I love this Cafe but, the pastries are not good at all, but the sandwiches and this breakfast burritos are too die for!!! I wouldn't normally pay $7 for such a small burrito but it was so worth it! Small with a big punch in your mouth! The flavors are perfect and freshly made, you can never go wrong. I never had the coffee because I'm an tea lover so my ratings on the tea is excellent! I love the teas, hot and cold! I would give 5 Stars because the staff is WONDERFUL but I have to take off for the horrible pastries. read more

I come here for lunch and coffee. The staff is so nice! I really enjoy their salads, especially the smoked salmon salad. The sandwiches are a good deal too, as they come with both a smoothie and a salad on the side. What I love most is the Che frappe. It's a nutella/white mocha combo and it is absolutely delicious. I've been going here for the last 6 years and is definitely my early morning go to place. Its just so homey ... i come in my pajamas and no one will even look at you twice :) ... The coffee is great but what I always crave about this place is their BLT ... but its just SO good!!! I get it with their green salad and that home made dressing is just one of my favorite. I was impressed by their warm hospitality offered by their staffs. It's centrally located and it's easy to find, despite the fact that they don't have their own parking place, you can park in BOA'a parking lot:) I ordered an Earl Gray Tea Latte along with their signature Breakfast Burrito. Heaven! First day on LA on our way to the Hollywood sign we stood at the corner of the street thinking "we should have at least a lil breakfast before the hike. Let's try that bakery" Good choice!!! The coffee was delish ( to our taste buds), my hubby liked the pastry so much, he decided to buy more "for our way up - just in case" We both went for an open-faced sandwich with beans and cheese and that was the little something that we both needed. Typically I so starbucks but as a genuine coffee lover I know starbucks is limited in its options and flavor base. That said, Cafe Collage didn't disappoint. I tried a nonfat cappuccino and the flavor was deli Sioux. Full bodied, rich and a subtle sweetness from the coffee roast that just glided over your palette.... mmmmm, ahhhh!!! Just what a Saturday morning by the beach called for! I would return for another if I'm here again soon. Small cap was $3.95... not cheap but on par in my experience. I've been here a few time. But this weekend I had the most surreal experience. I ordered two ice coffees and a breakfast burrito. After getting my drinks I walked over to the counter where a very nice holder latin man was making my burrito. We proceed to make polite small talk, him in broken English and me in broken Spanish. It was a pretty normal exchange. However, during our exchange, a red headed girl who worked at the cafe proceeded to tease the man who was also working at the cafe making my burrito. I think she thought that she was being funny, but she was so rude, disrespectful and ignorant that the man making my burrito apologised in Spanish to me for her behaviour. I feel really bad for him. You could tell that she behaved like that regularly. Her behaviour made me never want to come back. read more

This is a local spot. We have a tight crew that meet during week day mornings... by tight I mean total misfits. The vibe is chill ... and there are just a handful of gems like that still standing in venice. They have been holding doors open for us throughout Covid too. The staff are super cool. Paul is basically a venice gotta know guy. Ownership is really good people. I wanted to shout out because they recently updated their menu. Love this place. Try the Avo toast ... made with nori. Yum. Was lured there by reviews. Disgusting. My omelette was horrible, bread not fresh, meat unsalted and bacon overcooked. Plus it took them 20 minutes to cook it. Then they finally bring it & it's on a plate while I'd asked for to go. The girl was sloppy, unattentive, and mixed my order (coffee instead of boba tea), and it was only morning! Sooooo I recently purchased a milkshake from this place and I was highly upset because it didn't bring all the boys to the yard. Disappointed I took the milkshake back and tried to get a refund. Upon explaining to them the reason why I wanted a refund they proceeded to say that I was "crazy" and I needed to leave the store. In conclusion they're a business that gaslights their customers and self milkshakes that do not in fact bring all the boys to the yard. This place is expensive and service is really horrible. I was working near by for two days. The first day I spot in and order a small coffee once I paid for my coffee I asked where is the non dairy cream at and the cashier told me it would be an additional .90 cents. Before I could pay some one in the back just went ahead and let me have it. The next day I went back ordered the same thing. I had my 0.90 cents ready and the young lady told me it's actually a dollar. I told here I was here less then 24 hrs ago how did the price change and she said they just updated there menu. Lol.
