This is the only place my partner would order their chicken parm from. I've got to say it was some great chicken parm pizza! The beef patty and the cheese and pepperoni roll were really good as well! Nice workers! Area is clean. Food is not overpriced!

I'm admittedly grading on a bit of a curve given the location, but I've been very pleased the two times I've ordered from here. There are a TON of pizza places in the area, but I'm finding it's best to look at some of the secondary menu offerings. Case in point, the heros/sandwiches at Mr. Crispy's are the selling point - they dominate the menu compared to the pizza options, and they offer half-sizes, which is perfect for me. (Full disclosure - I have not had the pizza but based solely on superficial optics, it does not look like my jam.) I stopped by most recently this past week for lunch. Mr. Crispy's (like almost every establishment within a 10-mile radius) is located in a strip mall with some other lunchtime spots as well. I ordered from here a few months ago with a co-worker, who didn't get what she asked for, but said that they took down her name if I wanted to reference it for a free meal. Classy when places do that. The girl behind the counter was very friendly, so I figured I'd at least ask about that since it seemed a bit odd that they'd keep track of free meals just by jotting down the customer name in lieu of, say, providing a coupon or something. They literally had a notebook by the counter with all of the names, which cracked me up. I chose to pay for my own meal rather than seriously pursue that, but hey - it's a system. I ordered the half-hero size chicken parm ($5.75). As mentioned, perfect portion and a very competitive price point for what you're getting. I'm not a huge connoisseur of subs/heros since they tend to be pretty heavy, so the only direct comp I have is a place in Jersey City called Milano's, which is well regarded for these types of sandwiches. Honestly though? I prefer this one. Milano's has super fresh, practically dripping mozzy on theirs (the one obvious upside), but I really love that Mr. Crispy's toasts the bread pretty hardcore before serving. Gives it a nice crunch/slight char, the only downside being that every bite ends up like a Nature Valley bar, with crumbs cascading down in front of you. Napkins should be handy. I also like that the chicken is kind of shredded, not one or two hunks; that's certainly personal preference though. The cheese IS a little heavy/thick for me, but it does end up evening out with the decent portion size, and I like that the sauce is very much a subtle secondary player here. The restaurant itself is pretty non-descript - it looks like every other blue collar, by the slice pizza place - but it offers seating with a big window in the front if you want to gaze out at the parking lot while you munch (I chose to catch up on the breaking news on the NY Post website on my phone). The service is also top-notch. Not only was the counterperson/server friendly, but it took less than five minutes to get my sandwich, and she urged me to get the lunch special, which was the same exact price but included a soda/bag of chips - they easily could have saved the minimal inventory. Very pleasant little spot, and I will be returning shortly.

The pizza was good from this place in the past. Tonight I picked up 2 pies for $58. A Sicilian Pepperoni & a Buffalo chicken pizza that appeared too large to fit in the box. So what do you do when the pizza is too large, you fold it so it fits. I called to let them know that I was not happy with the condition of the pizza. All they could offer is an apology. Never again will they see a $$ of my money. Both pizzas were very soggy!

Disgusting. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and the Buffalo sauce was basically ketchup , they over stuffed the wrap and it fell apart in my hand. The fries are bland and soggy, I'm glad I ordered 1 instead of 2 cause it was legit garbage , and I asked for bacon inside the wrap ... they gave me bacon in a small plastic cup

Food is really good but when I'm trying to call to place an order I would like to not be on hold for 10 minutes. Work on that please.

I've been cautiously investigating the options near my office, and this to me is the best pizza I've found in the vicinity though honestly it's not that amazing. We've ordered delivery from here once, and I also stopped in earlier this week for a lunchtime sit-down experience. I like their set-up in here - it's very clean, spiffy and spacious. It's directly connected with the Evergreen kosher supermarket, so it's easy to overlook if you're not a regular patron over here. When I came in, I appeared to be the only non-Orthodox on the premises, and I imagine that would be the case most of the time - that said, I didn't feel like an outsider (there are a few places around here admittedly where I have) and the people behind the counter were perfectly pleasant and accommodating. There are quite a few self-serve kiosks to order from, enough where I initially assumed you couldn't order face to face with anyone. I confirmed that wasn't the case after the fact, but the kiosks WERE easy to use. For what it's worth, I've noticed at a few of these kosher establishments that there seem to be an unusually high number of self-serve options; not sure if that's coincidental or not. Regardless, doesn't hurt to have an additional choice if needed. This is not my go-to type of pizza - I'm a snobbier Neapolitan wood-fired or hipster Detroit style creature by and large and it's unusual for me to take a liking to a mainstream, cheaper slice. The visual was the initial selling point here. I like that the typical slice here appears to be slightly well done, which is my preference. Not only that, I think this is the only time I've specifically been given the choice of selecting well done as an option when ordering. Nice touch. It would have been stunning if this had been an issue, but predictably my order was ready to go within about two or three minutes after being heated up. The pizza itself is fine. Its weakest point is the sauce, which is noticeably and way too sweet, and the crust is a bit too chewy/doughy. I do at least like the consistency of the sauce for the most part - I do NOT like chunks in the sauce, and this was pretty smooth though I did take out a few slices of tomato skin (I guess that would be the term?). The cheese is the star here as far as I'm concerned, especially since it is a little burnt on the top, which to me adds a nice little flavoring zip. The neighboring supermarket has a reputation for being very overpriced - I actually wandered in to get a coffee afterwards and my jaw almost fell on the floor at some of the prices of the Hanukkah chocolate - but the price point within the pizza place is very decent. I think each of my slices was about $3.75 or so, which in this environment you'll likely take any day. You could do worse than Pies N' Fries.
