I have now dined here on 4 occasions and each visit I've been quite satisfied. The cafe is casual- as a matter of fact we've come in our bike gear & parked our bikes right off the patio where we enjoy our meals. The service has always been very friendly and efficient. The Bellini's are delicious- mine was the classic peach while a friend had a pineapple one. The portions are more than ample here- one could make two meals out of an order. I've loved the shrimp plate each time I've come but decided to try something different today- I had the Falafel Salad and it was great. The falafels were nice & crispy. Two friends ordered the citrus salad with chicken and both loved the flavors. My other friend (who is a picky eater) had the Eggs Benedict and raved about them. My family stopped here to eat on our weekend trip to the beach, and we had a lot of mixed feelings about this cafe. On one hand, the fruit, English muffins, bacon, and waffles were exceptional. On the other hand, just about everything else sucked. My pancakes were burnt, the gravy was terrible, the burrito was bland, the mascarpone cheese was bright pink and strawberry flavored, despite that not being listed in the description. We've been here a few times now, after driving by hundreds of times and saying "we should try that place." It occupies the space that was at one time a seriously delicious Indian restaurant that I used to go to all the time when I lived in Rohnert Park. Thankfully, this restaurant is also super good, and super close to me! On our first trip here, we came during breakfast and were sat outside in a parking spot that they made into outdoor dining. Our server was Corina, and she was super friendly and nice. We ordered a green tea for me ($3) and a coffee for him ($3) while we looked over the menu. The tea came with fresh mint leaves which is exactly the way I like my tea, but rarely if ever find that at a restaurant. What a great first impression. For our meals, I ordered the Garden Benedict ($13) with a side biscuit ($2), and he ordered the Zaina's Omelette ($13) and added some onions for an additional $1. Our food was out in a flash and it was gorgeous! My bene was perfectly cooked and packed with fresh veggies. The biscuit however, was bland, tasted like it had been microwaved, and was a real disappointment. The potatoes were well seasoned, and the champagne hollandaise was delish. His omelette was also well cooked and well seasoned, however his side pita was dry, cold, and rigid, and was a letdown. On our second visit, we came for brunch and were seated on their patio facing the busy road. I ordered the Falafel Mezza Plate ($13), dad ordered the buttermilk pancakes ($9), and hubby ordered the Schwarma Melt ($12). My platter was jam packed with sauces, dips, and flavor combos, and was as beautiful as it was filling- a vegetarian paradise! The road noise and smell was up from when we visited last, and detracted a bit from the overall experience of brunch in the sun. Dad, as a man of traditional food values, absolutely VACUUMED up his pancakes and thought they were solid. Hubby's melt got positive reviews as well, and the fries were well cooked and paired nicely with a side of tzatziki. I took an order of baklava home ($5), and it was unfortunately pretty soggy and bland which was a disappointment. Overall our service was very good, with well-priced dishes of large portions and generally well cooked and nicely seasoned. Free and plentiful parking onsite is a breeze, and lots of outdoor seating once that is back up and running as an option. I imagine the "sunday funday" mimosas and bellinis in the sun would be a pretty awesome way to spend a brunch bunch, but that will have to wait until this current shelter in place/covid distancing chapter is over. If you are looking for good Mediterranean food in RP this is your spot!! The falafel, hummus and eggplant dip are to die for! Their gyros are also very delicious and huge, you definitely won't leave hungry. The only things keeping this from 5 stars is the atmosphere/ambiance. It's not horrible but it's not the best either. Decided to give this place a try as I was very hungry and it was the closest quick casual brunch joint on my route. Everything was: almost a win. I liked the idea of a Greek Benedict (gyro meat & feta). I wasn't a fan of the spinach and the English muffin could use a little more "toast". The potatoes were almost perfect; just slightly water-logged. I like that the grape leaves are sourced locally but would up the quality of olive oil. Also, an almost win. The serving portion is big on both so I would come here to split with someone. Unless you have a big appetite, I wouldn't recommend to small eaters. I'd love to see half-order option on the menu for