Who doesn't love Beignets!? Hot, soft, fried dough with mounds of powder sugar over the top! Pair that with a coffee and you have yourself a NOLA classic! I tried this place for the first time, because I didn't want to walk all the way down to Cafe Du Monde. I wish I would have walked there. This place was clean and trendy and the staff was nice. They have an assortment of different beignets but I stuck with the classic. 3 of them was $4.99. It took about 15 min to get them and this place wasn't super busy but that is ok, when I got them they were sort of flat not puffy and they were not very warm, almost cold, like they were sitting somewhere for a bit. I didn't fuss and ate them. They were good, but not great. Not enough sugar on them in my opinion. Maybe if they were warmer it would have been a different experience. Go to cafe du monde. They are the OGs of the beignet game.

We were walking down the street and it started pouring. We waiting for the rain to subside and talked with a few lovely locals who mentioned we should try it. We love beignets and thought the chocolate drizzle with strawberry was pretty good. The dough was cooked perfect bigger than cafe du monde. We thought the dough was a little thick but liked the taste. They also sell food items. I would go back and try a few more items.

Cafe Beignet is a chain here in New Orleans. We had stopped in wanting to get something a little substantive, quick, and better than a hotel breakfast, like the pecan waffle or breakfast sandwich - but something must have been happening in the kitchen that morning because they said none of that could be made. So we opted for regular beignets - it's about $5 for 3 large ones so not a bad price, and they did come out very warm. This location has a self-service station for you to add to your coffee as well as get things like jam and honey.

This is a NO for me! The service was slow and the beignets were dry and NOT hot. I had to send them back.

The place looked clean even with birds flying in I enjoyed the live music and the wait staff seemed to be rushing me and other people on line. Even when I said I'm looking at the menu and I don't want a drink I kept getting asked. Then when I made an order of beignet, it didn't taste fresh and it wasn't even hot, like it had been sitting there. For $5 plus tax you would think a place named cafe beignet, that would be the all star on the menu. Try for yourself and see but definitely for other tourist, maybe try somewhere else or you may have a better experience than me.

It was fine, but nothing amazing. The idea of the place is really neat, but it's definitely commercialized.

Meh, I was not a fan of these Beignets. I have only had Beignets twice. Here they were extremely dense and chewy. The other location was light and airy. I guess it's all about preference. They always have a huge line, so I assume many people prefer this method. The line goes quick and if you only want Beignets go up to the coffee bar and order, they had no line.

Food was delicious, and they do serve actual breakfast food lol. I had a crawfish omelet and my son had the southern breakfast. Service was very friendly and helpful. Ambiance felt like a new school diner with and old school bar. There were a couple dudes playing jazz in the lobby. It was great. 100% recommend.

The beignets were so warm, fresh, and delicious! Definitely enjoyed them. The only downside was the service. The cashier had such a nasty attitude for no reason. It was so noticeable that even the manager caught on and had to pull her aside! The beignets were great, but the customer service definitely needs improvement.

I was visiting New Orleans and wanted to get plenty of beignets while I was there. Cafe Beignet was one of my stops. I was very pleased! The beignets were soft, warm, and sweet. I ordered three to go but ended up eating one while I was there because I couldn't resist it. The service was quick and the restaurant was also clean.

I've been twice and each time I've left happy. The first time we wanted an order of beignets to go. We waited in the long line and then were told we could place the to go order at the bar. The bar tender was annoyed we were there when she was busy so the order took forever and we should have just stayed in the long main line. But when we got the beignets they were hot from the kitchen and so so good. The second time I went I dined in. Ordered from the main line and then got a number and sat at a table. The order was delivered about 2 minutes later so they really crank these things out. They are better at the table without the steam melting the powdered sugar but the to go order did not disappoint either. My recommendation is to just stop by and get something!

The location on Canal is great! Plus its air-conditioned and calmer than the chaos at Cafe Du Monde. The interior is beautifully decorated and there are plenty of tables. Venturing away from the classic beignets I decided to try the salted caramel, and for the love of all things decadent, those were sinfully delicious. The sauce is served warm and on the side to be poured over the sweet and fluffy beignets. I ordered them to go which was easy, and they were still fresh when I made it to my hotel.

The beignet sampler here was delicious. The wait for them was a little bit more than expected but it was worth the wait. The AC inside the place keeps its super cool. The service I received was great. Good job Cafe Beignet!

The vibe of the location is the best. The colors and setting will brighten up your day. We'll thought out set up. Our server Aurry was amazing. She provided great service and awesome recommendations from drinks, apps and eats! Her personality was very pleasant and sweet. She was attentive but not overwhelming at all. Both Aurry and Joel contributed to the overall experience making it great. The FOOD was a HIT. Everything ordered was presented beautifully and delicious!!! The executive chef is definitely cooking very very well!!! We loved the Blue Crab Ragoon App as well as the Crab Cakes. There was nothing left on the plates. For entrées we had Banana Foster Pain Perdu, Side of Duck Bacon, Hashbrown, 100% Seafood Gumbo and Fried Catfish. Everything was seasoned to perfection and hot!!! Last but definitely not least are the Cocktails which were very good. Try the Cold Brew Martini if you like iced coffee type drinks and also try the Strawberry Lemon drop for a sweet treat. Both taste great and have a nice amount of spirits in them. This is a must try in NOLA. Will definitely return!!

Hers was fine, nothing to write home about. Mine on the other hand was undercooked. The eggs appeared cooked on the surface but beneath the tomato sauce they were completely raw. The egg whites were that snotty consistency of raw egg and it wasn't just a little. Those eggs were more raw tham cooked. I dont have the best picture of it but I scooped it all out to the side and was able to get a picture of a small amount of it but all that you see in my picture on the side of the bowl was undercooked snotty egg whites mixed w a little tomato sauce. Despite that, I didn't bother returning it. Just scooped all the egg out and ate the tomatoe mixture w sourdough. We felt a bit awkward in there to begin with(not worth adding to the review why) so I didn't want to say anything to return the dish. We wouldn't go again and honestly also wouldn't recommend it. Like I mentioned even my wife's dish was just ok. So many good placed to eat in Nola, skip this one.

Absolutely yes, if you're going to be around the Garden District and doing some shopping I would definitely suggest checking them out. Really nostalgic inside, with toys and games from my childhood and lots of seating inside, upstairs and outside, but no seating until you have your number. We came pretty early in the morning, which was great because it spared us from the long line after we placed our orders. I ended up getting the grand slam mcmuffin, your basic English muffin breakfast sandwich but Bryan chose to get their fried chicken biscuit. For our drinks we opted for their celery lemon soda and a lemonade. Because we were early we found seating right away and we didn't have to wait too long because our food came out pretty fast. My sandwich was good but oh my, their friend chicken biscuit was everything. Crispy chicken skins, juicy chicken and yes it is spicy. Seriously one of the best things I've eaten on the trip. Also, I really loved that celery lemon soda, it was really refreshing and for how humid it's been that was definitely needed. Add Molly's to your trip itinerary, the food is great, it's so nostalgic inside and everyone is super friendly.

She is an amazing cook herself and she was very impressed with the creativity and innovation of the chef. I am pretty simple with breakfast. It got a biscuit, bacon, fresh-squeezed OJ and coffee. My wife got a carrot yogurt with granola, carrot puree, oranges, blueberries, and crushed mint and honey. She raved about her breakfast all day. The staff was also friendly, responsive, and efficient. We will be back.

We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and drinks at Luzianne. Minor things noted, mainly on the cook of the eggs, but nothing awful. It his the spot and checked the boxes!
