Very good for a casino cafe. There French toast is awesome. Thick, golden brown, crunchy and chewy. Very good. Burgers were super good. Tried the cowboy and something spicy with a lot of chilis. We ate here as part of a Bed and Breakfast deal at the Aquarius Hotel, so I didn't expect a whole lot (get what you pay for and all). However, I was very pleasantly surprised. This deal gave a few plate options and we both had the Belgian waffle with two eggs, hash browns, and three bacon or sausage. The Belgian waffle was perfect ... light and crisp on the outside (not pre-cooked and soft/soggy). The hash browns were nice and crisp on the outside (also not soggy as I expected). Good coffee also. Aquarius has a good deal with this $45 bed and breakfast-worth-eating thing, so I would give them a try with another meal. read more

Excellent burger here. I had the asiago burger and it just may have been one of the best burgers I have ever had. Asiago cheese sauce on the burger, swiss cheese and bacon. I passed on the bacon since it was a little under cooked for my taste. Now if only the service staff was decent. The hostess was super nice, but it stopped after she sat us. We waited 15 minutes for someone to get us drinks, BTW that was after we stopped the guy that was serving drinks and asked for some water and a pop. Next was our waiter. He was loud and obnoxious. He had his own agenda as to how our meal was going to go regardless of what we may have wanted. He would inform you that your food was still cooking but wouldn't hear you when you asked for a straw or a something to drink. So in closing we both had burgers that were super, so food was a 4 star Service gets a 2. What would make this place better.......If it was the Jettson cafe and you could type your order into the computer and the conveyor belt served you your meal then I would have given this place a 5 star. read more

I took my husband to the Aquarius for his birthday yesterday. After a day of activities we decided on the Cafe for Prime Rib dinner after viewing our options on the hotel website and hand held info provided upon check in. The published info stated they were open until 2am. We arrived at 11:42 and were told by a young man to wait a moment and he would be back to seat us. A woman approached a few minutes later who assumed was the manager who said we close in 10 minutes so you can only order take out. We asked what else was open for late dinning on a Saturday night and she had no clue. No desire to assist when we asked her to call another restaurant to find out their hours. So we decided to order the take out and take it to our room. 2 prime rib dinners and dessert. $48. We take our food upstairs and sadly discover we're missing the salads that were ordered with the meals. They're closed and no way to correct this. We tried to enjoy the food but it was cold. Cold veggies. Over cooked potatoes yet still cold. Cold prime rib. Definitely NOT worth the $56 spent. read more

The food was pretty good but the service was horrendous. The server took a little over 10 minutes to get my order. When he brought my food out he drop it on table and said "Enjoy!" turned and walked away and pretended to not hear me as he walked away. The chopped steak w/gravy was pretty good. However I don't think I will be coming back. You should not have to get up and ask for refill because the server does not come by the table or refuses to acknowledge you when you try to get his attention. read more

Up to you to decide! If you like extremely greasy hash browns, eat here! The hash browns were so greasy I couldn't eat them. I'm allergic to gluten and they refused to give an option in place of toast. Ate here for lunch and you get a huge amount of ice berg lettuce with cold cuts on top. My wife, and I were in here eating after a long day of gambling. We had a server named Irma. After finally getting our food we asked for Togo boxes. She asked if we weren't hungry anymore. We stated no you're yelling aggressively toward another employee, and were uncomfortable. She laughed, and as she walked away in Spanish she said "puto negro" which in Spanish mean f**king black. I asked for the manager. Her name was jerry. When we told her the situation she said "get real" with a big smirk on her face and said I'll take care of it but I can't give you the food. Making it sound as if we wanted free food. We never asked for that. All we wanted was the racist worker, that was already yelling at another employee to be disciplined and realize that being a racist is not okay. Just because I'm black doesn't make it okay to stereotype me, and call me racial slurs. The employee, and managers actions will make sure we never gamble here again. We recommend everyone in the black community to stay away as the racist restaurant in the Aquarius will never treat you equally, or like an American citizen. read more

