Been coming here for so many times and now I have to use a kiosk to order.not happening, never coming back I told them. They took care of me. They should study my PDQ review across the street. After reading Yelp elite Stephen S's recent review of his experience here, we were happy to try them. We'd been to a Dave's in another city and liked it, but you never know if they're consistent across locations. Happy to say, yes. We got their #1 chicken box with 2 tenders. We swapped out the fries for mac 'n cheese. The box also comes with pickle chips and slices of white bread plus Dave's special sauce. We got this in "no spice". We also added on one tender in the "light mild" spice level to try. We were sharing. The chicken tenders were all quality white meat, huge in size, and lightly battered. Some of the best ones we've had. The light mild spicy one was very red and peppery. It made my eyes tear and my nose run. I could not eat it. It's the lowest spice level above none so I can't imagine medium even. Either they gave me a wrong piece or the higher spice levels are killer!! Be warned. My husband and I thought itcwas pretty pricey for what we bought. Two iced teas, three chicken fingers w fries, and I had two chicken tenders w with a small kale slaw salad for over $28.00! Chicken and fries were nothing special. The item was the kale slaw salad, delish. Their chicken is really nice and plump and juicy. I've tried their medium and hot chicken and I think I'll stick with the medium the hot ones pretty hot even though I like spicy foods, but it goes good with one of their many different flavors of slushies they cool your throat down. Thanks to the big red sign and the colorful picture painted outside I had no problems finding this this restaurant. The restaurant stand at a corner of a plaza with plenty of parking spaces. It is spacious inside with some outdoor sitting. It was cool inside. The inside is painted with bright colors. I liked the huge welcome sign painted at the wall. The menu is posted on top of the counter. It is a simple menu. You can customize the spice level. After you pay for your meal. They give you an alert buzzer and you wait for your order. I got #2 the sliders, hot. They made me sign a waive for it and it was hot lol. #3 sliders & a chicken strip, mild. Both meals came with seasoned fries, special sause, honey, and pickles. I liked my sandwich. It tasted good and smelled delicious. The chicken was great. It was moist. I was happy with it. The special sauce was good. The ambience is not very good, especially if you're a senior citizen it's difficult to sit on metal high top chairs with no backs. It is an expensive fast food chicken place out of Los Angeles, California originally. My husband and I each ordered the two chicken strip meal, which meant we got two chicken strips and seasoned fries And a stack of dill pickle slices next to it. The pickles were good. The french fries were seasoned well I did not care for the chicken at all. It comes out with what appears to be just heavily loaded with dry spices like paprika straight out of the can poured all over it. I cannot see a child eating this of any age I found it interesting but only ate one piece of my chicken the chicken strips were more like small Penny chicken breasts. They were tender, but the seasoning was all powder and a couple of times I accidentally inhaled the powder and choked a little did not like their dipping sauce at all. I got The Mild lower . it was too sweet. I wound up giving one of my chicken pieces to my husband. I ate my french fries and my pickles and we both declared that this would be a one and done. Oh, and with your mail you also get two pieces of basically wonder bread with not toasted not buttered nothing just two pieces of bread with some of the heavy paprika seasoning that has spilled over onto it from your chicken. Went to this location yesterday with my business partner and our children. To start, the moment you come in the staff is friendly the wait time was not long as our food came out quick (we had a big order) our order was complete with everything accounted for. We were lucky enough to meet the owner of as he came out to greet us and conversed about visiting each others business as we also own a restaurant near by...The only thing that caught my attention is the amount of sauces they gave which was more than what we used. We put them away but I'm sure that a lot of folks throw what's extra in the garbage. Besides that, the experience and staff were great. I rate the ambience, the staff, and food 10/10 read more
