Smoked salmon crepe

Awe! So good! We visited from out of town. We liked this so much we will go back each time we're in town. The service was good and prompt. The food was stellar. The citrus crepe was our favorite.

A hidden gem! I've driven by this for 3 years and never knew it existed, and found it today on a map search for breakfast and brunch. The staff was friendly, and the owner served me who was also nice. Don't be intimidated by their menu, it's basically omelets with optional French sauce, stuffed croissants, savory crepe and sweet crepes. Savory crepes are popular in Europe and I believe becoming more popular in the USA as my small hometown has a restaurant that serves them. I ordered a croissant stuffed with bacon, spinach, and cheese; it comes with an egg that I opted not to have for dietary reasons and requested Bri cheese instead of Swiss. It was DELICIOUS! Bacon was cooked perfect, cheese and spinach were tasty and the croissant flaky and amazing! I highly recommend the stuffed croissants. I also ordered a citron crepe and wasn't sure what to expect as I've never had a lemon crepe. I usually go for more filling with berries or Bannanas and Nutella (they have these too on the menu). The crepe was very tasty and refreshing but you have to love lemons and sugar... which I do. I opted to drink water, but imagine their sweet crepes probably pair well with their cappuccino or American coffee. My bill for both items totaled $19.62 for a price point reference.

We came for brunch and it was packed...waited a while to get a table to but it was totally worth it! This place is truly French...multiple servers were speaking French to each other and it was lovely to hear. I got a cappuccino and it was fantastic. So foamy and dusted with the perfect amount of cocoa. My companion got the quiche of the day and I had a crepe filled with spinach, goat cheese, and red pepper. Our server informed us that crepe was a new addition to the menu and I am glad they added it! The flavors were perfect together. We also split a plain croissant and a classic sucre crepe for dessert. The crepe...drool. So good! I wanted to try everything. Definitely give this place a visit. Merci, Café Gourmand!

Croque madame & latte

We had a wonderful breakfast here! It was easy to get in to this French cafe on a Sunday morning. I highly recommend the Croque Madame. My husband had the Brussels waffle which was deliciously sweet! We both had a cup of vanilla latte with a thick foam on top. Really loved this place, great service, and the love put into everything they make. Will definitely try again the next time we're back in Naples!

Fantastic and authentic French fare. I had the 3 course Escargot, Duck à l'orange, and crème brûlée. The high chair was also the best we've used at a restaurant.

We popped into Cafe Gourmand for a quick breakfast before leaving for the airport. We ended up getting takeout but the place inside is fairly cute and just very simple. The staff and owner Sylvie were all so kind and we didn't need to wait long for our food. We had already made coffee at home so next time I'm in town I'll stop in for coffee to compare to the other local cafes but the food here was my favorite! I ordered a savory breakfast crepe "Complete" which came with ham, Swiss cheese, and a sunny side up egg - it was absolutely delish. My mom got an omelette with ham, tomatoes and spinach and Swiss and it was also very yummy / the breakfast potatoes on the side were average - a little lackluster but still solid. Alex and Liza both got sweet crepes, one blueberry and one Nutella with strawberry and banana and they both said it was good. Definitely my fav quick breakfast in Naples so far.

Broccoli and goat cheese quiche, nutella crepe, 2 eggs & bacon, berry crepe. Very good!

Cute little place! The staff is nice, the food is delicious! Comes out quick, too. I recommend any of their quiches- amazing. We had a very nice, peaceful brunch. Can't forget, the prices are very fair. Would 100% come back daily if I could.

Scallop and shrimp gratin

I hate to leave a review like this for a small Resturant but the experience was so bad I have to be honest. We decided to try this place for valentines day dinner and unfortunately it was highly disappointing. The prices for what you get just aren't good, these are downtown Miami prices for a Resturant in a strip center not even in heart of Naples. We started with salads and $13 for a salad this size it was a very small salad plate the same thing with my wife's beet salad she had was $15. Then the real issue started we sat here for almost 50 minutes between salad and entree. No one came over to say sorry kitchen is backed up or anything and even when the food was finally delivered no apologies or mention of how long it took. At this point it was past 8pm so the Resturant had cleared out. My wife's dish was decent flavor wise, she had the scallop and shrimp gratin the sauce had good flavor. The scallops were gritty which means they need to be cleaned better, and the shrimp were salad shrimp super small. I had the beef bourguignon which was very disappointing it tasted like a cheap crock pot, pot roast. The broth was runny and not thick and rich like other dishes I have had. It was bland and had hardly any mushrooms or onion zero bacon. It didn't even taste like it was a red wine sauce just runny water based sauce. The portion was small and the flavors were disappointing. This was maybe a $60 meal and it cost almost $120 plus tip. I was still hungry after we left and had to eat something else when we got home. This was by far the most disappointing meal I have had since moving to Florida. Really ruined valentines day for me.

Wow, what an awesome French restaurant. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, and I've always been pleased. Their breakfast selection is anywhere from bacon and eggs, to delicious crepes or pastries. The staff and proprietor are very pleasant and helpful.

Our server was an older woman and not sure if she was having a bad day or what, but it showed. We had coffee, a cappuccino (that they charged as a double), Americano, but no french coffee -nothing made with a french press. Yes they have crepes but no beignets nor anything similar. (Thought they were french‍) anyway hubby had decent meal and mine needed mustard and there was none, not even grey poupon lol there was no mustard in the entire restaurant. Like wth?! Oh well they're French in name only. Oh and watch your bill, they over billed two teens on their meal and luckily one of them was smart enough to review his receipt and "she apologized" and they charged me a double when I didn't ask for it and it was definitely not a double espresso, so review before you pay.

We also got the goat cheese quiche, the lobster benedict, the pineapple crepe, the lobster crepe, and the Nutella crepe. We also got orange juice and coffee. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was great. The quiche was rich and creamy, the Benedict was perfect and filled with lobster and a great hollandaise sauce. The crepes were good, but the Nutella crepe could have had some kind of filling. The lobster crepe was filled with lobster as well, so definitely good quality. The egg and cheese croissant was good as well, a the potatoes that came with the orders were delicious. The portions were all great, and the service was excellent. The second day, I ordered a create your own omelette with mushroom and Brie and subbed my side with a croissant, as well as a baked brie croissant, the western crepe with turkey, the salmon crepe, the lobster omelette, the tatin waffle, and a lemon strawberry crepe. All of the entrees were good as well. The crest your own omelette was a great value, especially with a croissant. The Brie croissant was delicious, as were all the crepes and the waffle. The homemade béchamel in the western crepe was amazing. The lobster omelette was good as well, but could have used some cheese or creamy sauce. Other than that, loved everything and would definitely come here again.
