Cherry Turnover
Mark M.

Terrible service as they missed items from my order. They gave me a soda instead of the large Chocolate Shake I paid for! The Cherry Turnover was crushed and they did not include any sauce packets I specified. They took so long to fill the order and they didnt even make the Crispy Chicken Sandwich fresh!

We were coming home late and it'd been a long day. After putting gas in my car, we had two options: Wendy's or Arby's. I'm not a fan of either really, but of the two, I chose Arby's. There was almost no one inside. We had to check the board to see what they had -- it's been a very long time since we stopped at an Arby's. We chose their sliders. He got two roast beef and cheese; I tried one chicken and one roast beef. The sliders were okay. We added a combo of their bbq (Arby's sauce) and horseradish sauce to add a bit of pizzazz. We got shakes to drink. He tried their shake of the month -- an orange one that reminded him of a creamsicle and I got an old favorite -- their jamocha shake. They were okay, but the paper straws collapsed as you're trying to drink the shake, so it's a tad frustrating. The shakes came out fast. The sliders took a while -- I'm assuming they were cooking them. They were rather short staffed. And when anyone came in, they didn't see any personnel around. I think we heard "anyone here?" several times. That may have been the reason that there were not many customers...

Hungry for an early dinner we stopped here to eat. This was around 6:00 pm or shortly thereafter. Drive through traffic was sparse. We decided to eat inside. We looked the o menu board over and saw that it has changed quite a bit since we last dined at Arby's. We ordered 4 sliders and the featured Orange Cream shake and an old school Jamocha shake. Our shakes were right away but we had to wait 10 minutes for our food. ( perhaps with at least two more staff members they might generate more customers...or maybe lack of customers is why they are running lean during peak dinner hours.) All in all we found the only things that have not changed are the Arby's sauce and the Horsey sauce. Now we know ... ( and of course we did not ring the bell on the way out.)

Wow!!! What a nice change of pace for a food court restaurant at the Coral Square Mall…read more The sandwiches were so good and so fresh. From the breads to the meats to all the toppings. We had the prosciutto & mozzarella with pasta salad & the beef chimichurri with a side salad. Both were absolutely delicious. They also have their own dining area separate from the food court. It was much quieter and no screaming kids or adults. I'm y opinion, this is what food court food services should be like. Can't wait to go back and try another sandwich. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the ingredients used.

I only really drink green smoothies, and they didn't have that for an option so I decided on getting a green juice for $10. It was a little of a wait for the juice as they make it fresh, but it was definitely worth the wait. The juice was really good and fresh. The other stuff on the menu sounded good too so I definitely want to come back and try something else. There was a decent amount of people coming and getting stuff too which I think is a good sign. It's nice to have something healthy in the mall food court as every other option is unhealthy and fast food.

He makes his own sub rolls & is a scratch kitchen. He only uses Roma tomatoes and chops them, the onions & the lettuce for the subs he is preparing. He does not cut or slice his veggies ahead of time. Now I typically like my roast beef rare. Jody's is more medium but there is so much flavor I didn't mind the cook being medium. I had the roast beef & cheddar sub with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes & sweet tear drop peppers. My wife had the veggie sub (sautéed mushrooms, onion & green peppers) with creamy pesto, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, T tomato & jalapeños. Great place with great sandwiches. Jody is very personable. I recently tried their crispy chicken sandwich and let me tell you, it was pretty good! It had the perfect balance of crispiness and juiciness, all nestled between soft buns. It was so good, it should have been in the chicken sandwich competition! If you're a fan of chicken tenders, you won't be disappointed with what they offer. They had the perfect amount of crispiness and surprisingly not greasy. The buffalo Lemon Pepper chicken wings- they were incredibly delicious and came out piping hot and full of flavor. And what's a meal without some fries? Crisp N Grill fries were no exception to their fantastic food. They came out hot and crispy, making them the perfect accompaniment to any meal. The Philly cheesesteak came out hot, tender and flavorful. The overall menu is worth a try. If you're feeling for something refreshing, make sure to try their slushies- they're so refreshing, especially in the Florida heat! I have to give a shoutout to Raza for his amazing service. He was attentive and on top of everything, making sure the food came out perfect. Everything is made to order, so you can rest assured that your meal will come out freshly made. If sandwiches had a Hall of Fame, this place would have a first-ballot plaque and its own highlight…read morereel. Walking into LaSpada's Original Hoagies isn't just ordering lunch, it's stepping into a deli version of a live sporting event. There's energy, there's precision, and yes, there's the legendary "airmail" toss of freshly sliced meat flying down the line like it's got somewhere important to be. Blink and you miss it. Smile and you're part of it. I went with my go-to: the Italian. And not just any Italian... this thing shows up dressed to impress. We're talking Boar's Head ham, cappy, pastrami, and provolone, sliced fresh right in front of you, then launched with deli theatrics onto perfectly waiting Italian bread. From there, it gets piled high with crisp veggies and those Italian peppers that quietly steal the show. Every bite hits like it's been rehearsing for years. Somewhere around bite three, I had a moment of clarity: "This isn't a sandwich... it's a commitment." Plot twist... you think you're just grabbing lunch. You're not. You're entering into a multi-meal agreement. A large sub here doesn't just feed you, it sticks with you. Lunch today, lunch tomorrow, maybe a late-night "just one more bite" situation. It's generous in a way that feels personal. My wife ordered the roast beef, and wow. Perfectly rare, ridiculously tender, sliced fresh and yes, sent flying down the line like it had a boarding pass. It was the kind of sandwich that makes you reconsider your own order mid-bite. Quick detour, because it deserves it... the homemade macaroni salad. I don't throw this around lightly, but I'd put it up against anyone's for best in class. Creamy, balanced, and somehow disappears faster than you expect. That's not an accident. And then you remember... this place took home "Best Sub in South Florida" from the Sun-Sentinel in 2025. Not surprising. Honestly, it feels overdue. Micro twist: you walk in thinking you'll try something new next time. You won't. You'll be back for the same order, and you'll be happy about it. After 25+ years in Coral Springs, they're not just consistent, they're automatic. The kind of place where you don't wonder if it'll be good... you just decide how hungry you are. Highest recommendation. Five stars, no hesitation. Final thought: Some places make sandwiches. LaSpada's Original Hoagies makes believers.

La Spadas has been a longtime favorite hoagie shop of mine for over 30 years. As they say, "Best…read moredamn hoagies in town." The first location was at Lauderdale By The Sea in Ft Lauderdale that I went to when I was younger. The Coral Springs location is close to me so I usually visit that one. It never disappoints because the hoagies are made to order with many toppings to choose from. The hoagies are piled high and come in 2 sizes. The sweet peppers are the best and are brought in from Chester, PA. The options of breads are wheat or white and always are soft and flavorful. My go to hoagie is the Turkey on wheat. The meats are sliced fresh to order right in front behind the topping station. The service is quick in making the sandwiches. You can also order over the phone or online for pickup. I always feel welcome. There is a small amount of seating. It's mostly a quick to go shop. Definitely will be back!
