Great spot! Ube pop tarts are good! The remix on the halo-halo is good! If you are looking for the classic halo-halo with all the ingredients, you won't find that here. However, like I said, the remix on the OG halo-halo is tasty. read more

It's hard to find a nice cafe to work or hang out at in Lancaster and Cafe 86 comes up as a good option. The drinks are cool and Philippine based. Honestly the drink and Ube tres leche were a bit heavy for me, but if you're a fan of those flavors and a more creamy and sweet option this is your spot. read more

Been wanting to try this place since I saw it passing by one day. Stopped in on a random Monday and loved it! If you are a big ube fan this place has all the goods! The ube bar was my favorite! I love lemon bars and it reminded me of that. The pop tart ube was pretty good. Not as good as the ube bar but I would get it again. I needed coffee and forgot the name but it was a cookie butter one, amazing! I fell in love. Can't wait to visit again and give this place another try. read more

I'm so glad Lancaster has this café! I ordered the upside-down halo halo, and it was incredible. Every layer was perfect..the rich ube flavor, halo halo at the bottom, creamy vanilla ice cream, flan on top, and Frosted Flakes all came together for the perfect bite every time. My boyfriend got the tiger tea, and since he's not into overly sweet drinks, he loved that it was perfectly balanced. We also tried the ube leche flan cupcakes, and they were so good I could've easily eaten several more. I'm already excited to come back and try more of their drinks and baked treats! read more

Too sweet! Nothing has actual ube flavor! So disappointed! I wanted to love this place.

If you're a fan of Ube, or just curious about it, this cafe is definitely worth a visit. The theme is all about purple yam, and they really lean into it with drinks and pastries that highlight that sweet, nutty flavor. I tried the classic Halo-halo and the Upside-down Halo-halo, and both were delicious. Bonus points: They're both not overly sweet, which is perfect for someone like me who can't handle dessert that tastes like a sugar bomb. There were a few other pastries that caught my eye, but I'll be saving those for my next visit, because yes, I'm already planning a return trip. Service was friendly and efficient, so I didn't have to wait long for my order, which is always a plus. My only gripes are the limited parking and a small dining area, so it can feel a bit cramped if it's busy. Also, they need to open up a branch in the West Palmdale area so I don't have to drive too far. All in all, if Ube had a fan club, this cafe would be the headquarters. The Verdict: I came for the Halo-halo, but I stayed because my soul turned purple. read more

The ube truffle and ube flan cupcake were out of this world -- perfectly balanced, rich, and full of that deep ube flavor that's hard to find done right. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put real care into their desserts. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, too! They took the time to explain their menu and even gave me a few recommendations for next time (which I'm definitely coming back for!). Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! read more

If you're looking for ube in AV, go here!! The deserts are so so good. The people were warm, friendly and helpful. I will try more when I'm in Lancaster again. (They open late, like 12ish. I wish they opened earlier.) read more

Cafe 86 is clean and the place looks new, which is a plus. However, the prices felt high. Example: an ube crinkle cookie was about $5 each, which seemed a bit much. Their "Halo-Halo" tasted more like boba with cornflakes and didn't come close to the real halo-halo flavor (in my opinion). On the brighter side, my daughter enjoyed the Cali Mango Slush. Customer service was 3/5. Will I come back? Maybe. read more

Everything was incredible! It was my first time trying anything with Ube, and the truffle was absolutely delicious, perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The cookie butter milkshake was amazing too, every sip had bits of cookie in it! And the pastrami? So flavorful and perfectly done! read more

Amazing pastries and everything with that Ube taste. I had their pop tarts, and the cheesecake bars. Everything tasted great

always sold out and they literally only sell taro i was so sad pls sell more yummy things

Unfortunately I have to express my opinion on this, I payed almost $20 for two drinks. A cookie butter latte and a sea salt one, and the coffee was horrible!!! As well as them being two different sizes , so that was confusing. As for the sea salt one, the coffee was so watered down and no flavor whatsoever it looked like sock water, and the cookie butter latter was all milk and no flavor. I'm all about supporting small businesses but this has got to be the worst coffee I've ever had. I understand it just opened and it takes a while for employees to try their best to create what's on the menu, but this was so disappointing. I drove out of my way to try this and give it a shot but it was not worth the drive. read more

10/10 clean and great items on the menu. The staff is very friendly . Already gone a handful of times. The ube milk tea is great
