Oh Fratello. Ciao ciao. Trio Pizza and its tantalizing temptations. Social Media does do wonders - festering a fascination... a hankering for some slices I'd only seen not smelt or felt. Had me bury myself in winter attire and trek half an hour or so to see what was what. Oh, don't you worry lads and ladettes. LB found out what is what. Lace up your sneaks and get ready to run with me. I pulled up in the whip, in need of a wash, some wiper fluid, an oil change and an up to date registration. If you ask a mechanic they'd probably say I needed a little more than that - But, they'd probably be lying. Upchargers. Liars. Criminals. Just like the weathermen. Anyways... I park my Fordrari in a decently full parking lot right around restaurant opening. Good sign. If you asked me, but what do I know? Small lot, but relatively decent sized shop - At this particular time they still were attached to Bono Bono (which ofc I finished the meal off with but that's a story for another time... if you're lucky.) I stepped in, a two step with a half nae nae, to the interior in my high top Uggs screamin' Shady til' I die. But my screams stopped upon the sights and sounds of this sliceria. Wowza, McPowza. Geezle Beezle. Good heavens to Betsy. Do these slices look good or what. Straight up on surface play this is banging with the baddest boys in the pizza game. But am I a surface level guy? Maybe... maybe I am. But that's for me and the mirror to work out. Is love blind? I don't know. But without lust - Love is rarely found and even more seldom can love be held for a long period of time without said lust. Anyways... I lusted for this pizza upon first sight. And so will you, for you are as weak as I... maybe even weaker (probably) ((more than likely)) (((you are weaker))). Finally. Brass tax season. Let's get down to it. One of THE BEST GRANDMA I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. Honestly who am I kidding? The best grandma I've had. You could tell the dough quality upon sniff, and first taste backed it up. Superb. Just terrific. A must get. The chicken scarp was a real nice specialty pie. Legit taste, leaving you wanting even more. The vodka Sicilian was solid. The other slices were for my co-attendant who delivered distinguishing praise - And I ought believed him. Will be getting those next time as well. As we were munching down, an Angel sent from the heavens approached us. One of the owners came walking straight out from the oven with a "Thinny Thin" pie of which he was testing out new things with. "You want a slice?" He asked, in more of a proclamation than a question. I may have dropped a tear, and of course accepted a fourth slice because I'm that type of guy. The abs can continue to hibernate as they have been for my entire life. On receipt of said slice, a smile curled on my face as if I was preparing to jestermax but in reality I was just honored that I got framemogged by the jacked up owner. I ate the slice happily - and boy oh boy - that thinny thin is a thing of beauty. A scientific invention, researched and developed into near perfection. Thin, crispy, good sauce, topped off with some shred... well done lads. I could go on all day, and you'd probably love it. Bow down to LB. Top 2 pizzeria in all of Westchester. Johnny's is obviously the other. Trio Pizza is a 5 Star standout without question. That's what's what. Don't dare to question me when I provide an answer. I made a trip up to Mahopac to try this pizza. It was worth the drive! We got an array of different slices, one better than the next. We tried a mushroom truffle slice, chicken, scarp slice, a Sicilian, a vodka, Sicilian, and a few others. What I like about this pizza place is the fact you can go in and there are a good 10 to 20 pizzas in the case to adore! I hate going into a pizza place where you can't see the pizza and they pull it out from underneath the counter. I sat outside and it was really nice patio area, especially for my dog. My first experience was not one that made me want to return. Pizza was dry and burned. Sandwiches were lacking sauce as well. What made me return is remembering how friendly the owners were. This time I only ordered a plain slice ( my go to) it was pregame what I call a finisher. You eat the crust because the dough is that good. Great sauce and cheese. Ordered for pick-up on a Friday night and it was very busy, but staff was attentive. The pizzas themselves were a bit on the pricier side but the menu items were unique. The thinny thin was thin but not crunchy on the bottom (mind you, I live 5 minutes from Trio so it was not sitting in the box long) so it was otherwise a standard cheese pizza with basil for $20. The trio-roni tasted good and had a nice sicilian bread, but the pepperoni distribution was crazy (see picture) and it was a little soggy. Flavors were good though. The individual slices people were ordering while inside the restaurant looked much better than what we received in our take out order, would maybe try eating in next time. read more

Really good pizza, but quite literally the most uncomfortable seating in existence. It's almost like they intentionally made it unpleasant to sit on to get you to leave sooner. If you have back issues, forget it. Sometimes I really crave their pizza but if I'm not in the mood to eat in the car, I'll go elsewhere. With better seating I'd be here at least weekly. read more