small eaters like myself plus it would save us money as consumers and we would probably come more often. If they "up" it just a little bit more with one notch up of higher quality ingredients, a little more energetic love in the food from the chef, one less radio station playing (there's two different music stations playing), a revamp in decor could be considered in the ambiance. Their menu features a lot of Greek food... so maybe more of a Grecian vibe would help. When I first walked in, there was a significant cleaning product smell so if they air it out or change their cleaning product, it could be a win. I went here for the first time today. I will say this is one of the best places I've been to in a while. We had the appetizer with the grape leaves. Then I had the shawarma melt with chicken. It was so juicy and filling. The fries were cooked so well. I had a mint lemonade to accompany it. It was the best lemonade I've had. My friend had a falafel pita and said it was so filling and the cabbage was pickled very nicely. The server was so nice and even gave us a little bit of lemonade on the side! Zaina's was recommended to us by a friend and we're so glad we went here for lunch. We were able to sit down quickly and the staff were super friendly in going over the popular items with us. We decided to go with two sandwiches, Zaina's chicken and the shawarma melt with garlic fries. Food came out quickly and tasted amazing! Vegetarian review - the food is good and the service is great. We ordered Falafel mezze plate, Hummus dip, Homemade mint lemonade and coffee. It felt a bit too pricey but generally everything was tasty, portions were generous and definitely made fresh so expect a bit of a wait to get your food. The feta and salad were great but I personally couldn't tell much difference between the taste of Baba ghanoush and hummus but maybe that's just my palette. The only reason one star was off is because the falafels were absolutely fresh but they felt dry, bland and didn't add to the flavor of the dish overall. Pita was good and coffee was so so. Mint lemonade was an interesting combination and though it was new for me and felt refreshing, I didn't quite enjoy it. It did look like it was quite popular so judge for yourself. One of my go-to spots for brunch. Big selection of food on their menu. In fact, sometimes I feel like it has too many options so it makes it hard to choose! Choices range from classic brunch dishes (benedicts and omelettes) to mexican dishes (huevos rancheros) to mediterranean (gyros and pitas). Many of their items are locally sourced. Best part is their bellini's! Bottomless bellini's on weekends for $18. There are usually 3 bottomless fruit flavors to choose from (this time they had pineapple, orange, and grapefruit). They purée their own fruits. They also offer mimosas too, whether bottomless or not. Parking is easy in the lot. The lot can get a little full on certain times during weekends because there's another popular brunch spot in the same lot. I've had to park around the corner on the street once. Service has been phenomenal every time I've been here. Offering water for my dog right away. They're quick to come check on your table and to refill your bottomless drinks! If you are coming on the weekend, get ready to circle around and look for a parking spot. The lot gets packed with cars quickly. It was my first time in Zaina's restaurant and I was hoping to get a nice breakfast with my husband. The food took a while to come. I got one buttermilk waffle. It came with everything that was listed on the menu plus pieces of bananas. Why bananas? No idea. Didn't ask for them, don't even like them. The waffle tasted ok, but was nothing special. My husband got the chicken fried steak and he was unimpressed. My husband ALWAYS finishes his entire plate, but he barely touched the steak. It was practically all fried batter. The steak was incredibly thin and had very little flavor. The waitress was barely checking on us, I guess that's because they were busy, but still. Anytime she would come she was nice though. Tried this place out for brunch on Saturday. We made a reservation earlier in the week but there was plenty of seating still available at 12. The owners were very nice and had recommendations. My in-laws are less adventurous and went for classic breakfast items and were very happy with the French toast and corned beef hash. They also liked their side of biscuits and gravy. Hubs had the omlette that had gyro meat in it and it was a fully loaded omlette, stacked high. He was very happy. Sister had a smoked salmon benedict which she liked. Oh the three of us "kids" each had a bellini flight that was yummy, pineapple was my favorite. I had a Zaina's salad with