Best Onion Rings I've had in two years! Ranch Dressing was the bomb!!!!

Amazing Onion Rings! Fresh and Super Hot! Crunch was pure perfection! Didn't try any entree. Maybe next stop! Adore the service! Amazing and attentive! Yummy!

This place is under rated! Especially for their spicy fried chicken burger. I came in and ordered with the nicest older gentleman and then waited for like 8 minutes and my order was ready. The picture does not do the sandwich justice, it is DELICIOUS! The burger comes with all the fixings but all I asked for was red onions. This is the first time I have ever seen the fried chicken sandwich have a bigger chicken piece than the buns. I am a huge fan of this place and will be coming back! Just know if you ask for the spicy chicken sandwich, they make it SPICY!! lol but very good and only $12! Win win win!!

Their menu. Prices are pretty reasonable.

If you are looking for no frills but a solid place for food near the airport, this is the place to come. This place alcaught our eye because it has Korean fried chicken but is also a burger joint. Curiosity won out. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. My friend and I got Korean fried chicken sweet and spicy, 10 pieces and it was pretty darn solid. It was delicious, crispy and flavorful. I got the Chili burger was intense and huge! I wasn't expecting it to come with so much chili and I won't complain! It was too salty for me but as a burger, it was delicious! I might have ended up liking the chili more just because I like chili. My friend got pastrami and they said it was as expected so you'll get a solid sandwich. It came with pickled jalapenos that were unique in a good way. There is plenty of parking and it is near the airport where you go to rent cars.

Lol this place really does feel OG and it's fitting that it's called "Original" Giant Burger. There were like construction workers getting lunch here so I knew it was a good spot lol. Fair prices and good food that hits the spot. This was close to the airport so I came here when I picked up family from the airport and they wanted to eat burgers lol. I wanted to try a local spot, and of course sadly In n Out is not a local option anymore. All the food was good. The service was funny and they were accommodating to our many questions and requests. Just be careful they might charge for little things, just clarify if something is an additional charge or not. I had a chili cheese dog lol, my parents had burgers. All the condiments are available on the side like hot sauce and ketchup. Everything hit the spot. Come support your good ol' fashioned, mom and pop, local burger spot!

Decided to come to this burger place, which is also known for its fried wings along with their fish and chips. There is actually more to the menu than that and they have a breakfast menu as well. This place sits directly under the flightpath of the Oakland airport. It's a small Mom and pop operation with less than a dozen tables inside. Not the most cleanest of places with plenty of flies buzzing around inside. Nonetheless, that doesn't stop this place from being popular. I decided to keep it simple with a bacon cheeseburger, and an order of onion rings. You can help yourself to a table full of condiments situated next to an antiquated fountain machine. The burger was decent and pretty much on par with In-N-Out and much better than McDonald's. The onion rings here are seven dollars a serving, but they were pretty much worth it. Despite being a little rough around the edges, this place delivers up some decent grub, which is better than some of the fast food chains. When you check out, the tip screen won't be waiting for you, but it will be on the receipt you sign when using your credit card. Informative photos included for added dimension.

Food is delicious, would not expect this is my acupuncturist did not tell me about this place. The Korean Fried Chicken is authentic. We spoke to the cashier, seemed like he is the owner. He was very friendly. The soy garlic and honey butter were both flavorable. Not too salty, sweet, or too overly crunchy. The hamburger was good. The fish burger was tasty, no fishy or stale taste. Ambiance is a normal burger joint, old style, clean. Hole in the wall, little mom and pop shop. Convenient location too, lots of parking. Will get take out again if in the same vicinity.

Amazing burger, check this place out if you are a burger lover, only thing is they put too much lettuce so ask for light lettuce. Other than that 10/10 burger. I got the teriyaki burger just to try something different and man oh man, loved it

Two Half Crispy Fried Combos - Soy Garlic (top) and Sweet & Spicy (bottom)

I got a soft spot for mom and pop shops and this is the epitome of it. Don't come here expecting a refined meal as the place feels like a run down diner with no AC and old school booths and tables for dining in, but the workers are friendly and ready to serve. Food-wise they're a bit confused, but we were happy enough with our fried chicken entrees (pretty much Korean fried chicken). We got two half Crispy Fried Combos - one in Soy Garlic and the second in Sweet & Spicy and both were fried extremely well. We also got a free little bonus appetizer of deep fried rice cakes when the cashier (assuming the owner) asked if we enjoyed spicy food and we said yes. This type of establishment feels like the businesses that make a city's personality and builds community so I'd happily support them again in the future.

Ordered online, went to pick up order and left. Realized missing a burger from the order, called them and he offered to make the missing order but I asked if he could refund me m, took like 2 days but he did it. Eats... had the double cheeseburger and the fries chicken. The double cheeseburger was huge and it hit the spot that I was craving for. It was messy but that's how I like it. The fried chicken we got in the mild sweet and spicy. We got huge drumsticks as well as flats. It was very tasty.

