Came for lunch during the week. Some tables are cooler then others the way the air blows. You may actually need a coat. We had to move tables. The food at the other location has always been great and this was the same. We shared some plates. Are server was attentive. I believe they close at 2 or 2:30. There's plenty of parking. Its close to the NYS assembly offices where my son works and was a good place to meet where he could come in lunch hour.

New Monday - new breakfast spot: Cafe Madison, easy to read menu.

Got breakfast here the other morning. I do recommend it. Large portions. The queso was inedible, it was spoilt. Other than that, the place makes mean breakfast/lunch fare. It has a colorful ambience. Staff is happy and helpful in a frolicking way. Either eat bar side or at a table. Breakfast runs: $10 - $20. Cafe Madison does it right! Review: 5

Pumpkin Spiced Pancakes
Madison G.

We stopped here for breakfast on our journey north. So glad we found this gem - we had a great experience! The server was very helpful in giving suggestions and making sure everyone's coffee was always filled. I had one of their seasonal specials - pumpkin spice pancakes. These things were DELICIOUS! Pancakes spiced with pumpkin spice, vanilla mascarpone cream cheese, white chocolate chips, caramel drizzle. They were everything I could have asked for and more! The only reason I am subtracting a star is because their bathrooms were a little ick. Overall, I would absolutely return here for breakfast or brunch!

Snickers Coffee

Came for brunch with a group and had a great time. The place was a little busy but that's to be expected. Was able to get photos of my items and not the others. The snickers coffee was a great boozy breakfast drink. Very strong pours and certainly didn't need another! I was happy with the omelette although the onions were not fully caramelized to my liking and I never got the cheese sauce I requested but nonetheless a great meal. Absolutely love the option of a croissant in place of toast. Will definitely be back with a smaller group as space was at a premium.

Will definitely try again , quality is everything. The baconnn so good ( real bacon eater) mimosas will get you there!! Lol

The Stack. That top layer had cinnamon sugar sprinkled on...mmmmm. I'll ask for crispy bacon, though, next time.

Such a nice surprise! I did not know about this second site, and they told me the original was going to be renovated and enlarged. Our meals were wonderful: I literally think this was the best French toast I've ever had! The "Stack." French toast layered with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. I could only eat about a quarter of it, but the leftovers were delicious again later! Service was excellent, noise level: 4 of 5. Many hard surfaces escalating the sounds. Decor was "modern industrial clever!" Dining outdoors wasn't available the day we were there, but soon...

We needed a lunch spot while driving west. Cafe Madison fit the bill perfectly! The decor is bright, airy, and a little quirky - super fun! The staff was quick to take care of us and very cheery. Our food was exactly what we hoped for, plus yummy fries.

French Toast Stacker

Great food, great service and easy parking. I love the French toast stacker. It has everything I would want for breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, ham in between three thick slices of cinnamon raisin French toast. It can feed 2-3 people easily or take home for leftovers. The flavor is so good and it's worth $16. There are some new restaurants that opened around and charge the same or more for something that is half of this. It is always busy whenever we go on the weekends.

I thought to take the pic after I sprinkled some seasoning on the eggs.Toast was fine.

They seasoned the onions and added on top of the home fries but they didn't season the eggs. The home fries were the little square SEASONED processed potatoes. The corn beef came from a can, which I don't mind but it was gritty. The eggs were perfect in looks and fluffiness but bland. The toast was fine.

Ask the Community - Cafe Madison

Would they be good for breakfast for a 9 month old baby? Do they have high chairs?

Yes and yes. I recently brought my entire family, including our nine month old boy who ate everything from fresh avocado, berry pancakes, fruit, and oatmeal.

Decided to give a try. The place is a total vibe, dont let the outside and area fool you! It had been a long day by the time we got here, did the outlets all day long and I was coming down with a cold. Ordered a ton of apps, Crab rangoon dip is GOOOOOODDDD!!!!... Ordered Calamari that apparently I didnt get a pic of, but It was good also. I think we got wings, but I truly cant remember. I got the risotto, I didnt love it but the Shrimp were delish, it had a super strong after taste flavor that I didnt love but couldnt truly put my finger on, Hubby said his pasta was good, but just needed "something". Would def go back just not sure how often we'd be in the area. Drink menu was super extensive and they were great as well. Started to feel not well and literally had to take our food to go, the waitress was soo concerned and caring, it was great, and it was no fault of the food or theirs, I think it was just whatever cold I was coming down with that kicked my ass and I felt like I was going to pass out, sorry TMI... But the response was so nice and accommodating from the staff. Def worth a try, just be patient with parking, it was slightly chaotic, or that night we just happened to encounter all the people in the are who couldnt drive in tight spaces, LOL!

The wine by the glass list was limited and fifty percent was vegan. I ordered the Mosen German Reisling which is more sweet than I prefer but there were no other options. My guy ordered a brown beer on tap, i'm unsure the name. We started with appetizers crab rangoon dip with crispy delicious wonton chips. And the second mozzarella eggrolls. I would pass on the eggrolls im the future. The motz is advertised smoked but lacked a smoky flavor. The Harissa had the spice level simular to Heinz ketchup. My entree was a Cuban sandwich that did deliver some heat, well pressed with plenty of pickles. We would love to see a wider wine selection and a turn up on the spice and flavor for the appetizers.

For Tuesday dinner, the place was not packed at all and had great Caribbean music playing to help set the mood. We ordered the jerk chicken wings appetizer, and entrees of curried goat and Ox Tail. The wings were fall off the bone marinated chicken with a heavenly host of flavors that were spiced nice with not too much heat (would've posted pictures but they were devoured). The curried goat had a beautiful aroma and bouquet of curry flavors but was also not over powered with spicy heat. And the Ox Tail...... drool worthy, savory, tender, and stewed with love and effection. We both shared sides of coconut rice and steamed cabbage which were perfectly complements to our dishes. Dessert was a maple cornbread that made me believe my aunt Barbra was back there cheffing.. Will definitely return!! And will spread the gospel of Good Religion far and wide.

I add that point because if you know New Orleans food, you'll know how discerning native New Orleanians are about food - period. Upon arrival to Good Religion, I was a little shocked by the look and it being in NY; however, I am accustomed to good food from unassuming places. I will admit I am not a fan of buffets, but Good Religion is more than a buffet, it's your auntie's kitchen. There is a difference!

The fries are actually seasoned nicely, and the chicken tenders are pretty large. Since most of what they do is fried, I wouldn't recommend ordering delivery unless you understand that those items will get soggy when they spend time in packaging on their way to you. A wrap, sandwich, or salad might make it to you alright, but not chips or fries. Everyone has been friendly. Decent bar food.

Typically the food comes in a sealed "Uber eats" paper bag, to provide the sense of security to know your delivery driver hasn't tampered with the food. This order came in a regular plastic shopping bag. I ordered an Italian mix sub which according to their menu includes "lettuce tomato onion," it didn't come with any veggies on it. Just meat bread and mayonnaise. The meat was warm and the bun was like biting into an old sun scorn foam pool toy. The fries that came with it were soggy and cold, just how everyone likes them... Also ordered a buff chick wrap, this was actually pretty good. Also ordered fries with that and was pleasantly surprised to find off brand potato chips soaking up the moisture from the steam trapped in the container. Doing great. The onion rings were actually delicious, and hot, probably cooked after everything else as the delivery was on its way out. Uber eats is also known for being very fast, I placed my order at 8, was supposed to arrive by 830, didn't show up til 9. Not a huge deal just noteable. Overall I would advise to spend your money elsewhere because these people clearly don't care about the quality of their food or service.
