Moment" but the menu has basically stayed the same. They take orders through a kiosk and the food will be served from the back of the shop where you can retrieve your desserts through a window. A lot of variety in dessert offerings ranging from shaved ice (bingsoo) to sweet toasts, and plenty of seating with a lot of cute decor all around. Taste it wasn't anything special, and it is a bit annoying that you can't talk to an employee directly - the only times you'll see them are the few times they pop out of the kitchen to serve your order through the window. read more

It reminds me of a speakeasy. +Korean snowflake desserts and other "tea time" options available. +Plenty of parking and spacious dining area, great for small groups. -The place smells like a sewer when you first walk in, even with the two large Coway air purifiers running. -No loyalty rewards program. -The soybean snowflake ($12.00) did not have a lot of misu powder on , and was overly sweet for my significant other foodie and my liking. read more
I saw this place on the HypeFoodies IG and stopped by after realizing it was close to home. Everything looked awesome in the video and didn't disappoint in real life. We showed up right as they were supposed to open but as we were driving away, someone flipped the sign add unlocked the door. We ordered honey dew boba, two snowflakes, and a milkshake. The place was dead inside and we were the only people there but it's decorated really well and is pretty cool. The food came out and was awesome. My kids loved it and so did my wife and I. I was really excited to try this place out! The photo's of the food online looks so good. Sometimes you just get that desert craving and you want something colorful with good textures. I really like how when you walk in they have it like a bakery low counter-top with glass separating where the patrons stand and the counter behind it. Only instead of bakery items, you see plasma screens with photo's of the various menu items you can order behind the glass. I ordered the waffle with nutella and banana. I was excited to try it as the picture looked amazing at the front bar. Once you order they give you a pager. If you walk to the left you see three, two people booths. If you keep walking forward the automatic doors open up into a bright room filled with modern Ikea furniture. Here you can wait for your food and sit and chat with your friends. When your food is ready your buzzer rings and the half door opens up from the kitchen and they yell out your order. I really liked the atmosphere and the design of this place! When I got the food I was super disappointed. The waffle was just dense and had no flavor. It looked a lot smaller than in the photo as well. After a couple of bites with the waffle I gave up and just ate the bananas off the top and placed the remaining waffle in the area designated for done dishes. Overall I really like the theme of a desert bar and the cool, almost speak easy atmosphere in the back. I wish they would work on quality of food a bit more, as I've experienced much better waffles. read more

Super cute cafe! I went with my friends and we ordered the strawberry cheesecake bingsoo with an extra scoop of ice cream on top. --Definitely a very filling mid-day snack!! I think the amount given is perfect for a party of 3-4 people. I enjoyed the sweet strawberries and crunchy cereal that they top it with (the opposing textures makes it 2x better!!). I wouldn't get this specific flavor again though since the texture of the cheesecake cubes were somewhat grainy and dense. I would also opt out of adding the extra scoop of ice cream, since it takes away from the refreshing shaved ice and becomes a bowl of cream.. The overall atmosphere of the cafe is very cute and picture-friendly. I liked how the seats and walls were decorated with hand-painted/drawn accents. I'd would definitely stop by again to try out the different flavors and to check out the other items on the menu. read more

Love the concept of this spot. Modern black front area where you order your food and drinks, then you head towards a "bookcase" and it opens up to a another sleek white & pink themed lounge/cafe that definitely made the spot ig / instagramable. WiFi pw is posted up so it would be a relaxing spot to hang out and work if you wanted to. I was craving matcha and mochi so I ordered the matcha snow while the little guy got a strawberry smoothie with boba. The "premium" smoothie was made with real fruit and wasn't too sweet which made it yummy and tart which my son loved. It was pretty pricey at ~$7, I'm used to paying around 5 for real fruit smoothies with boba and there wasn't anything special about this one. The matcha snow was fantastic! Light and fluffy snow, matcha ice cream, red bean, mochi bits and even bean filled mochi... Totally worth the $13 and enough to share between 2-3 people. Definitely would come back to try the other snows! read more

