They were acknowledged, but after waiting at least five minutes without getting a chance to actually place their order, they eventually left. While I was waiting, I went over to the self-serve salsa bar, which was pretty much dry. There wasn't any obvious sign of a fresh restock happening either. If you're going to have a self-serve salsa bar, it should be stocked. The fish tacos were the highlight for me. The fish was a nice thick cut, with fresh cabbage and a spicy sauce that worked really well. The nachos had potential, but the asada was overcooked and a little dry. Overall, Petiscos is still good, but the price is higher than I think it should be, and the wait time doesn't help. I've been coming here long enough that I know what I'm getting, and it's close enough to home that I'll come back when it's convenient. This isn't somewhere I'd take someone to impress or go when I'm looking for a really good meal. I'm not sure I'd even recommend it to an out-of-towner.
