The girls working here usually act very immature. Every time I've gone they seem to be more invested in the conversations they're having with one another, instead of focusing on the customer. Very annoying, hence why I come so infrequently. You either have to be a local or a regular to feel welcome, is my guess. However, they know how to make delicious coffee. Why I do seem to come back. read more

Great selection of smoothies and bowls here. I had the ocean beach bowl minus the honey. It had just the right mixture of fruit to smoothie to granola. They also have bagels and other good looking baked goods including several gluten-free items such as banana bread slices and cookies from a local source, though I did not try any on this visit. There are a few tables outside for eating and traffic/people watching. read more

What better way to start off your morning by walking to the neighborhood coffee stand to get a cup of Joe (Or tea)? Cafe Bella offers coffee, tea, and various pastries + bowls to get your day started right! After browsing through the menu I decided on a London Fog. I had only had it one other time so I was curious to see if my second try at this drink would be a hit! It only took a few minutes to make. The London fog was delicious. They use Stash earl grey tea, and there was a slight citrusy note to the tea mixed with the steamed milk and vanilla syrup. The drink will come to you with tea bag left in the cup so as a side note, be sure to remove your tea bag after you've gotten the perfect amount of brewing since the longer you keep it in the cup the more chance you'll oversteep the tea, changing the flavor so that it can potentially become more astringent and bitter. read more

I decided to try this place because I was in the neighborhood of Ocean Beach, it's a cute little portable truck on the street that is super walkable. There was no line so we decided to come here and they were fast. I ordered the iced Vietnamese coffee and it was good. It's only espresso shots and sweetened condensed milk and it was the perfect amount. I also ordered a salmon bagel with a jalapeño cheddar bagel. It had cream cheese, spinach, and tomatoes on it, it was pretty good maybe I would like my bagel more toasted but overall this place nine out of 10 and I probably will come back for an iced coffee. there is some seating area outside limited to two tables but there's plenty sitting around the neighborhood and I even was able to bring my dog since the outdoor coffee shop. Stopped here on our way to the dog beach. The menu is extensive! From coffees, teas, smoothies to açaí bowls and baked goods. You'll definitely find what you're looking for. I got a matcha latte with no sweetener and oatmilk. The matcha was of good quality and the oatmilk paired perfectly needing nothing more. My boyfriend got the pink paradise smoothie. Wow this place was amazing Super clean fast service it's location is so convenient. They have a drive-through as well every thing on the menu looked good We just happened to run upon this place as we were headed to a meeting And what a great find We ordered a small therapy Banana peanut butter protein and 2 shots of espresso with almond milk Absolutely delicious so creamy and smooth not to sweet just right ...... I usually enjoy going to the Bella carts at both locations. Not sure how the ingredients are handled/ stored for this cart, my husband & mother-in-law got some kind food poisoning from this cart. Both drank a sunshine smoothie from the coffee cart located by the car wash on Volitaire & right after (same day) had chills, nausea, vomiting, & diarrhea. I doubt this is a coincidence since they did not eat anything else prior. Hopefully this is an isolated situation. read more

Not going to lie this place is awesome. But wow it's been a while since I've had rude stand off ish customer service in a while for absolutely no reason. The girl approached my vehicle with no hi, no welcome, no nothing she just stared at me and then looked away and waited for me to feel so awkward and then goes what can I get u. Like girl bffr, do your simple cute simple job and be kind. She was giggling and laughing the entire time and doing nothing all she was doing was taking orders for the other ladies in the back working hard. The inside was super slow/empty which was nice. The drive through seems like the busy area. A couple of outlets available. They had some vegan baked goods which is refreshing to see. Americano was good and the workers were friendly. Bathroom requires a code. Wifi is fast and password is available at counter. read more

I asked for a Cortado and was given a 12 ounce latte, which was not hot. A Cortado is two shots of espresso and the same amount of hot milk so a very small amount of liquid and strong. Cortado's are a popular drink in San Diego and they should learn what it is and put it on the menu. I love waking up. Getting a coffee and heading to the beach. This place is within walking distance of the beach and perfect to add to a morning. I give the coffee drink (therapy protein shake) a 5 star and the lox bagel a 4. The service was fast and decent for the price you pay. It cost $30 for 2 drinks and 2 bagel sandwiches. My friends got egg sandwiches and said they were good. They don't toast the bagels and I think that would make them a 5 star! They have a huge variety of coffee drinks so there is something for everybody. They even have little patio seating outside. It is a very cute little place. I recommend stopping by! read more

Wave Bowl $16 (14.50+1.50): 5/5 The bowl itself looks fairly small like, but deceptively so since I was stuffed after eating the whole thing for breakfast. It is higher cost than I would usually spend but I don't eat açaí bowls to know the average. Personally I really liked that the toppings were at the bottom and the bases were on top, not just because it was a beautiful display but because sometimes when it is the opposite, it can quickly get messy with toppings falling and dropping. In this case yes the bowl was OK was but was no better than the 3 other bowl places within a mile of this location. The wait was LONG as for many of the bowl places on this street but this one was extra long as in 45 minutes to an hour wait on off hours long. And of course with all these tik tok famous places the price was inflated. Based on taste alone I could have given this place 4 starts but the extra tik tok tax(inflated price just for being TikTok trendy) and extra wait time for the exact same thing you can get anywhere else rubbed me wrong so I'm going to have to leave this 3 star right here.
