My husband and I thought itcwas pretty pricey for what we bought. Two iced teas, three chicken fingers w fries, and I had two chicken tenders w with a small kale slaw salad for over $28.00! Chicken and fries were nothing special. The item was the kale slaw salad, delish. It's a cute place, The employees were very nice, howeve, there are six other well established restaurants right there!!!!! And another one coming!!! I don't think Dave's is going to make it, j7st my opinion.

Thanks to the big red sign and the colorful picture painted outside I had no problems finding this this restaurant. The restaurant stand at a corner of a plaza with plenty of parking spaces. It is spacious inside with some outdoor sitting. It was cool inside. The inside is painted with bright colors. I liked the huge welcome sign painted at the wall. The menu is posted on top of the counter. It is a simple menu. You can customize the spice level. After you pay for your meal. They give you an alert buzzer and you wait for your order. I got #2 the sliders, hot. They made me sign a waive for it and it was hot lol. #3 sliders & a chicken strip, mild. Both meals came with seasoned fries, special sause, honey, and pickles. I liked my sandwich. It tasted good and smelled delicious. The chicken was great. It was moist. I was happy with it. The special sauce was good. When I mixed the honey with the sauce, it was "Slap Your Mama Good" I wanted more sauce lol The person by the counter was helpful. Service was good and friendly.

Dave's Hot Chicken is pretty good overall, but it's not something I'd get every single day. The chicken is definitely fresh and crispy, and you can tell they season it really well. The cool thing is you get to pick your spice level -- but be careful, because their "hot" is actually HOT

Great food, great service. Much better operation, even on soft opening, than their other locations nearby.

    Slider box.

First-time visit today, very impressed! Did a mobile order on the app which works seamlessly. Rolled in to the restaurant and the order was ready to be passed to me from behind the counter. Ordered medium chicken sliders, delicious flavor on the chicken but didn't really notice any heat; maybe next time I'll kick it up a notch. Nicely put together, quality ingredients. Fries were good, nothing extraordinary, but solid with the sandwich which featured a kale slaw with drizzled sauce. Very tender and mouthwatering.

A few small tables set against the wall and a few larger tables on the outside sidewalk. Doesn't look like much thought was placed on the design here. Service: Didn't wait at all for one of those small inside tables. My server was efficient and served my tea latte exactly as requested. Little things can often make the difference between a successful dining experience and not and here were a few of the small things that were provided that make a difference. I ordered the pancakes and my server suggested a side of scrambled eggs. The food: I received two pancakes which were well done, light and fluffy and the perfect size. I also received plenty of butter (so many places don't give you enough butter) an ample amount of steamed milk for my tea (another area that always seems to be pretty hard to get right). One thing that always drives me crazy was the fact that my scrambled eggs were served in the same dish as my pancakes. I hate this as the syrup inevitably gets to the eggs. Fortunately, I had a second small dish under my tea (which is also a great thing to get, to place my tea bag). I used this dish for my eggs. Another nice convenience was the mug for my tea which had a handle that I could actually put my fingers through (another area that restaurants fail to provide). In addition, I also ordered a side of sausage which came in patties form and was pretty tasty. The Bottom Line: As always my "customer so what" would I come back? The answer, probably. Although the ambiance was substandard, the food was good the service was as well so, it more than likely would be worth another visit on my next stop in town.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The environment is fun, and there are plenty of clever artifacts and photos to engage the eye. On to the food... we ordered the Southwest bowl and the lox bagel. As you can see from the pictures, the portions are sizable and the value for this area was decent. I think the total bill was around $30 for two entrées, a tea, and tip. The bowl has beans, tomatoes, avocado, potatoes, eggs, and cheese. It comes with a Mexican sauce and sour cream. We used a little of the sauce, as we found the dish a bit bland. Both eggs and black beans needed a little salt to enhance their flavors. While it was good, it was very soupy. The beans were not drained well, which I'm guessing--combined with the tomatoes--caused it. The lox bagel was beautiful but very hard to eat. The owners might want to consider dicing the tomatoes, onions, and cucumbers, as there's no way to eat this without deconstructing it. The salmon was good quality. Next time, I'd get a seasoned bagel instead of plain--it would probably be epic on an everything bagel. There are many other options for breakfast or lunch, and we would probably come back to try something different.

They have dinner specials. We recently had the pasta with shrimp and it was a great deal for the price. My husband also enjoyed the steak meal another evening. It's always good to walk into a fast food restaurant and find it spotlessly clean. Bonus points for every employee having a smile when greeting me! I ordered the two piece meal with yucca fries and had the Jamaica juice (hibiscus). Although the chicken was fried, there was no breading and the skin was crispy as can be. The meat was moist and juicy and full of flavor! The yucca fries with crispy on the outside and soft inside. The drink was very refreshing and I refilled it. I chose not to have dessert since I still had the shop but did refill my pink glass one more time with the horchata which was also very refreshing! One thing of note, I like that they give you a regular plate and utensils instead of plastic ware when your dining in!

I decided to check out this casual restaurant which has a clean and inviting atmosphere. I placed a dine-in order for a 2-pc fried chicken meal with a drink, dinner roll, and a side of Campero rice. I also ordered another side of sweet plantains. After paying, I received a table number marker so the food could be delivered to my table. Within minutes the food arrived and appeared appetizing. I started with the chicken leg, which was lightly breaded, crispy on the outside, and both tender and flavorful on the inside; it was accompanied by a soft dinner roll. The plantains, fried to a golden brown, were deliciously sweet. The seasoned rice was tasty and cooked to a soft consistency. The meal was satisfactory and filling, along with the cold, refreshing beverage. I felt a bit bad about leaving the plate on the table, but I didn't see any trash bins anywhere. I asked an employee what to do with the plate, and she replied that she would take care of it. I truly look forward to returning to try the grilled chicken and the other sides next.
