Ambiance:
Nothing bad, outdoor seating is usually first come first serve. If you're in luck, there is usually nearby live music/live performer on the street as the entire Primera block (2) is closed off on Saturday and Sunday.
Service:
It's why they get a one star. Nothing against the waiter, but with management. For some odd reason after purchasing a glass of wine after a bottle purchase between 2 people, the glass was delayed for an extraordinarily long time. Just my girlfriend and I taking in the scenery, listening to the live music and seldom talk about random stuff that popped into either of our minds. By the way, the glass size is equivalent to half a standard sized wine bottle.
When waiting for ~25 minutes for asking our check, we just got up from where we sat in the outdoor seatin area. Mind you; there were multiple waiters coming and going, no one asked us nor had the idea to go, "maybe I should check on that couple to get them out of that table to get more customers in."
Management did NOT want to accept my VISA card due to them FINALLY handling me the glass of wine I ordered more than half an hour ago right at the cash register. Management said he would not accept payment until I sit back down and finish my glass of wine. Either you argue politely in a foreign country due to their reason of "we can't accept refunds because we just opened a bottle for this glass" and get a 5 star stay in a Mexican jail cell or you take their demand. So I chugged my glass of wine at the cash register as the old man groaned, begging me not to do this in front of his customers. I told the cash register attendant that do not worry, it isn't your fault. If you're reading this còmpá, I hope you're doing well.
Would I come back here again? Just like my silly cat that went up state to a farm to hang out with other kitties, that answer is going to be a definite no.
The house wine was ok, nothing to praise about. The random live music guests who set up shop in the middle of the street made the night personally well for my girlfriend and I. read more