shwarma chicken and it was delicious. I was very happy with it. I also ordered a side of baba ghanoush, with some cucumber on the side. It still came with some pita I was tempted to ignore my low carb diet with. It was so warm and fresh. My phone was at home or I would have taken pictures. Oh and we had mentioned it was my sisters birthday so they brought out a couple pieces of baklava that were delicious as well. Came here on March 7, 2021 with a friend to get brunch before our wine tasting appointment in Healdsburg. This place was packed and they said they only had one table available that was in the sun which is not a big deal as it was a tad bit breezy. Well this table just happened to be on the walking path from the parking lot up to their restaurant. There were 4 tables total in this area, and even with no one sitting at the tables they were not 6 feet apart. So what does that mean when people are sitting at the table? That means they are way too close for comfort even if there wasn't a pandemic. We were given water and our menus which we quickly looked over and then placed order. I ordered the Garden Veggie Hash which was house potatoes, oven roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, organic baby spinach, tri-color bell peppers, avocados, poached eggs (that's plural per the menu) and pesto sauce, there was nothing listed on the menu as far as it coming with toast, etc., only what I mentioned. My friend ordered the Zaina's Omelet with a choice of 3 items for the omelet & a choice of toast. She requested it to be egg whites only and only wanted cheese & bacon in the egg white omelet, our server did not ask if she wanted toast. After waiting for quite sometime we had to flag our server down as he never returned to our table to ask if we needed more water, wanted something else to drink or even to bring any of the food we ordered. When he finally came we asked about our meals because it had been 1 hour since we ordered. He quickly came back and said that the kitchen would start cooking our meal now. WHAT? We sat here for an hour and they did not even start our meal?? I told the server that if the meal was not here within 5 minutes we were leaving as it had been an hour and we had an appointment in Healdsburg. I kid you not our meals came out within a few minutes and was piping hot. We swore that in that short of time something would get messed up as it was just too darn quick. My friend said her egg white omelet with bacon & cheese came out perfect. My garden veggie has was extremely good, even the one poached egg was perfect. However this meal should've been two poached eggs as for the amount of veggie has that they gave one egg was not enough and their menu did say "eggs." They gave both of us sourdough toast with butter but no jam or jelly. It would've been nice to be able to pick what type of bread we wanted, and for me, I always request my toast dry aka no butter. We were both impressed with how the meals turned out considering it arrived within a few minutes of us asking why it was taking an hour to get the food. But again, since it was so late coming out we had to pay the minute the food arrived and scarf our food within a minute as we had a set appointment that we couldn't miss. And as stated earlier the tables in the walkway area where we were seated outside there was no social distancing at all with the tables, not even half the distance. I would give this place 2 stars for how close the tables & chairs were to each other, 2 stars for the server as he never came back after taking our order until we had to flag him down, 3.5 stars for the taste of the food and a definite 2 stars for how long it took to get the food. I can honestly say that we may still be waiting for our food had we not flagged the server down. Not sure if I'd return anytime soon, maybe down the road. read more

This was just what I needed. I ordered a falafel wrap and asked for my pickles on the side + requested extra sauces. Taziki, tahini, and then was graciously offered hot as well. I was very happy about that because it's one of my huge pet peeves to ask for sauce later finding the cup is only 1/3 filled. My falafel wrap included a side of saffron rice made with chicken broth. The food here is delicious, my party thought that it took a hot minute to arrive once we ordered but I reminded them that good food prepared to order does take time to craft, not to mention it was very busy when we arrived at 11 on Sunday morning; that being said, the bellinis, mimosas and starters came pretty quickly and out waiter was very attentive. About the FOOD : every dish we ordered was a delight, the shawarma was beautifully seasoned, the vegetables fresh and delicious, even the potatoes were cooked to perfection.