This inexpensive burger, hot dog, breakfast place has been here for years and they've recently gone thru a change where they have added KFC - Korean Fried Chicken! Who doesn't know or love KFC?!? The National food of South Korea! Or is it Japchae or Kimchee or Kalbi or.... Well if you watch a lot of K-Dramas you'll know that S Koreans love their fried chicken: Original or you can get the American concoction of: Soy Garlic, Sweet & Spicy, Cheddar, Honey Butter, or Garlic. From WS?!? The place is across from the Oakland Metro Golf Links & Range and down the road from the San Leandro Dump on busy Doolittle - Convenient divey location for all the local businesses. Don't expect clean but expect comfort food. We had the Soy Garlic 7 Piece of Drums and Wings which were good for the price and convenience of having nothing similar around for miles. We also used the gloves to protect our hands from getting smelly or sticky. Hamburgers are quarter pound and decent. A good place to pick up food for your flight out of Oakland Airport.

    McDonald's?? No, Giant Burger
    Steve G.

Giant Burger used to be one of my favorites for great service and good food at reasonable prices. No more. The ownership changed and they've slid downhill astonishingly fast. I still went in as the cook was a carryover, so for a while the food was the same. The new owners raised prices and added Korean fried chicken. This past visit was rock bottom. I ordered my usual Denver omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast. The omelet was terrible. Undercooked, no meat. The toast was not toasted, just tasted like regular white bread. Worst the "hash browns" were just 2 McDonald's-like patties. Man, I could cook this crap better at home. The new owner gets easily confused and doesn't seem to be able to handle the register. Anything out of the ordinary like "hold the onions" seems to confuse him. He was arguing with the guy in front of me about the price of his breakfast sandwich because he wanted to substitute turkey for ham. The lady owner stepped in and charged the correct amount. High prices, lousy food, and rude customer service. It pains me to say, but you've lost this customer forever.

The staff was cordial and friendly, and the chicken-themed decor, charming. Now it IS a chicken joint, the go-to chicken spot for my full carnivore friend. He loves them for their chicken, their inexpensive menu and their large portions. I'm mostly pescatarian, though I do sometimes cheat with bacon. (I always feel SO guilty afterwards too!) I ordered the honey mustard salad with bacon and no chicken. My friend ordered the chicken Mac n cheese and tater tots. The bill came up to $30, and the portions were good on on the salad, GREAT on the tater tots and decent on the chicken mac. I can't speak personally on the chicken but my friend says it's amazing. I tasted some of his Mac n cheese with no chicken, and it was really good and flavorful, nice and cheesy. I tasted his tater tots. They were plentiful, well-seasoned and fried to golden perfection, with a nice crunch. I ate all of my salad. My friend couldn't finish his chicken Mac or his tater tots and was happy to be able to take them to go for another meal. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place.

I have been here twice and it's been pretty run of the mill. I would say the chicken they use for…read morethe sandwiches...and probably the strips....and probably the salad, is actually really good. It was hot and thick and juicy when it came out. The fries were decent, but likely just some standard frozen fries. The ranch was also really good, but $.50 each small sized cup. My biggest gripe was the service and the state of the restaurant. In the booth we sat in there was an electrical outlet is hanging out of the wall and the booths are in need of cleaning. We had to use the bathroom, and the soap was out. The staff member brought a new one, but didn't know how to install it so it just sat on top of paper towels. Not a huge deal but bruh, figure it out. The guy was nice enough, but just sat and watched his phone when no one was at counter. There was also another guy, maybe from the kitchen (?) hanging out behind the counter sometimes as well. All while tables needed wiping, the bus tub was FULL with dishes, or either of them could have tried to get the soap installed. If there was no one at counter or food to cook it was stand around and stare at our phones. It's just sad Just a subpar experience for as much as food costs these days. Train the staff to stay busy and know how to bus tables and clean. And if you ever order the BLT chicken sandwich make sure to ask for no BBQ sauce. Yuk.

I knew it was gonna be fire when I smelled it being cooked, but when Jamea said try this before you go, it was confirmed. You don't ask people to try your food in front of you if it ain't fire lol. 10/10 flavor wise on both plates. Noodle portions are large enough to share but you're going to want to eat the wings alone; they're so good you won't want to share, so get plenty. All orders are to go, but you might just want to eat it in the car it's so good. And expect to wait the time you would for a one woman show holding it down (POP). It's in the deep East, and that is what it is, nothing more, nothing less. ESO ambiance - check. All I can say is you definitely want to try Try Dat. Located (usually) on the corner of Seminary & Mac Arthur in front of the Valero, you might just pass by this unassuming (but beautifully colored & vibey) food truck without thinking twice, and you'd be missing a true gem. The menu has a surprising, but not at all overwhelming, selection for being in a food truck, and Miss Jamea (The Boss with the Sauce) does not play at all with these flavors.
