"Farm to Fork" is just a misleading name not an actual practice…read more I've been buying from Farm To Fork meals in Miami, and while the food is convenient, I'm starting to wonder: how much of this is actually coming from a farm vs. a standard wholesaler? The name "Farm to Fork" implies a direct link to local agriculture, but I haven't seen any specific local farms named on their menus or website lately. When I asked in the store whether the ingredients are organic, they said that they're not. And then when I asked if it comes from a farm, they said yes and didn't elaborate about which farms when I asked. I pushed harder and also tried to get the phone number of the actual farms or facilities that produce or provide the ingredients. They couldn't tell me that either. When I called the customer service, they also gave me a generic response and couldn't point out to which farms they are actually referring, and which produce are being sourced from what farms. In a city where "farm-to-table" has occasionally been used more as a marketing buzzword than a reality, I'd love some transparency. https://www.reddit.com/r/ReadyMeals/comments/1ryc6c6/farm_to_fork_just_a_misleading_name_not_an_actual/

Fifteen dollars per entree is steep except for maybe the Fit dishes that are protein rich. The sole employee was super informative about their three premade food sectors - Paleo, Fit and Vegetarian. Delivery is offered each week from $8 - $16 based on the amount of consumption. The Paleo foods are gluten and dairy free and the Fit foods are heavily protein based 50 grams of protein at 650 calories which is an excellent ratio. I eat multiple times per day, so unsure if this concept would work for my normal daily caloric intake of 4,500 calories. Although, my daughter is obsessed with these type of prepared foods for a tight life schedule.

I ordered two boards for a relaxed informal dinner party for close friends. We were celebrating my bfs newly renovated kitchen completion and honoring my beloved friends with my first post pandemic party since starting a new journey in life. I called Alex who assessed my needs and house layout for 20-30 guests, and concluded that two boards would work best based on the dinner and entertainment. Delivery was nominal and she worked with me on the drop off time since i was running around. Alex was sweet, explained everything and was just the best customer service. The boards happened to fit into the fridge perfectly. They were packed and taped up nicely . She even wrote out a list of all the ingredients she used omg. The boards were life, the guests could not stop talking about them. They were MORE than enough for our hungry pre dinner discerning crowd, many kept eating off the boards well after dinner. I unintentionally impressed one of my guests who is regularly involved in gala events. She was floored lol. Thank you Alex!!!!

The Kalua pig is great, I barely got any because my daughter said she wasn't hungry then proceeded to devour all of it! lomi lomi was amazing. I've had shrimp, chicken, beef skewers, bok Choi, egg rolls, cucumber kimchi, steam buns, . I had their char sui pork yesterday ..soooooooooo goooooooood, I wish I got more. All the meats are tender and not chewy or dry like most catering companies at events. Looks like they have a vast menu for your preference because ever event had different options. So they are a must hire for your event!

My husband was in contact with Kona when they were finalizing everything. We ordered the following items: * Kalua Pulled Pork * North Shore Garlic Shrimp * Ginger Scallion Chicken * Somen Noodle Salad * Sautéed Baby Bok Choy * White Rice They delivered the food exactly at 6:00 PM as requested. We had two staff members in Hawaiian shirts that brought the food trays in on a wagon. Not gonna lie, that was smart because that's something I would do too. They were very friendly. Unfortunately, they asked us if we had sternos and of course we did not because we didn't know we were supposed to provide this. Luckily, we actually had about 4 of the food tray holders. So their staff brought the food in food trays, sauces, plastic utensils and plates. We provided the food tray holders and basically made do without the sternos. We kept the food warm in the oven until we were ready to serve everything. No sternos to keep the food hot while we served it but we survived. I loved the pulled pork and this was probably the crowd favorite but felt it could use more flavor, we drizzled some of the somen noodle salad sauce on the pork and it was delish. The somen noodle salad was probably my favorite because it was unique and colorful. Garlic shrimp was great with tons of garlic flavor. Bok choy was cooked perfectly. I loved the ginger scallion chicken flavor but I will say I didn't love how they cut the chicken because it didn't absorb all that amazing ginger scallion sauce. All in all, everyone enjoyed the food and it was a different experience. Thank you 808 Luau Catering!
