Yeah, this is GOOD STUFF! Literally! A lot of healthy alternatives, very fresh, a bit of a different kind of breakfast/lunch cafe! Interesting offerings! There's always a line and you usually have to wait whether you're taking out or dining there. Dining here is tight and even outdoors there's not a lot of tables. People make base camp here with laptops and books and take up space like its a Starbucks, which it is not, NO ROOM! I find the prices a bit high and yes the food is mostly wholesome organic, but it is a little pricey. Great coffee! Recently purchased a bag of their bean for home in addition to some baked goods. Gotta have a cinnamon donut every blue moon! The girls at the counter are great... always smiling and friendly! Where they find these kids is beyond me because they're always GREAT! For 2pm on a Saturday it was very busy however we were able to snag a table fairly quickly. We almost got a table outside but it looked like there could be rain so we changed our minds. With all the good things I heard about them and about the Nacho Libre wrap. I went there, it was crowded with mist people getting drinks and bowls. I had the Nacho Libre to go. I couldn't wait to get home to try it and was extremely disappointed. First I opened the box and they put the wrap with the seam down and loosely wrapped, so even with sticking my fingers under it, some of it fell out and I had to resemble it. I took a bite and the grilled chicken was extremely dry, flavorless and tough. Not sure if they forgot the dressing, but the avocado was the only thing that gave it some moisture. Ate half and threw the other half out. Maybe it was not made correctly and the chicken is not usually over cooked. Not sure. But I with give them another chance in the future with something else. I've been a die hard lover of Bobo's since 2016, but the Mahopac location is probably the only location I will pass on. The place is always busy, which is by no means a problem I am very happy business is well but when it starts affecting the quality and consistency of items then it's a problem. I often find my sandwich's thrown together in a box, no honey on chips, or other ingredients just omitted when I never specified for it. One example is when I ordered a number one which came with no avocado on it. Like I said Ive been a lover and supporter of bobo's since the Somers location was the only one but this Mahopac location needs to get itself checked and head on right and start putting out consistent items with the same quality as the other locations. read more

Great little place with a nice selection, especially if you want something different. The Number 1 - eggs, avocado, bacon, chipotle dressing on a croissant (no hash brown please) is fantastic. The Kawa-Ni is a savory pork sandwich with great spices on a baguette. But it's the Grilled Cheese sandwiches that are the real delight. I'm hooked on the BBQ, which is pulled BBQ chicken with cheddar on delicious toasted sourdough bread. "Decadent" doesn't even start to describe it. All sandwiches come with Kettle Potato Chips, which is a nice touch. Great Iced Teas too. The staff is very friendly and the app makes it super easy to order. I'm usually in and out. I've been to every Bobos location and they never disappoint. It is so nice to have such a vast menu with healthy, gluten free options that also include guilt free bacon . I'm a big fan. The service is always great but you have to know to order ahead if you are in any sort of rush. As you sit and wait, take a look at the tiles on the ceiling in the Baldwin Place location. I frequent to Bobos often. At least 2-3x a month. I recently had a baby and was visiting my parents and decided to place an order to pick up on my way there. I usually place the order on the app but I was already driving. I had my mom call it in. Unfortunately she made a mistake on the location that she placed the order. I realized this when I went inside to pick it up. I completely understand this is our mistake but the lack of understanding and the disregard for the situation really struck me on their part. They told me I had two options. I could go pick the order up at the other location or they could remake the order and charge me for the original order and the remade order with 50 percent off of the remade order. I knew that going to the other establishment wasn't an option because I had my newborn daughter with me. I mentioned this to the girl but she refused to be understanding. As a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed with this establishments understanding towards new moms. read more

Smoothies are good, though we prefer to do without the protein powder and put in mango instead. They're also on the expensive side. Today made the mistake of getting ice coffee. This is my own fault, as we had latte from the Bobo in Somers and it was undrinkable, the coffee was so bad. Wife brought me to this spot because she follows on insta. The pics made it worth checking out, different takes on standard deli/bakery food. Got the number one (BEC on croissant) and was good needs more attention, seems they would rather get the food out quickly instead of trying to make a good sandwich great. Major downside was staff was not following covid protocol. I can overlook someone answering the phone and pulling their mask down quickly but not a good look when you are in kitchen over food and mask down (when it didn't even seem like you needed to be there *manger).
