Clean place. Very limited menu but super good. We drove from far way and enjoyed the pork in the ramen. Iced Thai tea was good too! read more

Cafe Dazzling - Tonkaso Basic Ramen - Ramen Near Me - Tracy, California

We've been coming here for about 4 years now. The service today was the best we had--a tall, handsome younger guy with a well groomed beard (I think his name was Amar) helped us briefly. He wasn't our waiter and only helped us by bringing the check, but I was truly impressed with the hospitality and resilience he showed while waiting for the people around us. He greeted everyone with a smile and was running around trying to accommodate everyone as efficiently as he could, even more so since he was the only person working the dining area. Another man that worked there was mopping the floor, and Amar hurriedly walked past it and accidentally slipped. He jumped right up and still continued to treat patrons around us with kindness and and an eagerness to help. However...my 3 star rating is due to the quality of my husband's crepe. Every time we come in and he gets a crepe, he orders it with extra Nutella. I don't know if they're rationing their Nutella supply or what, but this crepe had barely a smear of it and they charged us for the extra. read more

Great food and great service. We now have a new go to boba place in Tracy. I just wished we knew about this place sooner.

The food here is great! But the service is a huge hit or miss. I went with my sister and omg I'm like traumatized with going back. We went it ordered and got our food BOOM real quick. We ordered a hot pot and it comes with a side of rice. We're waiting on it, server comes and lets us know they ran out of rice but it's currently being remade we just gotta wait like another 10 minutes and it'll be ready. Okay fine. 10 mins pass and nothing. Another 10 and nothing. We start getting annoyed cuz the hot pot is still on and it's super hot. Our soup is basically boiling and my sisters dumplings disintegrated in the soup. Finally we get a server and ask them about the rice and they said still being made and in about 10 mins it should be ready. :/ we're like whatever can we turn this off and finally they do. We start getting annoyed cuz it's been another 10mins when another server clocks in starts to attend us. She's like I'll get the rice boom gets it we're eating a bit but now we've been here for almost over an hour we want to leave. We ask for boxes she disappears for 10mins. Comes back finally takes our soups and boxes it then says she'll get our bill and I kid you not almost 20mins go by. We were basically being held hostage is this goddamn ALMOST EMPTY store. Finally we get the bill we pay and DIP like Omgg...We waited for the bill JUST TO LEAVE we waited damn near 40 mins..AND IT WASNT EVEN PACKED LIEK?? read more

Decent hot pot, i always get their thai flavor hot soup, similar to tom yum flavor (: also like the fact that they have boba options and appetizers! read more

Great noodle soup and a great variety of boba tea, and smoothies. Service is good, and it's surprisingly inexpensive compared to other similar restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

No boba available till 12:30. Drinks are good still but unfortunately I can't go here for boba during lunchtime. I also got the popcorn chicken and it tasted like it had curry seasoning on it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't basil popcorn chicken as advertised. The garlic fries were too much. I don't think they use fresh garlic since the garlic has a very strong lemon flavor and looked like the jar minced garlic I get from Costco. The moisture from the garlic made the fries very soggy as well. read more

Some of the best food around. I enjoy their fruit crepes and my favorite drink is the iced earl grey black tea. Yum!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. The food is great and there's so many options. The guy that helped us today was so accommodating to my Vegan son. He went through the menu with different options so it was easy for my son to pick. And it was done in a timely matter. read more

I ordered the curry pot and my wife had the kimchi pot. The curry pot was flavorful and not to strong or salty, just the way I like it. The kimchi was ok but kinda bland. This place is definitely a once in awhile spot to visit. - hot pots are awesome! Enjoyed how it's warm throughout our dinner. read more

My family and I went there for dinner, it was slow but then it got very busy. They forgot the extra meat my husband requested and they didn't check on us if we needed anything. We had to constantly ask for attention. We were done eating and we asked for our crepes order we submitted at the beginning. We asked for a special accommodation on one of the crepes and they forgot. We waited for a long time to have the hot pots turned off. We asked for the check and the crepes still had not arrived. We were about to leave and the crepes were finally done, but our special request was not done. They gave us the crepes to go and rushed the packaging. This is our first and last time going to this place. read more

Love this place! I come to Tracy from SF for baseball tournaments and always looking for great food establishments. This is it if you love food to warm your soul. The curry, Taiwanese and Japanese hot pots are our favorites. There's free sweet tea with each hot pot order. They're very nice there too. I'll be back for sure! read more

Great hot pots and calamari most of the time (sometimes it's more batter than seafood) and the pricing keeps creeping little by little (thanks inflation lol) but overall pretty good read more

The service was great, but the soup lacked flavor. I love their chili oil. I ate it with the leftover rice.

