Our go to Friday night Pizza place! Great food and service ! Many other wonderful entrees available- can't go wrong!

Pizza ok on a scale of 1-10 I give it a 5 I was 50-50 % on the pizza basically because I'm not that crazy about the sauce lack of seasoning and flavor even when adding your own and very greasy a lot of grease rolled down my hand and my kids hands used a stack of napkins to blot up the grease on the pizza slices. I doubt I'll go back especially since there's a lot of pizzeria restaurants in Mahopac nothing so far beats the one on route 6 not naming it on purpose to be respectful to this business. Beef patty was good though here with cheese read more

Another pizza review for me, now Cacciatori's in Mahopac. I have never actually been to the restaurant, funny enough, but I assume it is good, but not NEARLY good as their pizza. I was at a birthday party about a month or so ago, and turns out they were ordering pizza from Cacciatori. I started it off simple, with a plain slice, and oh brother, it fit all pizza categories I look for, the undercarriage was unbeatable, did not have a crunch, but a really good BITE. The cheese had great taste, wasn't hanging off the edge, was just another highlight of this. The crust didn't have like that doughiness, had a slight crisp but had that just BITE to it. If I could give higher than a great on Yelp, I would. I totally reccommend ordering from here, and even they delivered pretty fast. Way to go "Cacciatori" read more

I probably wouldn't order anything else, but by the slice no one compares. They have the best cheese slice you could ever order. I enjoy it so much. read more

I recently ordered angel hair pasta with bolognese. I originally reviewed this is a bad experience but I want to let you know that the owner made good on the meal and replaced the entire thing. He understood my concerns and I appreciate that. I have been a customer for many many years and because of a bad experience I was ready to quit. The owner went above and beyond making it right for me. read more

Love Cacciatori pizza because they know crispy. This is what they do! Their point of difference. I housed almost the whole small pep last night. Pizzeria setting. Service is friendly and always plenty of people working. read more

Cacciatori did it again! If you like white pizza, you have to try the one with tomato on top it's absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. I'm usually not a fan of warm tomatoes, but this completely changed my mind. Wow! Getting this every time I come! read more

Food is always good and excellent service. I usually call ahead but delivery time isn't bad. The food is still hot when it arrives.

We love this place. It's not fine dining but everything is good. Their sauce is good, every time we order takeout it's accurate and quick. And it's done well. read more

Had pizza here yesterday and it was really delicious. Had the eggplant rollatini pizza. The eggplant was perfectly thin and crispy and the pizza was cooked to perfection. Not doughy! The bottom was crispy. They should sell the crispy breaded eggplant as a side it was delish!!! read more

Wowee! Enjoyed the large pizza-exceptionally big and so so delicious. Great customer service-able to order many toppings and vegan cheese. Great prices, great pizza! read more

I ordered a gluten free pizza. Now these pizzas comes with with the gluten free pie crust pre made. Just need to add sauce, cheese and topping and put in oven. I ordered cheese gluten free pie. It was takeout. Picked it up and brought it home. When I opened the box and started to eat it realized it was not fully cooked- crust was a bit chewy and cheese not 100% melted. Well I was not happy but I made due and ate the pie over 2 days. My point here is that food should be properly cooked. This was not a terrible order but the expectation is that it will be prepared properly. Plus any gluten free pizza or item is more expensive than its regular counterpart. Not sure if I'll order another gluten free pizza here again. read more

These slices are so small. I need a nice size slice. I normally eat two slices but here I have to get four slices to feel content

Not sure what happened here, but this USED TO be an amazing pizza joint. The guys there knew my favorites, brought me garlic knots while I waited and were personable and friendly. They made you feel like family and I really enjoyed going there. The place must have changed hands. Patsy and Sal are missing and the new crew is just sarcastic and rude. It's become just another pizza place and not even worth it. I don't bother going here anymore. read more

Cacciatori's is our local go-to pizza spot. Today they hosted our Mahopac girls soccer team and did a great job. Thanks guys!

No employee wears their mask correctly. When instructed to wear the mask, employees had no issue cursing with eachother or with me and my family. Horrible service. Now for the food.. We all ordered regular slices of white pizza and got sick the next day. I don't know what it was. It didn't taste too off or anything but my entire family suffered the following days because of this place. Save yourself a trip and stay away. read more

Wheres Patsy ??? Wheres Sal???? This place is not going to make it. I have been going there for years. Atleast 6 times a week. Patsy Sal and the crew always made you feel like.family. knew your name and even sometimes your order New owner is rude and nasty. The prices have gone up and the food has changed Not what it use to be Sad Bring back Patsy read more

Been ordering from them for years. Always excellent until tonight. Received my order WITHOUT our dessert and with the salad which we asked for with FRESH MOZZARELLA AND NO PEPPERS AND DRESSING. When we called we were told we SCAMMING THEM!!! Seriously??? They didn't deliver the food and we are scamming THEM??? read more

The salads and pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe was incredible!! A must try!! The staff is attentive and very polite. Love the family feel. read more

I am a regular here! They have great lunch menus! You should try their Chicken Francese and Scarlariello.

