this place has such a special place in my heart. from late nights to early mornings, the cafe always has you covered. I've come here sober, hungover, drunk.. name it. And it hits every time! Over the years, I have slowly grown out of only ordering the longsilog (longanisa, egg, rice hold breakfast combo). However, it's still delicious. I just don't remember it being the price it is now. Will I still be there? Hell yeah! (side note, they have some of the best halo halo). halo halo the ice is melted shaved ice texture, not sweet at all, you choose either mango or ube ice cream inside, jellies, and rice cereal. (I'm going off memory here, so the rice cereal might be incorrect. just order it, you won't regret it!). soft scrambled egg with shrimp and rice this is in the rice plates section on the menu (I had to look it up, I never noticed it before). the sauce was slightly sweet but the meal was completely destroyed. fried chicken I mean; never thought it would be GOOD, but my boyfriend was so adamant about me testing it.. and it's delicious. crispy skin (almost like chips), juicy, flavorful, and with mangtomas sauce!! longsilog my tried and true? ugh, the suka too (vinegar), incredible. garlic rice? always a huge and delicious portion. god I miss it. bangus sisig bang-oose. milkfish for those that don't know. ugh, the jalapeno, tomato, lime!! and the flavor on this? I could marry it. it's also a favorite in the family, so we order this almost every time we see it. the skin? crispy. amazing every time. bangus silog someone in our group loves it even more than me, they got their own personal fish with egg and rice to eat with it. and that was DEVOURED by the way tocino silog honestly, the tocino was not giving its name. it's traditionally sweet pork, but it wasn't sweet. plus it was a little tough so this was one of the few times I saw my boyfriend (who ordered it), have leftovers AND didn't want to take the rest home. lugaw think hainan style chicken, in a ginger hearty broth, with softened vegetables, with a side of rice. this was a weekly special and just so happened to be its day of the week, whilst I decided to have a hangover. it was perfect - I want to order/eat this weekly. you're gonna come here for the gambling, but might as well eat some good food while you're here too. the service is always pretty standard, free refills on soda too :)

This is actually one of our favorite go to for Filipino food in the bay and it is open 24/7! Having been here many times, we have not had a bad meal experience here. All the dishes we've had has been so good. Then again we stick to the Asian dishes. We've been here after airport pick ups, for lunch, for brunch, for 4th meals, and still can count on delicious food to fill our bellies. Yes they have an extensive menu, but we've never ventured outside of their filipino or Chinese dishes. Maybe that is the key? Their Sinigang is so so good! You can also ask for just sabaw btw, you're welcome. Mmmmm

Very average Asian American food. Nothing to rave about. Service is average. It's in a casino with old fashioned interior.

Colma Cafe, I thought it was something new. But this is actually the cafe/restaurant inside Lucky Chances Casino. Which I've had their food in the past. I remember the food being really good especially tho r fried rice. But this time it was just ok. We ordered a couple of their silogs( tapsilog and Longsilog), we also had got spaghetti and fried tofu. The Longsilog was good. But I'm disappointed at the tapsilog. The meat looked and tasted like it was a day old. The fried tofu was not crispy. We did love the spaghetti though. It was Filipino style spaghetti but it wasn't too sweet and the cheese went well with the sauce. We loved it. The service was ok too. There was no line and the food was ready in 15 mins. Maybe next time it'll be a better experience.

Came by Friday night around midnight and it was packed. I heard a lot about this place but never tried it out until tonight. Maybe it was an off night but the wet noodles were SO SALTY. Spaghetti was pretty good, tasted similar to jollibee. Basically no service was given besides taking our order, taking food out, and coming by to give us our check. They did not check in on our table and one of our dish came 20 mins after everyone else's. Pretty pricey for the meal, bill was $170 for 6 dishes. Overall, not impressed, very underwhelming.

Came here for late night dinner after an event since this place is almost open for 24 hours. Lechon (5/5); Not too dry and very meaty. Comes with great sauces Chow Fun (5/5): A bit salty, but I devoured it. Filipino Spaghetti (4/5): Not a personal fan of spaghetti, but it's great if you like it on the sweeter side. Garlic fried rice (5/5); Super flavorful. I love it.

Good honest food....feels like not in SF. I find it to be very unique in this area...like off-strip Vegas.

Lucky Chances, Cafe Colma, might be my favorite part of going to an event.... this is my version of afters... After an event when my feet hurt and I am severely dehydrated, this is where we go. It has nourished me back to help and brought my soul back to life. Yes, it gets busy, but all good things come with time. The sinigang has my heart and soul.

Came here with some friends around 2:30 so the place is just starting to slow down. We put our name on the waitlist and were quickly called to be seated. The restaurant is like your typical cafe style with counter seating and various booths. It was kind of loud initially but quiets down as people leaving. There's a sign in the wall by each table stating "1hour limit". Luckily, the food came out quickly or we wouldn't have make the 1 hr deadline We ordered the Belgian waffle, crispy pata and 2 meat combo of tapsilog and chopsilog with garlic rice and 2 eggs. The waffle was just average, something one can make at home. The meat was salty and dry for my taste. We all liked the crispy pata as it was crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside.

    Very disappointed with my order.

Very disappointed with my order. I ordered this before and it was never like this. This time, the food was completely soggy and no flavor. definitely not worth the price. I ordered 2 for $47.

Fried Chicken (Filipino style) is the best I've ever had. It's better than Max's of the Philippines fried chicken!