Customer service was okay. However the food wasn't great. It made my stomach hurt for the rest of the night. If your looking for a better place to get hot pot or ramen. Just drive to Pleasanton or Livermore for better quality food. Never going back here after this horrible experience. Pretty sure I got food poisoning.. read more

We had cafe dazzling last night to-go and it was really great. We have had it in store before but of course with COVID we have not had it in a while. We were worried with us not having easy access with all the spices that it would not be the same, but it sure was! Love it, thank you! read more

This place is so cute! They have velvet fur chairs that tie the whole place together. My friend and I shared a curry hot pot. It also came with either black tea or green tea, we got the green tea and it was so sickly sweet we couldn't even drink it. Ask for it unsweetened if you can. Once we got the hot pot we had to wait a couple minutes after the waiter blew out the candle because it was literally boiling hot! The broth was suuper yummy and the fish balls were my favorite! They had huge slices of tomatoes, though which I thought was weird and so did my friend. They also serve boba! My friend got taro - and she liked it and I got regular milk tea which was good. What was weird was that mine was served in to-go cup while my friend had it in a glass...i never asked for it be in a to-go lol. The service honestly was pretty sucky, we never once got asked how the food was or if we wanted to light up the candle underneath to warm the hot pot. My other friend got ramen and she said she really enjoyed it. Will come back to try all the other hot pot flavors they have. read more

I ordered a Shoyu ramen with extra chashu pork the other day, and let me say that this is probably the best place to get ramen in town. Very savory broth, the egg included was boiled just right, and the chashu pork was tender and delicious. I finished every drop! The reason this is not a perfect 5-star review, however, is because wait times for to-go orders take pretty long, and the phone number listed on-line wasn't working so we had to go there ourselves to place an order. The wait was about 30 minutes, but we were understanding as it is a popular restaurant and seemed understaffed. The plastic bowl that had my ramen in it had a crack in both the lid and bowl itself, so some of the broth leaked out onto the napkins. Overall, this will still be my go-to in town for ramen! read more

I like this place, excellent food, I love their veggie soup, very good customer service, highly recommend this place.

Cool spot to chill with friends and enjoy a tea. I ordered a Thai iced tea large. The cup it came in was very cool, large and easy to hold. The tea itself was ok. I wish they had more options for teas. My friends ordered ramen and other bites and said it was good. The atmosphere is nice trendy and clean. We hung out for several hours and caught up. They have fun games to play while your there to keep you entertained and run net flicks shows on the tvs. Wish they could show the game. The service was very good, they were all very attentive and kind. This is a place that has a ton of potential and I think can really grow. I enjoyed hanging out and felt relaxed the whole time. I enjoyed the service and atmosphere. They just Need more tea selections. read more

I think that the food and drinks they present are good, but the customer service can...use some work. I had a worker named Calvin take my orders, and I asked for a Lychee Rose Green Tea, and he told me that they don't mix flavors. I asked him, "Isn't it just syrup? Can't you just mix the two?" and he said that he could but he wouldn't be able to replace the drink for me... Any DECENT boba place will allow you to change a drink a customer isn't satisfied with. Not happy with the way he approached my order. Guaranteed, I'm not returning here. Regardless if a place is good or not, customer service makes all the difference. In terms of food and drink, it's alright. Nothing amazing. Don't bother going here if you want just boba; make the trek to T4 instead. This place is only worth the drive if you want food too. read more

Food and Service was good. The hot pot included rice and noodles. The green and black ice tea was at no charge. The price is reasonable. I would definitely come back here. read more