If you're in the area, got a sweet tooth and want to add a twist. Who seek is different in a fun way. All the desserts look amazing. Staff polite and you order comes out quickly. I got the strawberry cheesecake snow. One word, wow! The size is huge so for the price, I think you get your money worth. It's a great mix of ice cream, fresh strawberries,.... "Snow". You have to try it to understand the snow part. read more
I'm from out of state so I was in the mood for some dessert and found this cute little place. I checked on yelp through all the pictures and what caught my eyes was the white room and green plants around the tables. So once when I came in I was very surprised to see the front of the store completely different. The interior was black and it just has front counter. There was two extra tables on the side of the counter and a door. I first thought the door was just for employees only and I was confused why the yelp pictures look different. It wasn't until I asked the lady to use the restroom and walk to the back of the door. The door automatically opened for me and there it was, the white room. There was actually quite amount of people there. The bathroom was definitely cool. It has these neon lights on the wall and attached to the mirror. Which adds a little fun to it. The dessert itself is pretty good. We got the strawberry snow ($12.40)I was surprised how big the portion was. I can probably feed up to four people. I like how they add the different crackers and desert on top of the ice cream. The snow was pretty soft flaky which it supposed be like that. I'm pretty happy with my choice and someone who isn't a resident can recommend this place to others. read more

Was really craving bingsoo when I found this place. The interior is very cute and aesthetic. Great place to come with a couple of friends. The tables have a weird sticky touch to them despite being clean, but that might just be me being sensitive to my environment. Overall, the bingsoo was pretty good. It wasn't WOW THE BEST but it quenched my bingsoo craving nicely. I also got the Thai tea which I DON'T recommend at all because they put toooo much milk into it, it tasted straight up like milk, there was no "Thai Tea" element to it. read more
Who Seek: for those who seek adventure and good desserts! When my friends told me that this place was with great Instagram aesthetics, I was shocked when I walked in that it was just a small cafe with a black wall. My response: "that's it??" But they urged me to to keep walking down the hallway which I was responded with "there's nothing but some seats...womp womp... WOOOOOOOW" Such a clever name and theme to be carried on to the shop in itself. I loved being pleasantly surprised, finding the hidden speakeasy at the end of the dark and narrow hallway. The bingsoo I ordered was ordinary compared to its other Korean bingsoo counterparts in the DMV area. But the experience was well worth it for me! So glad this dessert shop is in Chantilly! Located right beside Taste of Korea. If you eat there and bring your receipt at Who Seek, you get 20% off your total. If you check-in on Yelp, you can also get 20 % off any honey butter cube. Upon entering, you will immediately see their bright picture menu. The cashiers are very kind and welcoming. You can order drinks to go but their desserts cannot be prepared to go. They will give you a buzzer, once your order is ready it will be handed to you at their pick up window. One you first step into the dessert shop, at first it doesn't look like there is much seating. Just 3 smaller booths, but you will see a bookcase as well. Walk closer to the bookcase and you will discover that it's a sliding door leading you to another room with more seating. Love the decor of the ambiance. It's perfect for meeting up for some dessert and good conversation. Their desserts are excellent! We really enjoyed the apple pie honey butter cube and strawberry snowflake. Nothing was overly sweet and the consistency was on point. The apple pie honey butter cube had warm and toasty pieces of bread with cool creamy vanilla ice cream on the side. It had a nice apple pie flavor to it. The shaved ice in the strawberry snowflake was lovely. It was smooth and fluffy. I appreciate that it didn't have hard ice crystals in it. Paired with cheesecake, cookies, and a scoop of creamy strawberry ice cream. Perfection! Their drinks are wonderful too. I love that more mom and pop shops are opening up in Chantilly :D read more

