Great people and great food. Not a ton of options around here. This is our new favorite.

This is my second trip and after the first trip and todays this was very necessary! This is a…read morepizzeria you can come to and the people remember you and show love. It's a small spot a few tables, tv's and coolers for drinks. It's feels like nostalgia in the best ways without feeling dingy. Ordered a Large pepperoni Pizza, beef patty and zeppoli's. The pizza has a great flavor that compliment by a little spice to the pepperoni. Each bite goes so well and the pizza bone aka crust, is great. Kind of crust you enjoy to eat vs tossing it aside. The beef patty was cooked right and the zeppolis slap! Price is right. Try this local spot out, 5/5 stars

I swear it was microwaved... the cheese had this rubbery oily taste and the meat tasted like plastic leather... no way this was heated up in the oven. Mushroom pizza was lackluster. Mushrooms were not fresh but canned, could smell it immediately, and taste verified it, and crust was just average. Cheese tasted cheap quality.. only redeeming aspect was that sauce was well seasoned and not sweet. I don't enjoy giving a bad review but the Stromboli wa just downright shameful.... It could not even be eaten... it was literally inedible and gave indigestion all night, and the pizza was not much better considering what the local competition offers. Prices are cheap, and people at counter were nice, but can't return for the food quality.

The sauce-to-cheese ratio tilted too much to the sauce, which was also too sweet for my taste. The mixed fries (half regular and half spicy) were very very good. Oh and the self-serve computer-based ordering was simple, the best I've ever used.

I've been cautiously investigating the options near my office, and this to me is the best pizza I've found in the vicinity though honestly it's not that amazing. We've ordered delivery from here once, and I also stopped in earlier this week for a lunchtime sit-down experience. I like their set-up in here - it's very clean, spiffy and spacious. It's directly connected with the Evergreen kosher supermarket, so it's easy to overlook if you're not a regular patron over here. When I came in, I appeared to be the only non-Orthodox on the premises, and I imagine that would be the case most of the time - that said, I didn't feel like an outsider (there are a few places around here admittedly where I have) and the people behind the counter were perfectly pleasant and accommodating. There are quite a few self-serve kiosks to order from, enough where I initially assumed you couldn't order face to face with anyone. I confirmed that wasn't the case after the fact, but the kiosks WERE easy to use. For what it's worth, I've noticed at a few of these kosher establishments that there seem to be an unusually high number of self-serve options; not sure if that's coincidental or not. Regardless, doesn't hurt to have an additional choice if needed. This is not my go-to type of pizza - I'm a snobbier Neapolitan wood-fired or hipster Detroit style creature by and large and it's unusual for me to take a liking to a mainstream, cheaper slice. The visual was the initial selling point here. I like that the typical slice here appears to be slightly well done, which is my preference. Not only that, I think this is the only time I've specifically been given the choice of selecting well done as an option when ordering. Nice touch. It would have been stunning if this had been an issue, but predictably my order was ready to go within about two or three minutes after being heated up. The pizza itself is fine. Its weakest point is the sauce, which is noticeably and way too sweet, and the crust is a bit too chewy/doughy. I do at least like the consistency of the sauce for the most part - I do NOT like chunks in the sauce, and this was pretty smooth though I did take out a few slices of tomato skin (I guess that would be the term?). The cheese is the star here as far as I'm concerned, especially since it is a little burnt on the top, which to me adds a nice little flavoring zip. The neighboring supermarket has a reputation for being very overpriced - I actually wandered in to get a coffee afterwards and my jaw almost fell on the floor at some of the prices of the Hanukkah chocolate - but the price point within the pizza place is very decent. I think each of my slices was about $3.75 or so, which in this environment you'll likely take any day. You could do worse than Pies N' Fries.
