Medium hot wings packed nice punch; never skimp on blue cheese; wings tasted more fried than grilled. Hot sauce loose, but still tasty!
    Blake Z.

In the early days of Coral Springs, Wings Plus and Brus Room were the two big boys in town for chicken wings. Since then, many wing based restaurants have opened up and the competition has only heated up. Looking to relive some of the glory days, I decided to hit up the Wings Plus near me! Going in, there were closed caption tvs on, playing sports, and groups of people sitting together munching on saucy wings and curly fries. Tonight, I ordered 10 wings half keywest and half medium hot grilled. Going into my review, I thought the wings were very tasty tonight. One thing I always loved about Wings Plus over other spots is that they have an extensive list of flavors. The medium hot wings packed a nice punch on my lips, and never can skimp on the house made blue cheese. I do think the wings tasted more fried than grilled. I also, think the hot sauce was a little loose, but still tasty wings nevertheless. The key west though were fantastic. It was like a habanero Carolina gold sauce, and these were scrumptious with their homemade blue cheese! Overall, despite my critiques, I still think Wings Plus Is a tiny gem embedded in Coral Springs. Prices haven't came down since I was coming here as a kid, but staff is friendly, atmosphere Is welcoming, and the food is usually pretty good. Final verdict 4/5 stars.

I really wanted to love this wings plus location in Coral Springs in the same way I'm obsessed with the Fort Lauderdale location, but the wings really fell flat. The "lemon pepper" seasoning was missing any sign of pepper and was just yellow seasoning. It was really strange. The wings also tasted old and were greasy. The only decent item we had were the curly fries. Definitely sticking to the Fort Lauderdale location where they serve authentic lemon pepper seasoned wings and fresh food.

Very thick sauce. Extra sugary and sweet. Like a dessert wing.

Well my short and to the point 5 star review didn't age well. This is mostly because that review is 10 years old and a lot of things changed mainly from the inflation during and after the Corona Virus 2019 (covid #19). I was under the impression that their main local competition is Brus Room, and ever since that closed, they're the most well known spot nearby for wings. And sure, they're not bad. They're just not what they used to be. The quality isn't bad, I'd say average. But the overall experience is below average. The exterior can be renovated by a guy with a power washer and about 5 hours of time. But as a local (lived 30+ years within a couple miles of this place) I can vouch that it's likely never been done. Seems to be worse every time I pickup or dine in here. It's not disgusting but it's close. I only took 1 picture today but I wish I took more. There's always broken chairs, mop buckets, shopping carts from a nearby store that's being used to move around buckets and equipment. There's a hallway/alley with workers on break that are in less than desirable hygiene. I'm not saying they have bad BO or don't shower but I'm saying their apron looks like it's never been washed. I never gave it much thought but every time I see the cooks on break I think to myself "Please tell me thats now who is making my food". But its not them, it's the whole experience of it just seems like you'll get sick somehow. The door that's held open by a shoe string tied to a random water faucet. How about a door stop? How about a door that can stay open on its own? How about if that door is decades old and has never been cleaned we replace it? Why has the disgusting floor appear to have never been washed? I'll be back, it's not a deal breaker, but it builds character to this place in an unpleasant way. I've been to seedy joints and yes the interior is a little bit better, but based on the exterior I feel like I'm ready to research what vaccine I'm overdo on receiving. The fence although one of the least of the eye-sores could easily be replaced for under a couple hundred bucks labor included. What's the fence covering? Why does no other restaurant have such filth? I get it, there isn't really a "back" to the building but from a customers POV this area shouldn't be as bad as it is for as long as it has been. I had to get that out of my system. Mainly because it would be so easy to transorm the exterior not 100% better, but you can get a pressure washer, not leave mop buckets and busted ass chairs there, and it would be 90% better overnight. The wings are alright. IMO their medium size which I'm fine with. When a chicken wing is bigger than my fist it's guaranteed to be pumped full of roids. I dont want to buy a bunch of expensive wings that are the size of a single kit kat bar slice either. These aren't micro, they're decent. The flavors and prices are confusing. Flavors sometimes have descriptions. For instance they describe some specialty sauces as: Teriyaki - Coated with Teriyaki Sauce Jamaican Jerk - Coated with Jerk Sauce. Honey Mustard - Coated with a Delicious Honey Mustard Sauce Bourbon Sauce - A Sweet Glaze made with Brown Sugar and Bourbon. Parmesan - Grated Parmesan. This seems straight foward because it is. I didn't need the descriptions but I don't mind them at all. I appreciate the info actually. However... for their Chefs Specialty sauces you can choose from but not limited to: "Larrys" (no description) or "Triple the Flavor" (no description.) I bet they're awesome but I couldn't roll the dice nor had the time to investigate said sauces. Just a little bit of inconsistency on descriptions. Lastly is the prices. I'll give it to them, they're average for 2025's market. I'm not saying they're a ripoff, but because almost everywhere is, it is what it is. They're not more than the next guy, but at the end of the day it's hardly affordable. For the chefs specials its this and the only reason I mention it is because 25 wings is cheaper per wing than 35. Not a big deal, just confusing. 6 wings for $12 ($2ea) 10 wings for $18 ($1.8ea) 15 wings for 24.75 ($1.65ea) 25 wings for 34.25 ($1.37ea) 35 wings for 49.75 ($1.42ea) Yup, the above prices are without BC/R. I'm a believer of if you can't afford it, don't buy it and then complain about the price. I just think that throwing some blue cheese in would help with the value. I get charging for it helps your profit, but that's like selling me a car without gas. they go hand in hand, at least charge me $2 per wing and give be a dollop of white sauce to dip it into. Or some fries. Or anything else that's dirt cheap to make that you can make me feel better about spending $MP on wings. How about a clean sidewalk? I love this place, been going here since I was in middle school, and will still recommend it even if the above seemed like I was bashing them. Service has been outstanding literally every time. Lot of pro's about it. Some of the cons can be quickly fixed!