My husband who has a massive sweet tooth loves it here. I go to nibble. The sitting area in the back is looking a bit over used now. The place is clean. You pick up the dessert at the counter and after you are done you have to clean up after yourself. Overall a great dessert place. read more
While I'm not a fan of the name (specifically the spelling), I am a fan of this cafe/dessert place. At first I was very unimpressed with the 3 booths capable of sitting 6 people. Definitely, not the the kind of place to hang out. That is, until you realize the sliding door on the back wall isn't just a cover for a bathroom or closet, but the gateway into a clean, cozy lounge where you can actually enjoy your desserts. The decor is decidedly modern, and I LOVE the fact that they have an extra sink on the outside of the bathroom. Not only does it promote cleanliness, but it's more convenient too. Not that there was anything wrong with the bathrooms. On the contrary, it was immaculate. And the cool neon light thing on the bathroom wall makes taking care of business just as enjoyable as polishing off every bit of your dessert. As far as the food, the honey bread, I just don't get, but my wife LOVES it. The bing-soo...my taste buds excite, but shaved milk is not a gastro delight. I'm not sure the menu lends itself to me being a regular here, but I certainly could highly recommend it. read more

I feel like I've betrayed Tammy (Magnolia owner lol) coming here but this place is almost as good as Magnolia. Only better things are the wait since it's pretty new, the location is closer to me, and I enjoyed their Honey Toast more because they cut up the toast into bite size. The decor is Veeryyy interesting. When you enter, it's a very dark black tiled room. You order at the front and then go to the back. The back seemed smol like 3 booths, but you're supposed to approach the sliding door. AND IT JUST OPENS AUTOMATICALLY AND YOU ARE BLINDED BY THE WHITE ROOM. It was like opening the gates to heaven LMAO. I like the aesthetic they were going for: modern, very bright and white with accents of colors, and cute little decor. It was almost like an art gallery vibe. Unfortunately, I do not like artificial lighting. IT was too harsh and bright in my opinion, but I'm sure people like that. I really enjoyed the matcha Honey Butter Toast. It was very sweet and the toast was HEAVEN. So warm.... so creamy..... so crispy..... The bingsoo/snowflake was good but just ok. I didn't think they had enough drizzle. Magnolia much better. Things are a little cheaper here tho. Overall, I still prefer Magnolia but this is a good backup/option!!! read more
Thanks to Yelp for this find!! Was trying to find something open after 8:30pm for my girlfriends and I to hang out and this was perfect. I wasn't sure what to expect with the honey butter bread but it's yummy, cubed white bread toasted and drizzled with honey, light, airy, and crunchy. I got it with matcha ice cream. Google maps gave me really bad directions, it's right next to Aldi and Taste @Hong Kong. You even get to walk through a 'secret' door to more seating, see pictures. I can't wait to go back! I just hope their AC is fixed by then. read more
I really like the concept design for this place. Once you walk in, it has a black interior; however, when you place your order and walk through the automatic door, is this very white aesthetically pleasing place. The decor is very simple, fresh, and super cute. Great place to take cute food pictures with your friend. This place is a little bit on the pricier side of things. My friend and I ordered the coffee honey toast and passion fruit drink. The passion fruit drink was very refreshing and was carbonated!!! It was also not overwhelmingly sweet. Our order was made wrong and they accidentally made the coffee bingsoo instead, but they were really nice about it and gave my friend and I the bingsoo and honey toast!! The bingsoo was okay in my opinion and nothing special about it. Also, you can get bingsoo somewhere else for cheaper. The coffee honey toast, on the other hand, was super good!! The toast were cut up into cubes, which made it easier to eat! It was crispy, buttery, and sweet!!! Not sure where the coffee flavor came from cause they only had coffee beans on it for that "coffee aspect." Just save a buck and get the honey toast instead!!! read more

Loving the interior-- as soon as you walk in, there are three large screens that have the menu. There is a long hallway that's painted black and then it leads to the main sitting area which contrasts to a bright white room. I ordered the chocolate waffles which are definitely cute to look at, nothing out of the ordinary-- just tastes like waffles. Wish the waffles were a bit softer. Also ordered the blueberry yogurt drink and strawberry yogurt drink and a caramel macchiato. All of the drinks were pretty good so no complaints there. The place is still fairly new so as of now, you cant to-go any desserts. I was trying to bring back a dessert for my mom to try but they do not have to go boxes yet. Definitely a cute place to go check out with family or friends. The staff are super friendly which is a plus and here is limited seating and when I went on a Sunday night, it was poppin. Will be going back to try all their other menu items. read more
