I LOVE Caesar's it's one of my favorite places to get fried chicken. The flavor is like no other and its crispy and juicy. It's soooo good. The menu is pretty limited but the spaghetti is pretty good it has a really distinct flavor not your usual spaghetti but very different in a good way. I wish this place was more like a dine in restaurant and that they would expand their menu. They also lose point for changing ownership. The chicken is still really good but when the previous owners were there I feel like it tasted even better. Either way I very much recommend this place. read more

Pretty damn good fried chicken. I ended up getting the 3 piece with fries and a cole slaw on the side. The batter is a bit greasy, but not overly so. The chicken itself was very tasty and juicy....cooked just right. Since the thigh is dark meat, it was a bit greasier than the leg and breast. Not a fan of that piece, but the leg was better and the all white meat breast was amazing! Next time i'll probably just get two breasts since that definitely seemed the way to go. read more

I selected this place to feed my baby shower guests that I had a party at the Kennedy park across the street since they have a catering menu. I called a few days in advance and ordered 100 pieces of chicken a large pan of spaghetti and 6 loaves of garlic bread. Everything turned out great. Most disgusting food, waste of money and time. My family has been a fan of this place for several years, but this is the last time for us, I hope they shut down soon. The chicken has a thin, extremely thin coat of batter and it's clearly fried in cold oil bcs it's is far from crunchy, It is soggy, little flavor and not appetizing at all. Their spaghetti is a joke, a pint of noddles w/ 1/4 cup of nasty sauce- no meat what so ever- bland and disgusting. Sad that the previous owner's great legacy is being used by this cheap new owner- DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! KFC IS a far better choice than this place. Caesar's Chicken - Nasty soggy chicken - Fast Food Near Me - Hayward, California

I am very disappointed with my visit today. It took almost 20 minutes to get my food, then when I did get it they forgot my garlic bread. They finally gave me the bread and off to the park to munch. When my wife and I opened up everything, we found that the garlic bread was not done and the bread was very stale. I ordered fries and they were soggy, cold and tasted like grease! I will have to say that the chicken was pretty good, well cooked, juicy and flavorful. The time before it was a bit salty. Overall I fear that the place is on a downhill slide, only kids working that are very unprofessional. I want to come back but I am getting tired of not being treated well and then to wait for a really long time for food that might be hit or miss. read more

Had the Chicken Dinner Meal, which included pieces of chicken(thigh, wing, breast, leg), coleslaw, slice of sourdough bread, and spaghetti. Unfortunately, the highlight of this meal was the spaghetti and bread. Both were warm and very fresh tasting! My husband and I recently used Caesar's Chicken to cater our son's first birthday party. We received excellent service. We went to the restaurant two days in advance to place a fairly large order. (300 pieces chicken, 2 large ravioli, 2 large potato salad) Knowing they are usually busy during lunch time, we went in around 2pm to avoid crowds. The lady taking our order was happy to answer our questions and accommodate special requests to separate large orders into smaller containers. All food was ready for pick up at the promised time and packaged very securely. Our guests enjoyed their food very much. A relative is planning to use their catering services for a future party. My family and I grew up with Caesar's Chicken. It's the best chicken I have ever tasted. I haven't been here in over 12 years . Still the same recipe from over 40 years or so ago. But beware. It is very salty and on the spicey side.The spaghetti tastes exactly the same. Loved it!! I couldn't afford to go here on a regular basis. Very expensive. $46.99 for 20 pieces of chicken, 2 quarts of spaghetti and 1/2 loaf of french bread is very pricey to me. But it was well worth it. I'll be back.... Thank you Caesar's. Usually i'm a little more leanient with family run businesses but this needs to be pointed out. I was craving some GOOD chicken, so after checking out the reviews for this place.. we drove up from Fremont to try it out. Ordered a 4 piece meal which came with coleslaw and a piece of bread. The guy told us that I couldnt upgrade my side of bread to garlic so we just ended up wasting a piece of bread. Ordered a half loaf of garlic bread and a 10 piece of "party wings". We should have paid attention here because everytime i asked for hot wings, the guy would say, "party wings". After about 5-6 min, our order was up and we busted it out on one of the two tables in the "dining area". As we began to dig in, another customer arrived and asked for hot wings and again the cashier replied, "party wings". I grabbed hold of one of the "party wings".... and it became evident that these were no ordinary wings. They were breaded wings which were litterally SOAKED in their hot sauce. The breading was already turning to mush and when i bit into it, there was no longer a crunch from the breading. It was a huge mess, i guess that this is where the term "party" comes from. The sauce was also not so great. It was very tangy.. almost too tangy. The part that suprised me though was when i found that the center of my wings were frozen. Ice cold! The outside was almost too hot to hold, but inside was still frozen. Logic would point to a raw chicken if it was still cold inside, but it was completely cooke! No pink at all. So it looks like they just re-heated whatever they had left over from earlier. I ended up tossing about half of my party wings into the trash where the after party was taking place. The fried chicken although was very crunchy but didnt have a nice golden color. it was more brown than anything. The breading was overly salted and I just didnt enjoy it at all. The side of garlic bread we ordered had no garlic bite and the flavor was lacking, but at least it was properly toasted. The side of coleslaw was also nothing special. I felt scammed by other yelpers... I think it's a nostalgia type place... for people who grew up eating it. I'd never come back. read more

Okay it's more like 3.5 stars for me. After living in the area for nearly 4 years, I finally got around to trying this place. Not that this place needs any more reviews from yelpers but hey, I might as well put in my two sense. Like everyone else, I agree this place is better than KFC's and Popeyes combined. It's almost as good as Roscoe's chicken but a tad salty to my liking. So, I usually opt for a breast piece to avoid sodium overload and water retention. I have to say it's pretty tasty. Now for the down side, its a little pricey for a whole in the wall spot. The spaghetti is just bleh. I suspect the potato salad is the Will's brand from Costco. They charge you around $3 for a pint but don't bother when you can get quadruple the amount for $5 at Costco. This is still a cool spot for take out and a quick fried chicken dinner when you aren't in the mood for cooking - especially on a busy week night. read more

Best Fried Chicken EVER!! Hands down. My buddy and I would drive out from San Francisco at least a few times a month to get a taste of this greatness. A bit expensive but totally worth it. Order a 20 piece bucket so you can have some in your fridge for a few days afterwards. Eating it cold is unbelievably tasty. Both spicy and orginal are awesome but I usually prefer original with white meat. But throw a few dark meat in my bucket as well, why not? I just moved to Seattle and I dream about this place on a daily basis. Real talk. Everything else on the menu is just so so in my opinion. The fries are subpar, ravioli is not bad, french bread is decent. I don't know what their recipe is but its pretty much "off the hook". Good lord I love Caesar's Chicken. i'm diggin this joint. but I thought the chicken was a little bit pricy, or is it just me? We ordered the 10pc family bucket ($19.99), it came with hella french bread and spaghetti. I tried both the original and the spicy. I didn't think it was as salty as what other people thought. I wish the spicy could have a little bit more flavor. but all in all, we saw at least 4 people walk out with their take out. we only waited ten minutes for our food!! Also, can you guys put a sign that says no bums allowed, then again we are in Hayward, It's just a little uncomfortable so have "homeless people" come up to wanting to "ask you a question" for money, while you're waiting for your food. read more

Thought I was coming to a mom and pop owned place. The service and quality is at fast food level. That's why it's only 2 stars. No personality no atmosphere. I got yesterday's chicken for sure... Frozen fries... Canned and bottle drinks only... Someone must have bought this place from the original owners as an investment.