Have to give a nice shout out to trio. Today my husband picked up a sandwich for me and on his way home, I received a call from one of the workers. They are telling me that you might've gave me the wrong sandwich. Turns out they did when I called them back to confirm. Without hesitation they immediately sent someone over to deliver the correct sandwhich, let us keep the sandwhich they gave us by accident AND refunded us. I wasn't even expecting any of that it was truly great business and for that we will be lifetime customers. I saw a great review of this place on Tiktok and had to check it out. Located right on Rt. 6 at Baldwin Place..its easy to drive past..but that woukd be a mistake. You walk in, immediately confronted with Beautiful Specialty slices, Garlic knots, and many other delicious looking bites. Place is clean, spacious, with very beautiful colorful artwork on the walls. The young lady who took our order was polite, Professional, and very nice. We ordered the highly recommend "Thinny Thin" ( a thin well done New Haven style ) We sat in they're lovely patio and the pizza was delivered to us. It was absolutely Delicious!! Was bigger then we expected and had to bring 2 slices home..( which will make a fantastic midnight snack ) The other side of the Pizzaria is and Ice cream shop that looked yummy....we will try it next time. Anyway they are doing things right over here and we will definitely add them to the rotation. I had to try this place after seeing them on Instagram. I recently ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza and the Thinny Thin Pizza. They were really good and I definitely needed a new pizza spot to go to. I would absolutely recommend them and my next trip I definitely have to try the Polenta Fries. :) read more

We recently visited Trios and brought home two slices of their Grandma pizza, and I have to say--it was stunning. Just look at the bold diagonals of vibrant green pesto, rich red tomato chunks, and bubbly mozzarella with just the right amount of browning. It's a visual masterpiece and the taste is every bit as good as it looks. Saw a video recently with some food reviewers I follow giving this place a very high score. Allegedly, the owner said he thinks their pizza is better than Johnny's of Mt. Vernon, which is pretty much the best in Westchester. They also have a picture of Dave Portnoy inside next to their "thinny thin" ad so I have to imagine they're very familiar with OneBite. All that said, they've set the bar incredibly high and if that's where they put it, that's the quality I will expect. I got the thinny thin, fire honey pizza, and trio fries. Trio fries - Looked like something my cat threw up and I couldn't really see or taste where the cheddar is that's supposed to be in there, which is slightly frustrating. Tasted great though. Probably even better with the cheddar. Fire Honey - For $30 it better be amazing. It was amazing. 'Nuff said. Thinny thin - I know I've seen Portnoy review a place in NJ with the same name for a pizza and with that name and his face next to the sign, that's the standard I expect. Again, the owner said he thinks theirs is better than Johnny's so I'll compare it against that. I haven't had Johnny's in quite awhile, and I did modify my pie at Johnny's slightly (no changes allowed to thinny thin at trio) so it's not exactly a 1:1 comparison, but close enough. Did I think it was better/as good as Johnny's? No. Did I think it was a truly outlandish comparison and that Johnny's was far and away better? Also no. It was very good for what it was. 4/5. Trio is outstanding. We've been there several times and picked up takeout a few times, and today we ordered delivery as we were busy getting ready for Christmas. There was a bit of a snafu with DoorDash, and when we called Trio to straighten things out the response was quick and efficient: we will get your order there in a few minutes. Less than ten minutes later the owner himself was at our door, with our order, fresh and hot, and with a bottle of wine! I am impressed. I was in the hospitality business for many years, and these days that kind of customer service effort is unheard of. I highly recommend Trio, and if you haven't tried them, take a chance, because this is no run of the mill pizzeria. The food is excellent and so is the service, in the restaurant and outside too. This place is legit!! It's so convenient that it's teamed up with the best ice cream in the area too - Bona Bona (see my review of this gem). Anyway, I've now sampled a bunch of things from this place and can safely say it's one of the top Italian restaurants based solely on flat out deliciousness. The Sunday Sicilian pizza is just loaded with meatballs, sausage and melt in your mouth braised pork. It's flavor overload! The sauce is perfect too! The spicy Tito is amazing if you love a great vodka sauce. Just wonderful pizza! My wife and I decided to opt out of more amazing pizza and hit the regular menu items. We shared the arancini balls - they are crispy pieces of heaven and that vodka dipping sauce = money! Next up we tried the meatballs, now take into consideration that my wife makes amazing meatballs, well, these were nearly as good. They are meaty, juicy, extremely flavorful and the sauce is just amazing. We were extremely impressed. These were soooo much better than any meatballs we've had in a restaurant by a wide margin. Next we split a Drunken Chicken wedge. Wow! They hollow out the wedge and stuff it with small pieces of perfectly cooked chicken in that holy water-esque spicy vodka sauce and melt loads of mozzarella onto it. It's just amazing Italian comfort food and a delicious meal! We plan on continuing to explore the menu and hope everything is as good as what we've tried thus far. The dining area looks like it's small, noisy and busy as the counter and kitchen are all right there, but they also have outdoor dining for warmer days. They really are more than just pizza. I love this place !! You can tell they take pride in their ingredients and the way the food is cooked. My fave dish is the baked vodka it's so flavorful and they are def not light handed. Their customer service is always 5 stars even when they are super busy.
