Wings plus is a great restaurant if you want to eat great food! Service is a bit slow, but the wait is totally worth it!

I haven't been to Wings Plus in so long, but I decided to give it a try. I ordered online and they have a great efficient website. It also has the ability to let you know when it's all ready with a notification. I ordered the buffalo fried chicken wrap with fries and it was really delicious. It also came with blue cheese for the buffalo sauce. I love their original style blue cheese as it's thicker than other places with blue cheese which you can tell is homemade. I loved the wrap I got as it was a tomatoe shell to give it that orange look. It was very large for the price and I would definitely order it again when I come back again. Can't wait to be back soon, I also love the decor inside and want to eat inside when I come back as it has some Irish flair to it that really is something rare in South Florida these days. read more

Wings Plus is one of those places where you sit down, order a basket, and suddenly remember why chicken wings were put on this earth in the first place. These wings aren't your scrawny, sad bar wings. No, these are big, plump, juicy numbers--like they've been sneaking protein shakes behind the coop. I paired them with a Gorgonzola salad, which usually packs that blue-cheesy punch. Tonight, though, it came out a little shy--like the kid in class who normally cracks jokes but suddenly whispers his answer. Not bad, just... not its usual sassy self. The onion rings were mostly a masterclass: crispy golden armor on the outside, soft and delicate on the inside. But then you get to the bottom of the bowl, and suddenly you're dealing with a few clumps that were greasier than my hair in the 70s, and trust me, teenage me could've fried an egg on that head... but I digress... What saves everything, every time, is the crew. The owner and staff are the kind of people who actually make you want to come back. Warm, welcoming, and they treat you like you've been part of the family since 1984. So yeah--four stars because the wings rock, the people are awesome, and the place feels like home. I've only ever liked one place for wings till I discovered this spot and it's right there neck to neck with it! So much variety of flavors & filled with meat. Got bourbon key west and triple flavor. This location of Wings Plus is massive. 3 seperate dining areas plus the entrance. Really great for groups!! The staff was great handling all of us and very accomodating, there was about 25 people in the group. The menu is big with tons of items on it. I like the different flavours of dipping sauces for the wings. Plenty of TVs in each dining area. I noticed as I paid and walked out that alot of pick up orders and uber eats orders were being placed. There is parking in the strip plaza (one way in and one way out). BLUECHEESE So first off. My wife and I order from here a lot. We love the wings but the blue cheese is why we go there. I don't know who made the last batch but it's wrong. It does not taste like the blue tree dressing that we've had many many times with our wings. I'm guessing whoever made this last batch just didn't care or just pour stuff in without me measuring it or weigh anything because it's completely off and I was disappointed in our meal because of that. read more