Adding Beef Ribs Nilaga to my favorite dish list at Cafe Colma where you'll love delicious Filipino, American and Chinese food, attentive, fast and friendly service in a busy, clean diner-feel vibe with flat screens

This is a great diner family place. Super casual. Also a late night drunk place for those who end up out really late and need some food. You've got this place to rely on. Large menu! So many items! Filipino food, American, breakfast, cocktails, Chinese, a bit of everything! FOOD- The pork adobo had wonderful sauce and flavor. Great over rice, you choose plain or garlic rice. The two meat item Filipino rice and egg plate was good too, super oily as you'd expect. I can't eat too much of it but it's enjoyable once in a while. I like the Filipino sausage for choice of meat, wish they'd give me more than two slices DESSERT- The halo halo is amazing. Choose mango or ube ice cream on top.

Wonton soup with chicken added, not salty which I like
    Emy B.

It's after 11pm and we were all hungry. This place rocks for a good hot meal whether it be Filipino, Chinese, or American food. Hubby got the Patty Melt, but wasn't what he expected. He said it was just okay. What shines here are Filipino & Chinese dishes for me. We shared a Wonton soup with chicken added. Chicken was tender and soup wasn't oily, dumplings were delish and not salty. Their Silog garlic rice plates are a solid choice that comes with two eggs cooked the way you like. No frills friendly service and the coffee & sodas keep coming if you need refills.

Estimated wait was an hour for walk in but since we were a party of 2 and were ok with counter seats, we got seated after around 15 mins. The place was spacious, but definitely crowded and the counter seats were in front of the spaghetti station, which is good if you like to watch them cook in action but definitely made the experience hotter since we could feel the heat from the kitchen. We ended up having the Caesar salad, splitting a prime rib with a side of ravioli and spaghetti. The service was great as they split each portion into two. The salad was a good classic Caesar salad. The side pastas did not stand out much in terms of taste and the ravioli was a tad over cooked. The star of the meal was definitely the prime rib. Super tender and already had great flavor. The mash potatoes and cream spinach on the side complimented the meal well. One rib was also definitely enough to share between two people as the servings are generous. We finished the meal off with the butter cake, which was quite large as well, so we couldn't finish. On the heavier side but definitely buttery and complimented the vanilla ice cream well!

Even though it wasn't completely packed, I was so glad I made a reservation in advance! Most of the individual tables were taken, with mainly communal seating left, so having our spot locked in made the experience super smooth. We had our toddler with us, and since she asked for noodles, we ordered the Drunken Noodles and requested them non-spicy. It still had a tiny kick that was a bit much for her, but it was absolutely perfect for my husband and me! To make sure she was fed, we ordered the Pad Thai next--and she completely loved it! The rest of our meal was fantastic. The spicy eggplant had a great flavor without being overly hot, and the pork belly was amazingly crispy and rich. We had to rush home, so we missed out on dessert this time, but we'll definitely be back soon!

It was Saturday midday and the area was quite busy, but we were able to find street parking a few blocks away. Tip: if you park on the street, beware of 1 hr parking signs on certain sections of the street! We waited just under 10 minutes to get in because we were a small party and could immediately see how lively it was inside. I really liked the decor. It felt homey, but still sleek and modern, very understated in a good way with natural tones. It was totally my kind of restaurant. Again it was quite busy inside, and I think that may be why service was just okay. When we sat down, our table had two empty water glasses, but no water. I looked at tables next to us and realized they all had bottles of water, and one table had two, so I wondered if they took ours. In any case, the waiter must have missed it when we were seated and given menus, so it took a bit for us to wave someone down for water. We also ended up needing another napkin later, and it was a bit hard to catch the eye of anyone to ask for more as they hustled by. Looking at the menu, everything looked good, so we tried a few things: crab and sweet corn benedict, pork belly benedict, and matcha pancakes. And that's where we were let down a little more. Most of our food came out cold or lukewarm. For the benedicts, I hypothesized it might have been because they were made with fresh hollandaise, but my friend told me hollandaise can be made hot, so that theory went out the window. For the pancakes, I am not really sure what happened. Other than that, my friend's pork belly was very chewy and hard to cut. Overall, though everything was presented well and looked great, the execution was just not there. Still, I had a nice chat with another customer who ordered the porridge and really enjoyed it, so I know they are doing other things well on the menu, it was just not our day I guess. All that said, we had an okay experience, but I don't know if it's enough to warrant a repeat visit if not for a specific occasion.

The restaurant has a full bar and dining area. The place has the feel of a family Italian restaurant. It is quaint and comfortable. We both ordered the calamari steak which came with both soup and salad included. The soup was a minestrone - 9/10 - which was delicious, hearty, and felt like it was simmering all day. I think I could've easily just eaten the soup and salad and would have been very happy. The house salad - 8/10 - had a wonderful homemade Italian dressing. This was the best house salad I have ever had. Calamari steak - 7/10 - this was cooked very nicely and was piled high with garlic. The garlic wasn't overpowering at all and mixed well with the tartar sauce. The mash potatoes - 8.5/10 - were amazing and creamy. The menu had a wide variety of dishes. Given how good everything we had was, I would guess everything on the menu is likely just as good. Last but not least our server Audrey was great. She was attentive, pleasant, always there when we needed something, but never there too much. Audrey made the whole experience just that much better. I would highly recommend.
