The best pizza in the area. The food is consistently delicious. The service is excellent, and the establishment is always extremely clean. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Every dish is worth ordering highly recommend. read more

OMG! This place is amazing!! Every pie they make is DELICIOUS! I order about 4 pies a week and they never fail us! Highly recommended! 10

I'm a huge pizza snob, and the pizza was just okay. Nothing to write home about. Hell, didn't even want to leave this review. Haha. The people complaining about the people behind the counter, I do not agree with. They were pleasant and friendly. I'd go back to try their meals to see what else they have. read more

i called the pizzeria and ask for a large pie with anchovies. i specifically asked the guy on the other end of the phone please don't burn my pizza because of my past experience with this same pizzeria. when i go into the pizzeria and order my pizza there. my pizza's is never burnt. as soon as i call in a delivery the pizza is burnt. i have pictures as evidence. i don't know if it's racial discrimination or just pure ignorance on behalf of the owners and employees! read more

Bronx style pizza, consistently good. It is the gold standard for pizza around this area. Salads and wedges are generously portioned and ownership is very nice and efficient. Highly recommend. Been a customer for many years. read more

Great pizza place everyone is very nice food is delicious. A little bit hard to find so be patient it's worth!

Every time I order from these guys I regret it. They treat you like garbage and it seems like they just don't value your support. I'm done! Do yourself a favor go right down the street to Trios pizzeria - better food and much better service! read more

Tastes like home. Having moved away from New York, Peppinos is a must whenever I'm back in town. Crisp, thin crust. Hot, bubbly cheese. Friendly staff that remember their regular customers and make them feel welcome. Easy in and out location with tons of parking. read more

Peppino's Pizza - a cheese pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Baldwin Place, New York

This would be a 0 star rating if that was an option! Quite possibly the WORST customer service in the area. I called to place an order for pick up and the owner was rude off the bat. I had a full order I was trying to place. I started by asking for a cheese slice, and before I could continue my order and list everything else, he cut me off saying "you have to come in to order a slice" and hung up on me as I was saying "ok can I ------" . I'm relieved I started with ordering the slice before ordering the additional 3 meals I planned on getting because I will NEVER give them my business. read more

$3.50 for a medium sized plain slice before tax. It cost them less than three dollars to make an entire plain pie.... With those profit margins .....There's not a single reason why they don't have Apple Pay point of sale system. A brand new Apple Pay card reader from the Apple Store is less than 60 bucks. There's no excuse as to why they don't have one. " you can just tell me your credit card information and I can manually type it in." ????? How about no??? How about you get a secure method of payment a.k.a. tap to pay. The one I attached to this review is from Apple, there's ones from other reputable brands that are less than 50 bucks. No excuse. read more

Peppino's Pizza - The cost of a point of sales system - Pizza Near Me - Baldwin Place, New York

I've stopped in this place two times and I have to say, it's enough. The two guys behind the counter (possibly father and son) both appear to prefer to be at a funeral. Horrible attitudes, terrible customer acknowledgement. If their aim was to scare me away, they succeeded. read more

The food is ok even if it was great I'd never go back. The father and son are the most unfriendly people I've ever seen running a small business. The father reminds me of the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld let's call him the "Pizza Nazi. The son has a personality like a stone. I had gone there off and on for years they never change. I was very excited to try this pizza. I walked in, and there was nobody at the counter. I was not greeted with a hello or hi or anything friendly. It was a guy/son with a nasty attitude. It looked like the father was working with him. I ordered an eggplant Parmesan roll, and a grandma slice to go. When the stuff was hot and ready in the box, the son yelled out,"ready". I turned around, and wasn't sure he was talking to me or the delivery boy next to me. I asked , mine?" He said yeah. Before walking out I asked, "does sauce come with a pizza roll?" He muttered," it's in there. "In an annoyed manner. There was no thank, you have a nice day. Nothing nice at all. Just really bad attitude. No smile no nothing. .Pizza is typical, nothing to write home about. My husband went in and ordered stuff separately. He was treated the same way. He asked if they had meat and cheese calzones. The son's response was I can put meatballs on a calzone for you. That's not a meat and cheese calzone! Anyone in the business knows this. That's a meatball calzone. Maybe the proper answer should've been no, we don't have those but what I can do is this. Or I can make you one if you come back in half an hour. In a time where restaurants are closing, and struggling, you need to be a little bit nicer to your clients. People remember how they're treated at restaurants. Word spreads quickly. We won't be back mainly because of the bad attitudes in this place. Food is not memorable, the bad attitudes are. read more

We ordered a meat lover's pizza from Peppino's pizza and it was delicious! The bottom was not charred like a lot of pizza places, it was perfect! Delivered in record time! From ordering online and Grubhub delivery was less than a half hour! Wonderful! I will be ordering from Peppino's again, no doubt! read more

