I really enjoy the pizza and salad from Cacciatore's. I'm a regular here and I actually get the house salad and fried chicken cutlet more than anything else on the menu (I love it that much). I can't speak to the other menu items too much however, the pizza is always hot and fresh. The employees behind the counter are always friendly and warm. First time ordering takeout for lunch. Got a plain slice, chicken & roasted pepper calzone, an order of sweet potato fries, and assorted other items for my customers, which I did not sample. Pizza slice had a great thin crust with a crunch, and the right amount of sauce and cheese. Sweet potato fries were good and reasonably priced. The calzone could have been better. As soon as I arrived from college my parents begged me to try this pizza place, something I found weird because my Italian dad usually doesn't recommend Italian places, but this was really good. Rosemary is always a pleasure to deal with. She always knows our order and makes sure we get our pies just the way we like iem'. My one kid is picky and always makes up his own dinner. They have been more than helpful in accommodating his wants and have gone above and beyond to make him happy. This is the only place we ever order our pizza from. I had to delete my previous review in thoughts I'd return and per chance like it. the only upside to this spot is children sized spaghetti meals that are ample (why people can't make their own noodles at home confuses me), and ordering online. the pizza is less than interesting, chicken is too thick and not edible in most dishes, and all heroes lack meat whereas the lettuce or veggies are piled on. tons of great other pizza spots that have enthused employees with a bit of thought behind their heads. each time I came here the kid employees were more interested in hanging out with lingering friends than really putting effort into orders. read more

I have had enough with this place. I have been ordering for years. They have been declining in time. Today was the last of it. I ordered online 1 plain slice and mussels. Mussels were for me and super salty. But the slice i ordered was for my 3 year old. Instead they sent white pie slice. Which for me would be fine but if your a parent you know getting a 3 year old to eat something they weren't expecting is slim to none. Well it was none. So i called in and apologized for making them fix the order and we waited. An hour and a half went by and nothing so i called again and explained my 3 year old was waiting for their dinner and that again "i was sorry" for their mistake. moved to NYS in 2017, after trying 3 or 4 places we've stuck with them, good pizza, subs , antipasto, and most entrees, 35 varieties of pizza tried 15 all decent. only complaint is no mussels on menu. This place used to be better. I've come here for years buts it's gone downhill for some time now. I won't be coming here any more. I asked for 2 large pies crispy, with fresh garlic. The garlic is virtually non existent (they say they added it; when I order AND pay for fresh garlic, it's because I want to taste it). Makes sense right? There is nothing crispy or well done about the pizza; if anything it's a bit soggy. When I called to complain about the pizza not being crispy as requested, as well as the lack of garlic, they simply said they made it as ordered and nothing else was said, done or offered in response to my complaint. The person on the phone was kind, but overall seemed disinterested in making things better. I didn't bother to mention t, but the gluten free pizza option should be better. My family and I have been ordering from Cacciatores at least once a week for the past year. Today was our last time. We ordered a veggie calzone. On their website, it says veggie calzone with a list of veggies to order for $.75 each. So I ordered the mushrooms and spinach. There is no description listed next to this item. When I got the order, the calzone was stuffed with broccoli and onions. When I called them​ to tell them it was incorrect, they said that I should have known it came with those veggies even though there was no description. Am I missing something? The owner basically told me it was too bad. I mentioned that they should update their website to include descriptions and he said yeah ok. The pizza is very greasy, and bland. Rude staff, ordered in and got the total price. Walked into the store and the cashier asked for 20 dollars higher that what was said on the phone. When I said it wasn't what I was told on the phone the lady got defensive and rude and rolled her eyes and skipped to the next customer and made me wait.. Ended up paying the higher price. Staff needs to be friendlier and need to know how much things are for phone orders. At the very least be nice to the customer and apologize instead of being rude and unfriendly. read more

I usually order a chicken cutlet sandwich no more than 8.95 when I'm at work. Today I was charged $11 bucks and the explanation was 75cents for lettuce, tomato and onions and cheese for an additional 75cents?! I usually judge a pizzeria by how good their plain slices are. The pizza here is OK. We started ordering here about a year and change ago and since then the pizza quality has gone down. Their chicken wings are my favorite and those are delicious as usual. Their calzones are decent, and the salads are pretty good. My main problem is the service. They mix up our orders a lot (we order online a lot) and there have been times where we ordered a pepperoni or sausage pie only to receive a plain one. This has happened about three times (it was in a 2 week span). Ordering over the phone works a lot better but if they offer the option to order online it should be useful. Haven't ordered from there in a while, hoping that when we get a craving for it and go back that it would have improved. read more

I have been getting 'less than desirable' orders lately, so I decided to give him a call. HE WOULD NOT TAKE MY CALL OR CALL ME BACK! My chopped salads arrived LIMP, and HOT. My pizza was burnt on the bottom and the spaghetti and meatballs looked like it was somebody else's leftovers thrown in a container. For company to say, "Wow, this is pretty old pizza" that's pretty bad. I have been a loyal customer to this man, but NO MORE.
