For those of you who don't know what that is let me explain. It's a deep fried sandwich filled with ham, turkey, and melted Swiss cheese. Dusted with powdered sugar, served with boysenberry syrup. I don't usually write reviews, but I was so pleased with the service I thought it was deserved. We are a family of 4, and we shared a cinnamon roll. Definitely sized to share. The food was good, and there was a good amount for cost in today's economy. Above all, in a world where customer service has gone out the window, the service here was top-notch. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I felt it was necessary to post this because people usually post negatives. Our server, David, was awesome, very friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Irma, the owner, was so sweet and personable while we waited for our table. I went and just felt rushed. My waiter was not too attentive and left us unattended for too long a couple of times. Like, when you start wondering if he abandoned you. Yet, when he was nearing the end of his shift, he asked us to pay because he was going to leave soon or if not, somebody else will handle it. Sure enough, he comes a few moments later to see if we had our payment ready. It was the most attentive he had been to us, but only because he wanted his tip before clocking out. I think it's rude to ask to pay while you are trying to enjoy your meal. I also think it's rude to have your table bussed and wiped before you are ready to go as they did to us. read more

Came in for breakfast on Thursday with a friend. Cafe amri is located in a plaza with plenty of parking space. I was surprised this place was pretty full for a Thursday. I had the Belgium waffle combo with bacon. This was pretty good. Wished the waffle was more crispy. Bacon was really crispy and not too salty yum! The eggs were great. My friend had the Cajun pork chop and commented on how tender the meat was. Service was great. Can't remember our servers name but she came to check on us a few times. Always a good time here. I give it 4 stars because it can get VERY crowded on a Saturday morning. Since we like to eat outside, we found ourselves surrounded by hungry patrons waiting for a seat. And because there isn't really any seating for waiting patrons, they just kind of stand around amidst those who DO have a seat. Not the most peaceful way to start the weekend. I have been meaning to come here for the longest time! Finally made it. It was on a busy Saturday morning, but all in all, it was worth the wait! I would have LOVED it even 100% more if it had had chorizo in it, but I digress. It was served very hot, and the eggs and beans were excellent. My guest really liked her Chicken Fried Steak. She had brought up a good point that Chicken Fried Steak is usually hit and miss at most places, but at Cafe Amri she said it was a hit! Service was basic. They are not service dog friendly and do not know the law. They are allowed to ask 2 questions which are is this a service dog ? And what is it trained for? Instead they would rather question your disability and they are worried about complaints from customers about service dogs. I was personally insulted by the owner who questioned whether I had a disability. They need sensitivity training and training in ADA LAWS. read more

I don't believe in continuing to request the same thing over and over or ague, plus the waitress was nice and doing her best and I know she didn't make them. This was a Sunday, the vibe was just ok. Parking was good. Pricing, a little overboard for basic breakfast. Location is easy to access. My kids (one got pancakes and the other a burrito) were ok with their food. I tried it, in my opinion Denny's is cheaper and better quality unfortunately.
