Stumbled here after a long day of work on a Tuesday. There's no better way to end your work day than some good, juicy, and greasy tacos!! The place is only walking distance away from donut man. I decided to give it a shot at some tacos and this is how it goes. The cashier was super friendly! Got my order in for 2 Carne asada tacos and 1 shrimp taco. And for Tuesdays, carne asada or any of the meat tacos it's only $1.50 each instead of the usual $1.79. Shrimp tacos are regular price at $2.69. My order came out in 5 mins tops. It was quick! She also asks you what kind of sauce you like to add to your taco. As I took a bite into the carne asada taco, flavors of juicy meat exploded in my mouth. It was a good size, not one of those 2 bite tacos, but rather -a 3 bite taco! This is a solid taco spot, especially for taco tuesday. FYI they have $1.50 specials for fish taco Wednesdays. The fish tacos are pretty good and the agua chile was alright. Had a lot of different bottled hot sauces at each table. The fish taco was nice and light, agua chile was okay. Use to be good a long time ago, stopped going cuz the food quality became much worse and quantity became much less. Fish tacos are mostly breading, beans and rice taste off, so I tried a bean and cheese burrito and the tortilla was completely burnt. Gave them another chance and regretted it. read more

Our go-to tacos spot for years. Carne asada tacos, chicken tacos, shrimp tacos and fish tacos are all delicious!! The chicken taco is shredded chicken which is different from what I am used to. They have Taco Tuesday Special for the meat tacos - price has slightly increase to $1.75 each. I think there is a Wednesday special for Fish tacos also. There is a 3% transaction fee added for credit card purchases. Highly recommend trying Cabos if you are in the area. Employees are very very nice!! read more

I went here around 12pm for a Shrimp Cocktail after my shift, worst mistake of my life. For a half a cup of shrimp cocktail to cost more than $12 is abysmal. It is not worth the price, nothing there is. The shrimp cocktail taste like water, no exaggeration. It had next to no flavor and the quantity of the food was so little compared to what it actually costs. I do not recommend anyone to come here unless you want food with no flavor and over priced. read more