Celebrating St. Patrick's Day with my new Irish girlfriend. This is my first time at the Ramblewood location, which is easy to overlook because of where it is in the plaza; however, I have a feeling the shopping center is going to get much busier soon with the addition of Dumpling King around the corner and also a few other new stores that are taking retail space there. The other location on Sample Road is more popular, but I prefer this one because it has a regular Irish pub and sports bar atmosphere. The large windows allow more light inside and give it a more open feel. Additionally, it is less heavy on police paraphernalia and has a greater emphasis on sports teams. Today, I came for the new Hoosier pounded and deep fried pork loin sandwich, which has been made in honor of the late Rooster's in Margate. It is gigantic and easily feeds three hungry people and I barely put a dent in it. As you can see, it is accompanied by a full sized Kaiser roll and it is dwarfed by the size of the pounded breaded and seasoned pork loin. It's juicy and delicious and it beats any fried chicken sandwich I've ever ever had in my life. The pretzel here -- deep fried -- is also gigantic, and it is served burning hot with an excellent grainy honey mustard. You can also get it with jalapeño cheese sauce, which I highly recommend. I also spotted a very good-looking roast beef dip sandwich. Honestly, the pub grub is so good here that you could completely bypass the chicken wings and not feel left out if that's not something you're into.

Plenty of tv's and an out of this world special. 25 wings up to 5 flavors, fries and drinks for $35. Refills are free. The service was prompt. Food came out fast. Seating was open and the waitress was pleasant and nice. The restaurant was full of panthers fans as the game was on--good energy and environment overall.

We were in Ft Lauderdale for the weekend and found this place on Google…read more One pound of wings was ~$13.99. They also have a combo that comes with fries and a drink. I placed a call-in order. The wings were hot & fresh, lightly crispy, and a good size. I'm not sure if I picked the wrong flavor, but the "Honey Garlic" wings were a miss. The The flavor was just not very pronounced and the sauce was either too bland or not enough of it was on the wings. I didn't enjoy them so I didn't finish them. The fries were the best part of the experience in my opinion. They just needed some seasoning on them and they would have been perfect. Sidenote: The restaurant nickle and dimes you for everything. Extra wing sauce? Charge. Extra ranch? $1.50 charge. (I don't even think it's homemade) Want to use your debit/major credit card? 3% charge. I ended up paying in cash to avoid the extra card processing charge, but in my opinion I felt like the restaurant was trying to charge for every little thing. I avoid places with practices like this because it feels like they don't value their customers overall (just the almighty dollar bill). The prices were already a bit steep, why charge just to use a card? I was not impressed by Wow Wing House and probably would not return.

This site is the 5th variation of their restaurant concepts . We came on Tuesday night and it was quiet but this did not last long. I believe the last restaurant occupying this spot was a diner but you would have never known! They completely re-did the inside with flower walls, cutesy phrases and a modern Asian aesthetic. The ambiance can be family friendly or even romantic . I'll take both ;) Appetizers: Chicken Satay... the chicken was fresh but lacked flavor without the peanut dipping sauce. Luckily the peanut dipping sauce was so delicious I could drink it. Crab ragoon: smooth cream cheese, tender crab meat in a crispy wonton shell. They were delicious and very fresh . Main dishes: I had the Pho Combo . It was a noodle soup with rare steak, well done flank and a meatball. The broth was delicious and the portion was massive . My companion had the vermicelli grilled beef noodle salad. This comes with thin rice noodles , fresh lettuce, carrots and other various veggies. I ONLY REVIEW NACHOS…read more My sister went to Buffalo Wild Wings and said the nachos were terrible. Since she has a similar palate to mine I was worried. But Florida Nacho Man needs to stay ever vigilant. I came to confirm or refute. She was right. I confirmed it. That's journalism. The plate arrived looking genuinely promising -- chips spread flat, chili distributed, fresh jalapeños, dual cheese situation with Hatch queso and cheddar-jack. Guac and salsa served on the side in separate ramekins, which is actually a smart call. First impression: better than expected. Then physics intervened. The metal tray conducts heat away from the food faster than you can eat it. By the halfway point everything was cold. This dish should come with a warning. Winter is coming. The chips fused together into nacho tiles from the cheese. Pulling one chip meant pulling five, all welded together, shedding cheese to whichever chip stayed behind. Every bite was a negotiation. The Hatch queso and cheddar-jack sounded promising. The flavor was bland and forgettable. The jalapeños were large, fresh cut, and had absolutely zero heat. The crema joins the Hall of Shame -- listed on the menu, invisible on the plate. On the way out I told the manager to ditch the metal tray. He agreed. We'll see. 5/10 on the Florida Nacho Man scale. 3/5 stars on Yelp. Full review with photos at https://floridanachoman.substack.com