We used to place a take out order at least once a week here. On several occasions our orders were messed up. We didn't even say anything the first two times because the food was pretty good and the pizzeria was slammed with customers. The third time we decided to call and tell them about it because our pizza was plain when we had paid extra for several toppings and the dipping sauce was absent for the zucchini sticks. We spoke to the girl whom we placed the order with and she apologized and asked us to hold on for a moment. She returned to the call and informed us that the next time we ordered a pizza it would be no charge and just to tell whomever we spoke to if not her this. She apologized again and we heard a man's voice in the background basically saying what she had just told us. We thanked her and hung up. The next week when we called to place our order another young lady answered the phone and we placed our order and reiterated what we had been told that there would be no charge. The girl said OK. Five minutes later she called back to say that we would need to pay. We were dumbfounded and felt slighted. We asked why, when we were told it would be free. A man grabbed the phone out of her hand and abrasively told us we would be charged, while an older man's voice in the background was angrily disagreeing with us. I then told the man on the phone to just cancel the order entirely and he informed me that what I ordered was already made and that I'd have to pay for it. On a good night it would take 20-25 minutes minimum for a pie with toppings to be made. I informed him once again to cancel the order and that he just lost a long time customer. We've never returned since. This is no way to treat people who support your business. LYING, MISTREATMENT, and then trying to SHAKE DOWN customers is DISGUSTING! Oh and the younger SUPER HYPER man who works the counter rubs his nose quite a bit. Might want to keep him away from the flour. read more

We LOVE Peppinos and have been going and order from them for years! They are our go to when we need to order platters for parties.

I ordered a large order for a party at 7pm. The food was never delivered. I began calling around 8:15-8:30 and they would not answer the phone. I've done delivery before and the pizza is decent but it always takes longer than other places. This is the last time I'll order from them. read more

First time there and the flavor blew me away I got the grandma slice and omg one of the best also got the regular cheese slice and the crust was perfectly charred with great flavor then came back before closing time the same day and got the spinach and artichoke wow blew me away. Peppinos is the best pizza in the area and a convenient location off Rte 6. I call in my order and am literally in and out of the restaurant in a minute! Very fresh, great toppings, crust is cooked perfectly, generous amount of cheese and their sauce is great! (two other pizzerias in the area burn their crust till it's inedible and another pizzeria in the area adds an entire box of salt to their pizza). Peppinos pizza night is my favorite night of the week! Be sure to try their chicken bacon ranch pizza. I never liked it before I ordered it from Peppinos. Their salad pizza is excellent, too. read more

I love Peppinos. It is easily my favorite pizza place around. Their pepperoni is the best. I don't know where they get it from or why it's so much better than anywhere else but it is. Their Penne Ala Vodka is also the best around. I've had penne from every local place, even the upscale italian restaurants, but they have the best. I get here once a week and have yet to be disappointed. read more

Hands down the best tasting pizza in this area. Their sauce is amazing ! I could eat it like soup. I love their dinners as well. All around excellent food. Some People complain about the owners not being too friendly but Idon t have a problem with them. I've been eating there for over 10 years. They're nice to me I'm not going there looking for a new best friend I just like the food. And most of the time they're so busy they probably can't figure out who's in front of them because they have so much going on. Excellent delivery too ! read more

The owners son is over worked and underpaid. I've never had a bad experience with this son people are referring to. I've only seen a hard working Italian tryina make a living. Great pizza , the chicken scarpariello is delicious , but I just can't stand the rude and disrespectful son . So I moved on !

Food and prices are good, unfortunately the owners are extremely rude and nasty. Tried to place an order for delivery and the person taking the order was consistently rude and abrupt. Let it go the first couple of times but finally couldn't take it and just cancelled the order. Will be finding a new place since we ordered from here at couple of times a week read more

Consistent good food. Always dependable but the counter staff is not the friendliest. The closest to Bronx style pizza in the area.

I moved to this area 12 years ago from Queens and tried a lot of local pizzerias closer to my home than this one, they were horrible. This place makes real pizza, genuinely good pizza. Not just "good for this area", good-period. I see a lot of the bad pizza I've eaten here getting better reviews-people up here don't know what good pizza is supposed to taste like. As far as all the comments about rudeness, I've never seen it. The owner and his son seem like hard working guys to me. They always say hello, I've never seen them treat anyone badly. read more

If you're looking for "service with a smile", this is not the place for you. If you're looking for great pizza (the best in Mahopac in my opinion) then Peppino's is your go-to restaurant. I've ordered pizza by the slice as well as by the pie, and I've never been disappointed. Sure, not the friendliest bunch, but I'm not going there for greetings and conversation, I'm there for food! So as long as the pizza remains delicious, they'll keep my business! read more
