A tiny spot located at the TH Regional Airport, if it not for my quest to weed places like this out, the average person would not know this was here. Off the beaten path for someone not using the actual airport. In addition to the small cafe serving sandwiches, soup, coffees and the like, the Corsair Cafe is packed full of plane paraphernalia, toys, books and gadgets. If you have a kid interested in planes or flying, you need to get over here to fill their Christmas list. Model airplanes, books, bags, t-shirts, games....lots of stuff all about flying. Nick nacks and trinket stuff too. I brought my parents out here for something different. The lunch was OK and reasonably priced. They featured a pull pork sandwich for $5 the day we were there that my dad said was not half bad (a city girl like me was taken back by the low price). We were the only ones in the cafe when we were there. There are Adirondack like, wooden chairs and picnic tables outside to maybe sit, have an ice tea and watch planes come in and out and move about (not sure how much action this airport gets on any given day, I am guessing not a lot). So nothing incredibly unique going on in the food realm hear other than a decent well priced uneventful menu, but a unique atmosphere that if you caught on the right day might be a nice spot to see some plane activity while enjoying a bowl of soup and a lemonade.

The donut was a chocolate long john and I asked the person taking my order if they were filled or unfilled. They said unfilled, which is what I wanted, but when I got back to my car, it was filled. My husband went in to place his own order, so he purchased another normal chocolate frosted donut and it was fine, but I would have been bummed if I had been on my own and gotten the wrong thing. For breakfast, I decided on the sweet cream pancakes and chose over easy eggs and bacon. They had blueberry or strawberry jam options for the toast, so I chose blueberry. Our server asked if I liked my bacon on the crispier side and I said yes, so she said she would ask for it to be cooked longer. When I say that these were the best pancakes I have ever had, these were the best pancakes I have ever had! My husband had a couple of bites of them and was surprised at how good they were, just being pancakes and not expecting much. Usually, when I get pancakes at a breakfast spot they come out too thick/rubbery or too dry/bland. These were a nice, medium texture without being too big or way too thin and they were moist, flavorful, and sweet. 10/10 and would order them again when we go back. The blueberry jam was tasty, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon was cooked crispy like I had wanted. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, also with over easy eggs, and a side of country potatoes. He chose the strawberry jam for his toast. We each had a couple bites of the other's dish to try them out and we both loved how savory the rosemary gravy was. His eggs were also cooked perfectly and the country potatoes were hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The only minor slip up during our visit was that they forgot to bring out the side of potatoes at first, but otherwise a wonderful dining experience. We were reading the other handful of reviews on Yelp after we ordered since I already had the app open to look at photos of different dishes to help us decide what to get and we were very confused about the bad review claiming all of the food was highly processed and not fresh. All of our food was made to order, hot, and made with fresh ingredients. Can't wait to come back again soon!

The Bodega is a trendy, upscale market in downtown Greencastle just off the Square. They sell some…read morelocal produce and other specialty items such as herbs. The shop is somewhat sparse. There is a wall of cookbooks. The clerk is super friendly and gave us the background on the various farms that the featured gourds and pumpkins were grown. I purchased a French blue gourd. Prices were on the high side. They sell breakfast and lunch sandwiches (daily specials). Cold assorted salads are in a fridge for take out.

I'm writing in reference to Lindsey L.'s insipid one-star review of the Bodega…read more She states that she "should have been paying closer attention to the menu because [she] didn't recall it saying mayonnaise was on the breakfast sandwich." Well, "mayonnaise" wasn't on the sandwich, nor on the menu. "Dijonaise" and aioli were on both, however. All Lindsey and company had to do, which is all that anyone has to do at any business establishment, was go to the counter and ask for either a refund or a custom modification to the sandwich. And yeah... reading the menu--written in big letters and hanging on the wall--helps too. As someone who doesn't have to drive "about 40 minutes" to go to the Bodega, I'm super thankful that it's here. It's a blessing for those of us who have been thankful for ALL the businesses who have brought a new bit of life to our community. At the end of the day, people like Lindsey should be taken with the half-grain of salt they're worth. She wants you to think that the folks at the Bodega went out of their way to ruin her day. What we actually think is that she opted to announce to everyone on Yelp that she's petty and selfish. She didn't bother to read the menu, didn't ask questions, and didn't take her grievances to the store. Instead, she fired off her editorial opus and punched "one-star" because, in her world, if she's inconvenienced or made angry, then something has to burned to the ground. The Bodega is wonderful. Five-stars. People such as Lindsey are why Yelp can be awful.
