Good but not great fish, chicken and other fried foods. It's definitely geared toward take out and drive through. 3 star ambience: the interior is stripped down and almost vacant. There were only 5 tables, plus a lot of empty space. 3 star food: my chicken Philly sandwich was one of the very few non fried options. It came with spicy fries. All was ok but just ok 3 star service: again this location focuses on drive through and handing take out bags for those who have pre ordered. It took a while to get someone to come to the counter for the order

Outside and drive through

We were so very disappointed in our lunch here the other day. We have eaten at some of the other locations of this chain and been quite satisfied with them. As we were in the neighborhood, we decided to stop by. We ordered a combo plate with shrimp and snapper fish. For our side, we got french fries. The fries were decent. The shrimp, though small, were okay. The two snapper filets, however, were awful. They were "fishy" and hard to chew. In fact, we later questioned whether they were actually snapper or some other fish. To drink, we got a lemonade. This was sticky sweet so we added some fresh lemon which helped a bit. They do a lot of take out here, but they also have half a dozen tables inside and as it was so hot outside, we chose to eat in. The place is not the cleanest. And there isn't really any "service" per se -- you order and pay at the counter. Now we know that this location isn't for us.

I ordered the #1 lunch special. This chicken is so small and fried so hard. Hooks you must do better as we are paying our hard earned money.

Hooks you must do better. Chicken too small and fried to hard that is dry. Also the shrimps are too small. You used to be my favorite restaurant but now I just avoid it.

Fried conch and French fries dinner. $18.99 or $14.99 Monday-Friday $14.99 until 2pm

The food was beyond amazing. The fried conch was our favorite. Only thing that saddened me was we only got 2 of those sauces that taste so good when I dip my fried conch in and all the hot sauce. That's my only complaint meaning that the sauce that's like orange in color taste soooo good that my husband wouldn't share!) We had the fried okra as well and hiush puppies!! Woohoo the food was awesome. Since we relocated to Ocala Florida there are NO PLACES at all the sell fried conch. I suggest this place highly. Wish I been here before because I would have asked for extra sauce. The service was friendly. The ambiance was nice and cleanly and once again only thing that disappointed me was that we ordered 2 conch dinners and they only put 2 of those orange sauces in our bag. Other than that I was satisfied. Fried conch craving satisfied!!!

#2 combo with snapper and 3 wings.

I've passed this restaurant many times and there's always a line in the drive through. I wanted to see what the hype was about and they did not disappoint. I ordered a #2 combo, snapper and wings, and a small side of hush puppies for about $22. The serving was massive. I was able to split this meal with my son; I also ate all the hush puppies in one sitting. Definitely a cheat day meal as all the items are fried. They do offer steamed as well but majority of the menu is fried. I'm stuffed! I'll definitely be back.

Catfish and shrimp combo Combo 1

Catfish and shrimp combo. Tasty and hot. The wait wasn't bad either. Will definitely try again.

I ordered from here and if disappointment was a image it would be my order . My order was 10 wings well done ranch and for 23.00 you think that my order would be correct and it wasn't . My chicken wings were old and not cooked some even bloody .

Fried chicken wings, fried shrimp & onion rings
Tee B.

I was craving snappers however, Hooks Fish & Chicken was closer. I was not disappointed at all. The food was hot and fresh for a fast food restaurant. The wait wasn't too long in the drive thru. The chicken wings were crispy and flavorful. The only downfall was I asked for tarter sauce and got none. Satisfied customer

Tables come ready with disposable paper, bibs, and gloves, making it easy to dive into some messy, delicious seafood. The staff are attentive, service is prompt, and parking is convenient. I started with their mango margarita, a refreshing kickoff to the meal. They also have a full bar if you want something different. For appetizers, I tried the lobster bisque and crab cakes. The crab cakes were my favorite: light, crispy on the outside, packed with fresh crab, and free of heavy flour or doughy textures. Simple and straight-up delicious. The lobster bisque had a flavorful, well-seasoned broth, though it was a little light and I would have loved some chunks of lobster to add texture. Ordering is straightforward: select your sauce/seasoning, spice level, and seafood. I went for the Chef's Pick - Crabfam Classic Seafood Boil, which includes 1/2 pound each of snow crab, shrimp, and sausage, served with two sweet corn cobs and two tender potatoes. I chose the Mr. & Mrs. Crab seasoning, a blend of Cajun spice, lemon pepper, garlic butter, and plain garlic. It had the right kick from the Cajun, the zing of lemon pepper, and just enough garlic to tie it all together. The corn was juicy and sweet, the potatoes tender, and all the flavors balanced beautifully. If you're craving fresh, flavorful seafood in a laid-back setting, Mr. & Mrs. Crab Seafood is definitely worth a visit. Extras: Daily specials, lunch specials, and happy hour deals make it even more inviting. Happy Hour runs Sunday-Thursday, with $2 drafts, $3 house wine, and $4 house cocktails (open-5pm & 8:30pm-close). Lunch specials are Monday-Friday, 12pm-3pm. There were some customers there, but the place still felt very empty and honestly a bit boring. It was very quiet. There was music playing, but we could hardly hear it. The TVs were on, but with no sound, which didn't help the atmosphere. We were seated in the booth area where the other guests were. They had a 2-for-1 drink special, and the waitress was friendly and helpful. She let us know we didn't have to order the same drinks for the deal, which was nice. I ordered a passion fruit margarita, but it didn't taste like passion fruit at all. More tart than sweet. I didn't love the flavor, but I will say the bartender was definitely not stingy with the liquor. My friend ordered a Bahama Mama and had no complaints. I'm not a big seafood person, but I do love wings, and that's where Crafty Crab won me over. I ordered the 10 piece sweet chili wings, all flats, for $10.99, which alone is enough to bring me back. The wings were hot, fresh, and flavorful. My friends also enjoyed their lemon pepper wings and drinks. We originally came because we heard they used to have karaoke on Thursdays, which would have been perfect for the size of the venue. When I asked the waitress about it, she said she didn't know why they stopped. That's unfortunate because this place has so much potential. It's a large venue with good wings and cheap drinks, they're really just missing a vibe. Even playing music through the speakers would make a huge difference. Overall, I'd return for the wings and drink specials, but I hope they bring some energy back to the space. Based on this experience l'd give it a 3.5