We are locals here in Laughlin..we go to the Aquarius about 3 times a week..to gamble have fun ..we always ate at the cafe there prices were good even after losing,,yesterday we went there..the prices jumped sky hi for the same ffood at least 50%,,my favorite fish and chips went from 799 to 1199,,also everything else on the new menu jump way up....I know a lot of people that will stop going there..if it was a dollar jump could understand it but this is crazy...My wife and I will find another place to gamble and eat must be new insane management for the same food and new looking menu..used to like that place for the variety of slots...and friendly people..now no more..harrahs deid away with there seenior menu in the coffee shp but they brought it back hope Aquarius does the same ..Unreal read more

We are here two mornings in a row. The portions were so large that I was able to feed a family of four for $31. I usually feed two at ihop for that price. Our plates were HOT and our service was prompt. I thoroughly enjoyed every employee we interacted with! The food was pretty great in my opinion. For the price and portions and service, this is well worth it if your just looking for a good breakfast. I have no complaints! Came in for breakfast today around 9am. They were super busy but we only waited about two minutes before we were seated. Our drink order was taken right away and we were told that our server would be with us shortly. It took about 7-10 minutes before our waitress come over, but she apologized and let us know that she was running around like crazy and she was we saw her it was a mad house in there. She took our oder and let us know the kitchen was running a little behind so it might take some time before we received our food. After about 20-25 mins we finally got our food, which I have to say was absolutely delicious! I ordered the basket of chicken fingers and fries, my husband got the huevos rancheros and my brother ordered the western bacon burger. We also ordered a side of French toast for us all to share. My chicken tenders were seasoned very well and had just enough crunch to them. My hubbys plate was a good size and he enjoyed it. Now my brothers burger was huge and June super good! Over all I gave this place four stars because the waiting was just a bit much. From reading other reviews this is a common thing. Hire more people, do something! It's just such an inconvenience to have to wait 10 minutes before even getting our order down. I would definitely come back but I would peek in to see how busy it is first. read more

I would have to say that eating here was probably one of the best experiences my wife and I had while in Laughlin. We only ate here one time and it was our last morning before leaving for home, our mistake. My wife had the skillet. It was enormous and delicious. I had the New York strip and eggs. The steak was tender and cooked to perfection. We also split an order of Lox and bagel. In my opinion this was the best part of the breakfast. Again the portion was huge. At least 6 large pieces of smoked salmon, fresh sliced red onion, fresh sliced tomato and capers. Along with a toasted bagel and cream cheese. It was more than enough for one person. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The one thing that I would complain about was that there was some food, or something, stuck on the inside of my wife's water glass. I just marked the Aquarius down a star because of this restaurant. We ate two dinners here, Feb 28 and March 1, 2018. Probably the worst meals we've ever been served in a restaurant. The wait staff were inattentive, not to be found, the food literally took over 40 min each night to be served. The second night (my brother in laws choice to come back because they had had good meals there in the past), I ordered breakfast thinking they couldn't mess up dinner. The waiter was kind enough to advised not to order the biscuits because they "were hard as rocks" at this time of day. So I ordered potatoes. OMG, hard, dried out, cold pieces of cardboard. Why are they offering breakfast if they are not willing to cook breakfast?? My sister ordered the turkey dinner and when she pushed aside the gravy found a giant piece of fat that almost made her gag. My bro-in-law ordered a grilled sandwich that came out not grilled--he sent it back and it literally took another 25 min to get it again, still not grilled inside. Not one of the 8 meals served to us over two days was worthy of more than 1 to 2 stars. Add to the lack of service, the incredibly slow arrival of the meals...NEVER AGAIN. My sister and bro-in-law come to Laughlin about four times a year and they also said never again. read more

My wife and I were dining in the Cafe Aquarius on the evening of the 12th of December with my sister and brother-in-law enjoying an Aquarius Burger when on the second or third bite, I felt something like a toothpick in my mouth. When I removed the object, it was not a toothpick but a twist tie from a bread wrapper and it had been very nicely straightened and had punctured a tonsil. No damage done but some soreness for a couple of days. I called the Manager over and all she could say was "Oh no" and offer a weak apology. At that time, the manager removed the plate with the meal and twist tie on it and offered another meal at which time I told them I was done for the night. Not going to try for a second twist tie. They did however, take the burger off the ticket. Would I eat there again? Watch the weather report and when Hell freezes over!!! Here it is the day after Christmas and I am still not happy about the experience. read more