Went to Cacciatori's tonight for the 1st time, ON THE MONEY with their pizza!! Best spot I have gone to! Recommend it to all!

Cacciatore is our go to for pizza night. Pizza is delicious, tastes like NYC pizza. Delivery is fast and friendly. When we go in for a slice, the staff is friendly and jokes around with us and our kids. read more

The pizza is a soupy mess and the meatball parm legitimately tastes like my 7-year-old's chef boyardee. No idea what happened to this place - it used to be awesome in the 90s. Must be new ownership. Whatever the case, there is zero reason to come here with all of the other pizza places in town. read more

One of my favorite pizza place!! Their soups too Re amazing. They also do their own cannoli which is my favorite. Everything is good!!!

I sometimes have to take a step back with placed like this so my rating is fair. it's simplicity is what makes it so great. Run of the mill pizza place, garlic knots, sausage rolls blah blah blah you have seen them all. Their slice is so consistently good its the primary reason im giving is 4/5. I get pizza from here at lease 2x a month and its always just as good as the last time When i think of "pizza" this is what i think of. Go for the regular slice, sausage/meatball or get a sausage roll with extra sauce on the side. you wont be disappointed. read more

The food is really good. The staff is very friendly. They may be the friendliest staff I've ever encountered, which goes a long way. I wish you guys would put up a website or join GRUBHUB so we can order online. That would be awesome. read more

This place is underrated. I'm writing this review because I feel people aren't given them the attention they deserve. Many reviewers and friends I talk to claim to no longer like Cacciatori's after the new owners bought it. However, they are far better now than they ever were. The grandma and grandpa slices are the best around. When you bite into the grandma slice, there is an explosion of tomato flavor with garlic and olive oil smoothed over the crispy crust hitting the back of your palette. Following this intensity, your tongue is caressed by the flavor of the mozzarella cheese easing anxiety, whispering "It's okay, I'm here". I'm drooling simply thinking about their grandma pizza. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews. Although I guess it is possible that the ownership is responding properly to the criticism and making corrections, and I have reaped the benefit. The regular slices are very large, The Sicilian slices are second only to Da Vincis in Bensonhurst. The soups are terrific. The entrees are excellent. Every place can make improvements here and there, but for a local pizza place, I think they offer good value for the buck. EdG read more

First and last time buying food from this place. Employees were sitting on work-tables in the kitchen area. Not crazy about somebody's ass occupying the same area that food was sitting on. Inexcusable. Complacency galore. read more

Good food. Owner hates his customers. We were having a good conversation laughing like normal people and he kicked me and my friend out for no reason. I asked him nicely if we stopped fooling around we can get back inside he said "no you need to not eat in my restaurant" read more

Don't Waste Your Time Going Here! I have been a customer here for a very long time. I will NEVER go back! This place has changed owners pizza is OK but pricey. Quality of food is not the same. The owner is rude and very very unfriendly does not appreciate his customers along with the service which is terrible Give another place a try. There are plenty of other pizza places read more

This place is terrific! Especially for busy families who need healthy but great tasting food! They deliver quickly (NEVER LATE!!!) Everything is delicious - the pizza crusts are crispy; the chicken fingers and fries satisfy even my most picky eaters; and the pastas are delectable! The chicken sorrentino is almost as good as mine!!! The sandwiches are truly awesome - I even brought some to work the next day and they were great reheated! (The meatball was the best!). Their drivers are polite and well mannered. This place is a gem. read more

They serve the pizza slices cold & undercooked. The calzones are good. Not very friendly service. read more

The pizza is pretty good. The slices are a decent size and could use a bit more sauce since it is a little dry. The crust is crispy. This place has gone through many changes over the years. It was awesome 15 years ago. I am assuming there are newer owners. The food is relatively average. The soup is a bit salty and tastes like the broth is commercially made. Other than that, seems like the average pizzeria. Lots of seating which is a plus. The staff seem pleasant. read more

Fresh ingredients and very respectful staff! Can't get any better than this!

Just moved to the area and was looking for a pizza. The pie was great the sausage had real flavor and the sauce was perfect as well.

Amazing staff, they have recently gone under new managment (6 months ago) pizza is great. My favorite is Grandmas pizza. Everytime my family eats here the staff always so friendly. We order from here at least once a week and never have had a bad experience. I love the shrimp salad. They give you 6 grilled jumbo shrimp on top of a generous salad with their house dressing. There are times when I order to go and my kids fall asleep in the car and they will come out to the car and bring me the food. Such a great gem to have in town. read more

This place has gone downhill over the last couple of years. Used to be one of the best places around, now it's one of the worst. With so many other pizza places in Mahopac it's not really that big of a loss. read more