Megan was a terrific server. We just moved to the area and she would stop and chat with us about the things to do around here. She went over the menu with us and suggested different combinations and variations of the sauces. There are SO many sauces to try, and you can mix and match! We will definitely be back here. They've got TVs and this location only has a little tiny bar for like four people, but they keep the drinks flowing so you can sit anywhere and enjoy. I gotta say, this old-school wing spot just has my heart. The food is always spot-on. My wife loves the Key West flavor. I am a big fan of the Wens specialty sauce. The service is impeccable. The ambiance is the old-school American food joint type of feel. Hard to hate! The medium with triple garlic w/ their legendary bleu cheese is usually my go to. When I was to be fancy, Wens. Ordered take out from here a few days ago I used to eat wings plus in weston growing up it was the best spot. Haven't been back in years. I decided to get boneless lemon pepper and fries. They weren't "boneless chicken" like wing stop which is actual chicken... the inside was the texture of a sponge... or like a chicken nugget like from mcdonalds. It had zero lemon flavor but instead drowning in a puddle of oil. They were so greasy and oily. I always try to find the good in every dining experience, but unfortunately, this order from Wings Plus left me pretty disappointed. Growing up, wings have always been one of my favorite foods. I can't recall ever having wings that I thought were outright bad--until now. Sadly, this Wings Plus managed to surprise me in all the wrong ways. If these wings had been my first experience with this dish, I might never have become a fan. They were rubbery, dry, and unappetizing. They didn't look good, and they definitely didn't taste good either. The flavors were bland, and the sauces were watered-down imitations of what they should have been--almost as if someone added water to stretch the bottle further. Even the blue cheese dip lacked any real cheese flavor. Despite all that, I'm still giving them 2 stars. Why? Because the order was delivered incredibly fast. This review is based solely on a delivery order, so I can't speak to the dine-in experience or the service. The restaurant is in a plaza with plenty of parking, and I drive by it often, but I doubt I'll stop in to try it again. If the experience had been at least 3 stars, I might have been tempted to give them another shot, thinking maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. I have been to Wings Plus several times with family members who live in the area and make this a regular stop for wings. I do see why it is a favorite spot of theirs. The wings, on most occasions I've visited, are cooked the way you request and their curly shoe string fries are cooked perfectly most of the time. This last visit i requested all flats, extra crispy, medium sauce. They came out perfectly hot and crispy w celery and blue cheese. No complaints.. they were great. The fries came out hot and also cooked perfectly. We were very happy with our order. The prices are fair and the service is good. There are big TVs all around to watch sports and a meeting room in the back which hosts a lot of events. Parking is free in the allotted spaces up and down the street. The menu has a lot of choices besides wings such as burgers and cheesesteak sandwiches. Everything looks good but I'm there for the wings and will surely be back. read more

I Went to Wings Plus for a solo dinner while my buddy finished up a tattoo nearby. Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised with everything. I ordered a 10 piece half buffalo and half lemon pepper along with a half order of fries and some cheese sauce. I can't remember my servers name but he was an attentive older gentleman that provided great service. Wings and fries reminded me of old school Hooters flavor which is a great thing in my opinion. I've been eating in this local Spot since the late 1980's. The food is as consistent as it gets in terms of quality and flavor. The service is always good, and the proprietors- The Walsh Family- are true "Salt of the Earth" type people. You'd be hard pressed to find a more hard-working or community focused family. This restaurant is more than just a Wing Spot. It is a pillar of the community, and has sponsored teams, leagues, and even supported local politicians from both sides of the aisle for years. The wings are popping with flavor, but in my opinion the gem of their menu is their Cheesesteak sub. I swear by it and think it might be the best cheesesteak in South Florida. In addition, the homemade Blue Cheese Dressing for fries and Wings is exceptionally full of flavor. I drive almost an hour each way from my home in the Cooper City area to eat at Wings Plus, and there's nowhere else I'd want to be. I came on a Friday afternoon and sat with my dog at one of the tables outside. I tried the boneless buffalo wings with medium sauce from the lunch menu. All prepared well Cons; they stopped using their own delivery service and now only do delivery orders through UberEats and Doordash. YMMV: Now that I've had to go pick up food because they don't offer delivery, I've been inside a few times and the interior looks clean and looks like what you would expect from a place that serves wings and fries. While they've never been exactly empty, it's probably not a stretch to suggest that roughly half the population would find the owner's cult-like devotion to specific political figures a bit off-putting. There are cobranded hats and even a painted portrait of said candidate near the register. If none of that bothers you though, you're going to have a good meal. read more

While Wings Plus might seem a bit pricey on their regular wing prices, their weekday lunch specials are a steal! For a great price, you get wings, a side, and a drink, which is fantastic value for money. The wings themselves are hands-down the best I've had; they're so good that we often find ourselves craving them, even outside of lunch special hours. My go-to sauce is the Key West with garlic. It's spicy, yet delicious! We did have one hiccup with a takeout order where the wings were sauced incorrectly. However, the restaurant more than made up for it by giving us credit towards our next order, which was a thoughtful gesture.
