I would like to bring to the attention of the manager, delivery driver, and owner the horrible service we experienced from your establishment. Last week, during Nephrology Week, our team decided to order food from your restaurant to celebrate. The order was placed on Tuesday and scheduled for delivery on Wednesday at 11:45 AM since our lunch break is usually at noon. We ordered four large trays of food that were supposed to last us throughout our shift. Because we were expecting a proper meal, none of us packed lunches that day. By 1:00 PM, our food still had not arrived. When we called the restaurant, we were told that the order had already been delivered. However, no one from our unit received the food, nor did we receive any confirmation call from the driver. Apparently, the driver delivered the order to the wrong unit without verifying the correct recipient or delivery location. What makes this even more frustrating is that this was not the first time we ordered from your restaurant, so our location should already have been familiar. After realizing the mistake, we called back and were forced to place another order and pay again, even though the error was entirely on your side. We were only told that we would receive a discount on a future order, but honestly, we believe the replacement order should have been complimentary given the inconvenience and the fact that this issue has happened before. Our replacement order finally arrived around 3:00 PM, and unfortunately, the food was not even worth the wait. The pizza was burnt, and the chicken was dry. We spent around $200, went hungry for most of the day, and this was the quality of food and service we received. This entire experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. We paid twice using our hard-earned money for food that was neither delivered properly nor enjoyable to eat. I sincerely hope management takes this matter seriously, addresses the delivery issues, improves food quality, and provides proper resolution for the inconvenience your restaurant caused our team. read more

Right now, this is probably the best pizzeria in the neighborhood. The pizza is authentic Italian, the staff is very friendly , and it's conveniently located. Although I'm a simple extra cheese/pepperoni type of guy, this place offers a very wide variety of pizza. Some seem quite unique like the "drunken grandma" which has a vodka sauce, mozzarella, ramano, and basil. Definitely worth a try when in the area. read more

I had the chicken Scarpiello which was really good. The rest of the family ordered two different pies, I have to be honest, I was skeptical. My daughter insisted that it's their go to place now. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried some of my wife's slices. The drunken Grandma pie is awesome, just so much going on. I also sampled the Hot Stuff pizza, again, really good pie. Being from lower Westchester and basically growing up in the Bronx you get a little jaded to anything but stellar NY style pizza. This is legit. read more

Great pizza, clean restaurant! The guys behind the counter are friendly. I would describe this as Staten Island-style pizza. Ultra-thin crust, but still pretty pliable. Definitely worth going here if you're in the area. Only downfall is the parking lot. The drive-thru Starbucks kind of kills it. That whole shopping center has just a really bad parking lot design. I know for sure I had to bite the bullet to go get pizza there, which I'm sure a lot of people just don't bother with because of that stupid Starbucks drive thru line. read more

I love to eat pizza and I never complain. I have been a customer of Slice pizza in Yorktown since they opened, and I have seen the quality deteriorate. The last few times I have not enjoyed the pizza. Yesterday I ordered 4 slices and they were very small and I had one slice with sausage added and it looked like it was plopped on the pizza. When I ate it had no taste. The other slices were horrible my wife and granddaughter could not finish. Something is happening with Slice and they should have better quality control. I will no longer be going. Buyer beware. read more

All pies are fresh (came in at opening). Mushroom slice was delicious. Server suggested fresh arugula. It's was with garlic and was superb.

The counter people are all very nice and helpful. Slice is located in the new complex with Trader Joe's, Lowes, and Starbucks. There is a decent amount of parking but the Starbucks drive-thru can clutter things up. I decided to keep it simple and try a sausage pie with mozzarella sticks. The pizza was good but I was by no means impressed. The sausage was the cheap crumbled kind and not the sliced form. The sauce was flavorful but the crust was thicker than I typically like. The mozzarella sticks were phenomenal. You can tell they are homemade and are stuffed with cheese. Probably the best I've ever had. To be fair, I only had the basic iteration of their pizza. I would try one of their specialties to see if they are good, which I hear some are. If you go to Slice you must have their mozzarella sticks! read more

Being new to the area I am on the search for the good eats in town. This place is solid. Friendly service and a modern ambiance. Yeah it's a little pricier than some other places, but to me it's worth it because their food is how I remember good pizzerias used to be. I actually forgot what a true Sicilian slice used to be like until I got one from here. Nowadays it seems like many pizzerias skimp on the quality and size of their offerings and guess what? Their prices have gone up too! I hope this place remains a staple in the area and that they stay true to what I have experienced so far - excellent quality and portion size without the price gouging. I'm a local resident, live about 4 minutes away. This place opened up about two or three months ago, we finally got around to ordering today. I ordered pizza from more than a few places around the area and haven't been satisfied. Slice has good pizza, we really enjoyed it. Closest to NY pizza that I've tasted in the area. It reminds me a little of New Park pizza (well known pizza place) down in Queens. Only thing missing is the salted undercarriage. Solid pizza pie nonetheless. The pepperoni and anchovies were good quality as well. Good crust too, which is the trademark of great pizza. We also ordered wings and calamari. Wings were also good. Such a simple thing, wings are but so many places get them wrong. Don't know why or how. This place gets it right. Finally we have a place for pizza and wings. The calamari was good as well but it was missing the cherry peppers and the aioli. So that was a let down. Another let down, the food arrived cold. We live so close but apparently not close enough to get warm food. We heated it up but for the missing aioli and cold pizza I took a star. Local pizza that is delicious, just what the area sorely needed. I'll order again and update this review and let you know how it goes. Local business is important to support and we plan on trying this pizza again. Great pizza. Delivery and attention to detail needs a little work. I'm originally from the Bronx and have been looking for a great pizzeria since I moved to Mahopac over 8 years ago. Once Slice opened, I've been hooked ever since. Now I order ahead when I leave work almost every Friday night and pick up on my way home. This past Friday I ordered as usual. When I got home I realized they made a mistake with my pie. I called and they immediately offered to remake it AND deliver it. The pie arrived hot soon after. Now THAT is customer service. I will continue to go to Slice because you can't beat that customer service and because their pizza is by far the best around! (I recommend the drunken grandma pizza and they also make great wings!) I came here with my wife around 15 minutes before they closed and the staff were super nice. We felt bad going in that close to closing time but my wife was very hungry for pizza and we just got done grocery shopping. I haven't eaten anything here but there plain pizza. I eat here at least twice a week and order a two pies almost every weekend. Slice has the best pizza in Yorktown hands imo. It reminds me of good pizza from the Bronx or Queens. The sauce has great flavor. They use good cheese. And their dough is the perfect texture. NO FLOP. So tonight I decided to call and try Slice for the first time. Holy moly was it my first and LAST time. My first attempt, I was put on hold for 5 mins and then hung up on. Thanks. I tried once more and reached someone. I gave my phone & address for delivery to a girl and was told to hold and then hung up on. No one called me back even though I just had given my number. In a town with a thousand pizza places, I will try one that has a lot more customer service. Too bad too, we were testing them out for a kids party coming up soon. Can't keep my husband out of this place!! He gets the meat lover's at least once a week. His new favorite spot. Salads are very good. Super fresh and loaded. Slices are amazing.
