They people were friendly. My friend enjoyed her latte. The blueberry muffin wasn't anything special, not worse than a store bought brand. We had croque madame and eggs Benedict. My friend liked the eggs Benedict. I didn't taste it, but the potatoes that came with it were seasoned well and had the right combo of crisp and soft. I liked the potatoes. The croque madame I did not like. The brioche bread they used wasn't crusty enough for me, plus too sweet. My egg was overcooked, and the quality of ham was below my standard. It came with spring mix salad, which I personally am not a fan of. I wouldn't order it again. If I return, I would get a latte. read more

First, let me say we were originally going to Mesa Ramen Restaurant but they were closed for the weekend due to July 4th. AO we walked around and were pleasantly surprised we found Cafe Etoile. I had the Chicken and Croffle, my son had the Bugolgi Sandwich and my wife had the avocado toast. I thought the chicken and coffee was very tasty, my son ate the whole sandwich plus a couple of pieces of croffle but my wife thought the avocado toast could have been more toasted. We noticed they also served Korean Shaved Ice but we didn't have room for it but will try it next time. Service was good. Prompt, pick up food, no table service. A nice spot to check out for breakfast or lunch. They have a seating area inside as well as some outdoor seating which i enjoyed. The service is fast, the staff is nice, and the food is delicious. I got the breakfast croissant sandwich with bacon and my friend got the bacon and egg croffle- both were really good. Not too much to report here! Straight forward breakfast spot with a French flair - there are a handful of croissant items on the menu. I had the croissant breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg and avocado, both of my friends had the chicken and croffle. They both really liked their meals -- the syrup was slightly spiced which they both enjoyed. My sandwich was just OK -- it was really hot and a bit hard to eat because it fell apart fairly quickly, so I ended my meal using a fork and knife. The crowd was very mixed -- you order your food then sit in an open seating styled room where the larger tables are commonly shared. Price wise this is an affordable place -- the core meals are basic, it's when you start adding items things start to rack up ($8 for eggs and cheese, add $5.50 for bacon and avocado) -- my sandwich and latte was $20. When you consider the seating style and the long list of drinks including some boba drinks, I think this is more catered to the college students in the area. My friends and I hung out for a while here and I saw many college students posted up with laptops after the early morning family crowd phased out. read more

My friend and I both had the eggs Benedict and were disappointed. It comes on ciabatta bread rather than English muffin, which could be fine except that the bread was cold. The hollandaise sauce was very buttery texture with almost no lemon, so very bland. The other food in our party, chicken and croffles (croissant-based waffles) were fairly good, as was the mocha. However, we were disturbed that the staff restocked the communal tubs of silverware with dirty utensils. Overall, it's a decent choice if you want a coffee shop to hang out with your laptop, as many people were doing, but I cannot recommend it for a meal. read more

Unfortunately, I think this place is more cut out to be a cafe rather than cafe+restaurant. It's pretty chaotic here on a Sunday afternoon. The cashier seemed new and didn't know how to put in orders on the register (had to ask another coworker). Once ordered, there's no way of knowing if your food is going to come because there's no number system, esp if you opt for the digital receipt. The barista just yells your drink out (like Starbucks) and food order. So you can't really be at peace waiting for your food at your table because you don't know when your food is going to be called out or if someone else mistakenly took yours. In our case, we waited 35 min after ordered and had to go up to the counter multiple times to check on our order. And every time they yell something, we have to look over and see if it's ours. It's also very loud because the space is just not big and tables are close together. I can listen to all the conversation around me, while waiting, hungry, for our food. It was such a bad experience overall. Several tables kept asking for their food at the counter and it was just a mess. And I'm positive people that came after us that ordered the same thing got their food before us. One girl next to us waited even longer just for scrambled eggs! We ended up asking for a refund and just left after being ignored several times. It's too bad, for what could've been. read more

We had two missing items from our order, one of which was charged and one which was not (which was strange considering how long we talked about it with the cashier).
