Finally found decent modern craft coffee in Naples! I've just realized I am not a European style coffee gal. This place does European style pastries, the blueberry scones was fluffy and moist, not overly sweetened. And then the coffee was fresh and delicious! The foam was well done and the seasonal menu was unique and creative! With "sticky mango rice latte". I got a reg cappuccino and blueberry scone so I can't say how the seasonal menu tasted but I needed to give props for creativity! Also the service was great. Super friendly staff! read more

This was one of my favorite coffee stops while in Naples! The fact that it was open on Sunday was a big plus; it's nestled in a shopping area but easy to find. There isn't a ton of indoor seating but there was plenty of outdoor seating. The service was good, and our food and drinks were ready in a short period of time. My mocha was so delicious, and the breakfast burrito was also tasty. They had a fun assortment of merchandise and I bought a sticker sheet. Everything on the menu looked good and if we ever find ourselves in Naples we will absolutely be back to try more! read more

If you're in the Naples area of town, there are a few options but none better than Black Letter. Although most of the tourists here order basic b!tch drinks, the staff knows how to make a great coffee drink should you decide to venture out on something like a Honey Lavender Latte. The Breakfast Croissant w/egg, cheese and bacon is quite possibly the best breakfast sandwich I have ever ordered from a coffee shop. There are ample tables outside on the patio with umbrellas, public restrooms nearby and WiFi. The only suggestion I have is to put the names of the pastries in the pastry display case. It seemed to slow down the ordering process when every customer is pointing and asking "what's that?". Still, the staff was gracious and energetic in their explanations of the pastries nobody ended up buying. read more

Great boboa tea. They use popping boboa pearls which I like a lot better than the tapioca boboa pearls. The gentlemen working were so friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them. We learned about their family & the history of their coffee. Great place! read more

Came to here learn that this establishment came under new management. I ordered a strawberry Nutella crepe, a apple turnover and two iced coffees. Now I will say that this place still maintains the ambiance that I came to like from the original owners. And since they are still new, I will give them the benefit of the doubt when I say that the crepe was very doughy and soggy with chocolate. It was still very good, but not what I was expecting based on previous experiences. However, I do believe that this place is in good hands and will definitely get better with time. We found this by accident and were so pleasantly surprised. The coffee was delicious. They even put a Chocolate covered espresso bean on top of the cup which we thought was such a great touch. The staff was great and the food we had was so good as well. I had the avocado toast and my husband had a breakfast sandwich. They had several kinds of milk alternatives. I decided to come in today for the first time in a while to get a strawberry crepe and add Nutella since they no longer offer the strawberry and Nutella one. I used to come all the time when it was named Le Petit and it was wonderful. The two times I have come since they changed to Black Letter the portions have gotten smaller and smaller for the same price point, not to mention I have to pay more since the Nutella is an add-on now, which is fine. Not to mention the small size, the crepe was also very tough. I broke the plastic fork they gave me trying to cut it, and when I got home and used actual silverware a butter knife was still having trouble cutting through. Overall, I don't think the crepes are worth it for the charge anymore. read more

Very cute little cafe tucked in beautiful Villages of Venetian Bay. I had a large iced latte which was excellent and then I had a savory crepe with ham, Swiss, tomato, avocado, greens, and a curry sauce. It was very good, they served it with a little side sales and balsamic dressing with wood silverware. They were playing 80's music which I love so it was a nice touch. Absolutely awful experience. I ordered a savory crepe. It took forever to come and we were not even in the high of Naples Season. Then when I got the crepe it was missing the Swiss cheese and dry as could be. I went inside to tell the guy behind the counter and he says, "let me ask the chef, I think we forgot the cheese". The chef then adds one slice of Swiss cheese and does not warm it up to melt. I then say, "did he just plop a piece of cheese on there". Yes, that was the answer so the chef then puts the crepe back in the oven, the cheese barely melts and they say, "there you go". Would never go back! This place used to be amazing, but it is horrible now. I could make a better breakfast at home. My husband also ordered the breakfast burrito and it too was horrible and dry. read more

My worst coffee experience ever. This place is so disorganized, poorly run and the coffee is tasteless. We ordered 2 mocha coffees and had to wait over 20 minutes for our order to be made. There was a single person working at the counter who was also the barista. He waited for 15 orders to stack up before he started making a single cup of coffee. While making the coffee, he was visibly rushed and frustrated. Amazingly, all the customers stayed patient, polite and understanding. When we finally got our coffee, we can hardly taste any coffee or chocolate flavor. It just tasted like diluted milk. Yuk! We both dumped it in the trash. What a disappointment. Fun little cafe I always swing by with my wife ever time we come down. I've had the spinach crepe as well as some of the Nutella ones and they're all pretty good, my wife gets the spinach croissant, not my top pick but she likes them. Black Letter was once our favorite breakfast Cafe with freshly made eggs and cheese warmly melted on a lovely croissant. Now owners have obviously adopted a low cost business model while retaining top quality prices. They now serve a thick pre-made egg cake with cheese. The cheese was not melted and the egg cake was cold in the middle. Even the plastic fork was cheap. (I had to use the fork to try to cut my croissant since no fork was offered but the fork splintered into my salad. They were kind enough to offer a refund bur that misses the point. Venetian Village is not a place to have a Cafe whose offering does not measure up to fast food. read more

This is a really cute cafe located in Venetian Village. New owners have gone above and beyond to tweak exsisting items and create new ones. They clearly care so I have high expectations for the new items they're coming out with. My husband loved the coffee and strawberry Nutella crepe and there's a lot of cute shops nearby so it's a good place to grab some breakfast and walk around. My favorite is the spinach croissant, I'm craving one as I type this. It has scrambled egg, Swiss cheese, spinach and cream cheese on it and it is delicious. Also the honey croissant is very good too, but the spinach takes the cake for me. Overall very good and will be back! read more

Off of Park Shore Drive lives a small, refined, and tasty french café within a space of small boutiques and jewelry shops. My experience (2021) was safe, quick, and an elegant time. These menu items reflect off of traditional french cuisine through soft crepes and flaky buttery croissants as well as sweet options for their crepes. They carry a small variety of french soft drinks; a must have for a french experience. Wines, cocktails, beers, espresso drinks, and coffee: This place is small, but their food packs a big punch. I personally ordered the savory Smoked Salmon Crepe, accented with thinly sliced avocado, red onion, and a bright creamy chive cream to bring a beautiful balance. They offer this in a Stuffed Croissant option, as well as a sandwich with your choice of either white or whole grain toast and either swiss, american, or cheddar. I must make a small nod of appreciation towards their side salad. great choice for greens, and the one thing i thought stood out with this is their balsamic vinaigrette; it is reminiscent of a slightly thicker glaze, although it doesn't have the overwhelming taste of balsamic which i prefer, because it can easily mask the taste of great greens. and don't forget their endless mimosas Saturday and Sunday from 11-2PM.