I often drive by this spot when visiting family or getting Donut Man. I've heard good things, but tonight was finally the night I got to try Cabo Tacos! Let me begin by saying that all the good things were true. Cabo Tacos focuses mainly/mostly on delicious ocean animals as opposed to tasty land ones. They *do* offer carne asada, but I didn't eat any. Looked good though. Anyway, I ordered a Cabo Burrito! It had fried fish, shrimp, rice, and all the other stuff the tacos come with (cabbage, salsa, etc). No beans though. It was SOOO good! The burrito was very refreshing and hefty. The crispy fish added a nice texture and satisfying crunch in every bite. I also managed to sneak in a lil taco and it was just as delicious as the burrito, but I'm a burrito type of dude, so my recommendation goes out to the 'rito, but both were excellent. All the tacos were good but keep in mind that the seafood taco uses street taco tortillas which is very unfortunate since all the other establishments uses the regular taco tortillas for their seafood tacos. Kind of expensive for the tiny tacos. The salsa is watered down but still very tasty. Love the taste of the shrimp taco. Unfortunately, you only get 2 pieces of those delicious nuggets. Fish taco was good too. Really good crema. But it's also the tiniest fish taco I've ever had. The Al pastor taco tasted like a mixture of al pastor and carne asada. Like it had the pineapple taste but also tasted like carne asada but with pork. Wasn't what I used to, but it was still good. Came to this place for the first time after passing by it many times. I really enjoyed my food here. I ordered a shrimp ceviche tostada and a couple of fried shrimp tacos. The ceviche was good and flavorful but my favorite were the shrimp tacos. They were bomb. I even ordered an additional shrimp taco, but to be honest, I could have eaten three more haha. I was initially craving fish tacos and found this place ! Parking is a little small but there was plenty of street parking. The place was small but they had quite a few tables inside and a couple outside. We went during lunchtime so many of the tables were taken and we were lucky to get one. We ordered our food first at the counter. Even though there were many people the cashier was friendly and our food quickly came out piping hot and fresh. I ended up getting the fish burrito. It was huge ! It was filled with plenty of light crispy well seasoned fish, rice beans and cheese. The salsa was delicious I just wish I had more of it... my friend got the 1 shrimp taco and 1 fish taco with the rice and beans and she loved it too! The ratio of fish and shrimp was just the right amount. Our other friend ordered the shrimp quesadilla and it was very filling and satisfying! This definitely won't be the last time I will be here ! Cabo Tacos gets 5 stars for the freshness and quality of ingredients. It's a small place, enough seating for about 20-30 people. The staff are super friendly. Everything is made to order so it takes a little bit of time to receive the meal. The complimentary grilled and seasoned chiles are excellent, I'd never had them before. A great addition to any meal. The tacos were excellent. I had a grilled fish, al pastor, and a bite of someone's carne asada. My favorite was the grilled fish. Quality ingredients, packed with flavor, generous with the protein filling. The rice and beans were delicious too. My ONLY qualm is that they have no house made salsa. On the tables are bottles of generic hot sauce. The food is flavorful enough to not NEED salsa, but I'm a sucker for a little house-made kick. I actually came back from a trip from Cabo San Lucas and loved it so much that it drew me to this taco place because of its name. The crazy thing is that I actually live less than a mile from here and I really had no desire to even check this place out. Upon driving here this afternoon I ended up going to the back of the building which only had 5 parking space. So the rule of thumb here is to get here during off-peak times or find parking on route 66. As you enter the back of the restaurant you will notice a sign that list the taco specials of the day. I went on Friday which had $1.50 meat tacos: carna asada, pastor and chicken. This is a place where you go up to the counter to order as well as a condiment bar to get your own salsa, hot peppers, beats, and lemon. I ordered the mixed ceviche tosada, fish taco, carna asada taco, pastor taco, chicken taco and a jamica drink. You can see the picture for reference . What I can say is that man the food was really good! You can tell the meat quality was top notch and everything about the tacos were excellent. I am definately going to come here more often. We have lived in Glendora and drive by this place all the time. We STOPPED to check this place out. I picked up Fish Tacos on Friday during Lent. We normally drive out to Duarte to our family favorite Fish Taco place however Cabo Tacos will be our new favorite Fish Taco place. Fish Tacos were great. From looking at the menu; I will need to come back more often to try other items. To be totally fair, my baseline of sea food are placed from East Los Angeles, few places near downtown LA Fish market & Baja Cali. I really hope this place lives up to my expectations. SUPER excellent customer service. Our cashier was Pepino. He was so nice and gave us suggestions since it was our first time. We tried their "famous" roasted chile guero which was tasty. The agua chile was SO spicy, but the type of spicy that comes after you stop eating. The only thing I didn't care for is that the ceviche is made with bottled lime juice. Their horchata and agua de jamaica are made in house, while their agua de piña is made of powder. They're all good. That food was wonderful I had a burrito that was huge. The the lady that took my order was great. I was at the laundromat so all I had was quarters with me but she was more than willing to accept him and was patient waiting for me to count them out to pay for my burrito. This little place has been here for quite a while and I passed it by all the time and I wondered how good the food was never did get a chance to try until this evening and it was great! Thank you Cabo tacos because you're close by, but your food tastes like homemade. I don't think I've ever had a better burrito it has everything in it. Boy was it well worth the money I paid for it two meals with one burrito that's how much food it was. I can't say enough good about Cabo tacos tonight except thank you and God bless you. Friday, December 3, 2021 6 PM Like many other reviewer's here, I've passed by this place for years and never stopped in. No good reason just never got around to it. I've since been here a couple of times including this evening. I don't know what their other food tastes like but I can tell you their chicken tacos and carne Asada tacos are wonderful. They put cabbage and tomatoes in the tacos and those are two of my favorite things. Usually I can't get tomatoes with tacos because onions are already mixed in and I hate onions but that is not the case here. I can get tomatoes by themselves along with cabbage. This makes these tacos incredibly tasty for me. They also have a very good red sauce to go with the tacos. I'm telling you these guys know how to make an excellent Street taco better than most other places that are very similar to this place. I will continue to come here and I do recommend it read more

My wife just brought me this home. Thursday 8/29/24. I got a fish taco and a carne asada burrito with rice, beans, onions, cilantro and cheese. This was the WORST tasting carne asada I have had. I'm not sure it was even carne asada because it was completely flavorless, almost like it was boiled. Had a weird taste. Even unsalted asada doesn't taste boiled. Since I gave up meat for lent, I've been trying to find all sorts of new fish spots. At first I was reluctant to come here, cause I came here once with my mom - and we didn't think it was anything special - but tonight that wasn't the case. I took myself out to a local dinner - but did a pick up. It was way to hot inside to eat there- But the cashier and cook were so nice - they both came out to help me - and happily talk over the menu and gave me their recommendations- I didn't get their names - but ordered everything they suggested. Do yourself a favor and visit this super delicious taco restaurant in Glendora, CA. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely delicious. Everything we tasted on the menu melted in our mouth. Absolutely the best meal we had while. They have a small dining area inside and benches to chill at outside and enjoy your delicious meal!