I also ordered fish and chips which she said was extremely popular, it was so greasy that I asked for some paper napkins and she brought me two paper napkins, and I put one of the pieces on top of the paper napkin and it was soaked, so I asked her for more paper napkins and she brought me some more paper napkins and then I just got grossed out. It was too much grease. I ordered a glass of wine their house wine. And my total bill for one person was $67. They never asked me if everything was OK so I just paid the bill paid the tip and left. Not only was he very apologetic, he seemed like he actually cared about making the situation right. After inquiring a bit more about the service that night he graciously invited me back for another meal. I understand mistakes happens so it's truly about how they're taken care of after the fact. In this case, it was handled well. I decided to come for brunch this time & overall, it was a really good meal. They weren't super busy but service was good. Our appetizers, drinks & meals all came out in a timely manner. For the most part, everything was right but one of the hash brown sides came out cold (it was quickly swapped for fresh ones). My chicken & waffles were delicious. I especially liked how freshly breaded/fried the chicken was. There was a misunderstanding when it came to ordering our drinks, however. I ordered one that should've came iced but got the other coffee beverage which is served warm. When I brought it up to the waiter he was adamant that it's what I ordered & how it's served. After I questioned it once more, he stuck to that, so I kept the drink. Thankfully, it tasted really good & was poured well but it wasn't what I ordered. It was just a bit off putting that he said it was. He said he'd take the drinks off but this was after we went back & forth about it. This isn't a make or break situation for me but he was set in his ways. As a server, you need to be as adaptive as possible, even if you believe you're right. I'm super thankful to have been invited back because it was a nice meal, as I expected. I'm glad I can now tell people to try them out in good conscience. If you're looking for some delicious food, tasty drinks & good service then you should stop by. They have something for everyone & their staff does a solid job.

We were coming from Hallandale, we had an 8pm reservation got seated around 815 which wasn't too bad. We were sat in a dimmer quieter section away which I really appreciate since our 1 year old was sleeping giving us the perfect date-night setting. Unfortunately the last time we been to Shooters was Valentine's Day 2025. We weren't aware that the menu had been changed since our last time dining which was rather unfortunate since the two entrees (seared brown butter scallops & shrimp and grilled soy-ginger glazed salmon) we came for were changed on the menu. We ended up getting the soy glazed salmon and scallops & prawns which unfortunately we did not enjoy at all. Even the sides were different previously you could just get a side of Mac now you can only get a side of truffle Mac? The grilled soy ginger salmon was on a bed of veggies (bok choy, Napa cabbage, onions, peppers) the one that's currently on the menu was basically on two inedible pieces of bok choy and a bed of rice I couldn't even break and chew the bok choy. Our server Ava was very attentive and sweet even gave a beautiful little treat for a birthday dessert ( not a chocolate fan but her energy made the dessert amazing ). After we paid our check we asked Ava for a manager and did specify that it was regarding the food more and not her service. I didn't catch the name of the manager we spoke to but her response to us simply questioning the menu change was she's not the culinary director or something along those lines but she would still hear our feedback. She just had such an I don't care attitude about it in my opinion and had I not had a few drinks in my system, trying to enjoy my time out with my family and birthday I would've let her know her attitude regarding it just was unnecessary. We unfortunately agreed to find a new go-to restaurant to celebrate our special occasions since so much has changed. Thank you so much to Ava for making our visit worth it! Didn't get pictures of the salmon, scallops, drinks or oysters that we got but I did get the fish dip and the dessert. Edited to add pictures from one of our previous visits
