Was torn on trying or not as some reviews made me question. I'm glad I am one to venture. This Cafe is wonderful. We chose to sit outside as the morning is beautiful, with a warm ocean breeze. We decided to try the morning special which was an Avocado Caprese toast with two eggs over easy gracing the top of the dish finished with a balsamic vinaigrette. It was to come with either bacon or sausage but we chose not to have any meat. Bursting with flavors we didn't leave a crumb. The coffee is strong and fresh brewed so this coffee connoisseur definitely was not disappointed. The server was friendly and attentive. The pricing is fair and portion was filling. Corona guidelines are being followed. Masks worn, tables not on top of each other and disinfectant being used on each table and chair when guests left. Cafe Brie is on Atlantic Ave within a strip center. I enjoyed this cafe because it is something different for breakfast. Here you will find quiches and other breakfast items that you may not find typically find. They also have a standard breakfast and were serving eggs over corn hash the day I dined. There is a very nice area to dine outside and it is under and overhang which shields you from the sun. The staff are very cheery. Tip: It can become quite busy so it is better to go early. read more

Went here for breakfast today. It's a small place inside and a few tables outside. The menu had a few options for breakfast. I just want basic bacon, and eggs, and a toasted bagel. They said they were able to do that, but unfortunately, the bacon in it was just awful. It was the precooked type, which was super overcooked, brittle, thin, and hard. When I mentioned it to the server, he didn't do anything for me (like offer a different side). The bagel was the best part of the meal. We also ordered quiche and the pastry crust was very soggy. The coffee was okay, but overpriced at $3 a cup. The overall quality of food here just doesn't cut it, there's lots of room for improvement. read more

Service was friendly and food was good. The crescent roll was great, and great prices for mimosas/coffee. We tried the pomegranate mimosa and mango mimosa $5 ea. Their waffle machine was broken and a new one is in order apparently, so we had the chocolate chip pancakes and eggs and Benedict. The dogs enjoyed the sausage and some fruit. Saturday morning on the way from the beach, we stopped by at this place and ordered 4 meals. Neither of the 4 of us could go beyond the first bite. Every single meal tasted gross, like it was made in dirty pans using frozen and expired ingredients. When the waiter, I think he was the manager or the owner, asked how everything was, I said unfortunately we can't eat of this. To my question "maybe you are using bad oil" he said "we don't use any oil" What? How did you cook the egg? Not only did he not comp any of the meals, he started arguing with us and saying no one else has ever said this and that there must be something wrong with us. Not coming back to say the least. Will be reporting them to the health department as they are doing something in the kitchen that's not okay Edit: The comment the Russian guy left below is not truthful. Breakfast was fantastic! We had the breakfast crepes, corned beef hash, bacon and cheese omelette, Cuban sandwich and breakfast sandwich. Everyone was very happy with their food! The crepe was so big both people that got it couldn't even finish half! The croissants are delicious, we got some to go and quiches for breakfast tomorrow too! The service was also great. No nonsense....one goat cheese and fig preserve please. The execution of the sandwich is nothing short of spectacular. Fig, prosciutto, and easily the best goat cheese this guy has ever consumed. Goat cheese can be hit or miss. The not so great versions are often tangy and off putting. Brie has backed this sandwich with a soft, mild, creamy goat cheese. A beautiful marriage of sweet meeting salty. And the pièce de resistance? The rosemary focaccia! The ultimate cherry on top. Sandwich perfection. Cafe Brie, I'll be back. This is my first trip staying near Pompano Beach and I'm so glad I did. Café Brie is that business you can't help but to love. The soul of home cooked food (which it is) with a heavy hand in owners/chefs that are world traveled and their experience in the culinary arts extensive. And yes we had a whole conversation on how to determine all this Service - 1 / 1 Great service. Our server was super friendly and delightful. Funny and honest about what we should order. We felt like his priority. Food Taste - .5 / 1 Good food but small things missing. I ordered the Fig and Goat on Ficcocia bread (idk how to spell it). There was a little confusion bc when I asked if he could make the bacon on it extra crispy he said, "no because it's in the crepe" and I said oh so it's not a sandwich? And he said no. But it was definitely a sandwich in which the bacon could have been crispier. I think it was also missing the main ingredient - hard goat cheese. So that took away from it and basically turned it into toast when I had to take out the fatty bacon. Husband ordered the Avocado Toast with Egg and he said it was delicious. Pina Colada Crepe was good but didn't feel like the flavors went well on a crepe. Essentially pineapple and whip cream on a crepe. Food Presentation - 1 / 1 All of our dishes looked beautiful and was plated well. Ambiance - .5 / 1 Ambiance or Environment was good but could have been better. Felt a little out dated like you were dining at your grandmas house. But you love your grandma so it's okay. Cleanliness - .5 / 1 I only gave it a .5 because of the restroom. It's a multiuse restroom which I don't mind, but there were gnats in there and the cooking aprons were hung on the back of the door. The idea that the cook goes into the bathroom to put on the apron that he then cooks with makes me not feel good. I don't want anything that's been in a bathroom around my food.