Want some really great hot pot soup? This place is open late, has several types and degrees of spiciness to choose from. We've had several of the soups, my favorite is the #7. It has a milk base and is so flavorful. One pot is enough for 2 people. If you want in, you get it in its own little stove to keep it hot. We have taken it to go, but it's better in house. The calamari was good and generous. They also have different teas and boba. If one likes the soup spicier than the other, they have hot oil to add heat. read more

I love the service and of course the food but really the people make you feel so welcome

Okay. Short and sweet. Place has plenty servers and one cook. But they still lack customer service. Ramen was horrible and waiter did nothing about it. We literally didn't EAT our ramen for two and even after telling the server it was gross he still asked if we wanted a to go box smh. Ramen its self was starchy af. $56 down the drain for shitty ramen read more

Cute place & pretty decent service. The calamari appetizer & their macarons are not worth a repeat. Their Thai Hot Pot is pretty good but most of their soups including that one are mainly cabbage. You can't really sub ingredients which makes this dining experience a little too rigid for me. They have a pretty wide flavor selection of smoothies & teas. This place is okay but a bit overpriced for soups & teas. read more

I was happily greeted with warm welcomes and the waiter was extremely nice I think his name was daren. If you go you should ask for him to serve you. He always check up on us and kept our waters filled. 100% would come back for that type of customer service. read more

I was really happy that I came across this cute little restaurant! I came here for dinner around 5pm and it was pretty empty. The decor was really cute and the customer service was fairly nice (although I did come with my boyfriend who is white, and when the waitress came to give us our utensils and asked if we wanted chopsticks, we both said yes. But I noticed that she came over with just one fork. That just seemed a little off to me since it kinda implied that she was assuming that my boyfriend didn't know how to use chopsticks, but who knows I'm probably being a little critical ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) I got the Taiwanese Spicy Hot Pot ($13.99 for dinner). Just as the waitress had warned me, the hot pot was pretty spicy. There were plenty of veggies, fish cake, noodles, and meat to fill me up, but the broth just tasted like someone had put spice into boiling water-it was kinda bland. I also got a regular Thai Ice tea with boba to go ($2.49) and it was so delicious! The boba had the perfect texture and complemented the tea very well. My boyfriend got the Spicy Black Garlic Ramen ($4.95 without add-ins-super cheap!!!) which he said did not taste garlicky or spicy at all. But the portion was huge and the noodles also had a nice texture. He also got a regular milk tea to go which was also really good :) Overall, I had a nice experience at Cafe Dazzling. The employees were nice and the food was decent. If I swing by Tracy again another time, I'll definitely have to try another hot pot flavor! read more

Cute spot for really good hot pot, Ramen and boba!! Ladies are super nice and helpful, very patient and will recommend their favorites if you ask (nicely!) Hubs had the #5 hot pot medium spicy and a large brown sugar milk tea with egg pudding, and I had the spicy miso ramen with egg, chashu and bamboo and a mango green tea with boba... both meals were amazing, we added a gyoza app and it was almost too much (since it was super yummy we pushed through and made room...) I wanted to try dessert but gotta wait until next time!! Check it out for bomb noms read more

First time here and dayum this place is neat! The waitress is super nice and attentive. We got fried calamari for starters and the dip that goes along with it is perfect. It's well seasoned too! We got the Japanese miso hot pot which comes with a cup of rice. I ordered an extra rice, beef slices and fish cake because I thought one hot pot won't be enough for me and my mom and boy was I wrong. We didn't finish the whole thing because there was a lot in it. It's reasonably priced. I'm so glad they have my favorite wintermelon milk tea here. read more

I Ordered today my favorite "Thai flavor soup"and found small piece of stainless steel scrub . I'm really disappointed.

Hey...people...this place charges $ 3.50....for 3 mini slices of pork ( 1" X 1.5" X 1/8")...ridiculous !! And you order "more stuff" in your ramen soup ($ 1.00 for 5 packs at the dollar store) MAKE SURE YOU ASK TO HAVE IT ON THE SIDE!! This place is a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!...BIG TIME!! read more

When I am looking for a place... Cafe Dazzling comes to mind a lot. It's just that quintessential hot pot, ramen, boba tea, & crepes place that you keep coming back for more. Their hours are amazing.
