Lucinda is amazing!! I went to her back in April and she totally transformed my various colored processed hair into exactly what I wanted. I have been going to different stylists and each time my hair just looked worst but lucinda was able to correct there horrible bleach jobs. I recently went a week ago and she added color and bleach and finished with a cut. My hair is even more amazing looking and my hair doesn't feel dry at all. My hair looks and feels so healthy. If you like unnatural hair color, this place is probably a good place to go. However, if you want to look professional I would recommend that you exercise caution with which stylist you choose. There were some very professional ladies in the salon that looked great when they left, but I did not get that type of treatment. My hair went from being an intentional natural looking highlighted blonde to a very unnatural blonde. We had agreed that the goal was to keep me natural looking and she did what we agreed to for the first several weaves and cuts, but at some point she lost her focus - actually, she lost her focus often when she was doing my hair and that should have been a warning to me. The stylist said she did not do anything different...really? I've had my hair weaved for a while and that is never the case. She just started making changes to my hair (color and cut) that I did not want or know about until afterwards. I talked to her about it, and it was clear she did not appreciate that, but with the prices she charged I should be looking fantastic when I left, not bleached beyond repair. At my last - and it will be my last - appointment she demanded that I do things her way...that's a problem and a huge concern to anyone who might have their hair done there. I happen to be fortunate enough to have very nice hair and am very clear about what I do and do not want, but when the preferences of the stylist undermine my attributes, I have to speak up. Spending over $100 for something I did not want is completely unacceptable. The stylist who fixed the mess she made of my hair was shocked at what she saw - huge streaks of what appeared to be a dark ash brown - I was told it would be "not a lot of a warm dark blonde" - ash is not warm and huge streaks are not "not a lot". After about four months, my hair looks good again, but it took far too much time (and disappointment) to keep silent about it. Thank goodness for Yelp - again, exercise caution with this salon. read more

I was able to get an appointment with Alicia for this past Saturday morning (7/7/2018). As Alicia was washing my hair, I described what this previous haircut was like and what I specifically liked about it. And she did it perfectly! She replicated exactly what I liked about this previous haircut and I couldn't be happier. The whole experience, from booking the appointment to the actual haircut, was perfect. A friend recommended this salon and I finally had time for a cut. I called and got an appointment the same day. Gysel was my stylist. She really took her time asking about how I style my hair and so on. I thought I wanted a long bob, but she suggested I go a little shorter with an angled A line cut. My hair was in the middle of my back. I trusted her and I am so glad I did. The cut really looks good with my face shape. My husband had the cutest smile when he saw the cut and still compliments me on how good it looks. Gysel you are a gem! I should add I have had this cut 2 weeks and I am still in love! Came here for the first time today and got a haircut from Christina. I did have an appointment and she was ready to do my hair the minute I walked in. Totally friendly, attentive and did a fantastic job on my very curly hair! The price was great too! $40 for a wash, cut and blow dry. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Christi Jordan, owner and stylist is a miracle worker. Excellent colorist and knows exactly what matches your complexion. I never have to spend time discussing what Looks good on me. She knows exactly what needs to be done and how to make my hair look awesome. Love the products they use as well as her amazing bubbly personality I have received amazing compliments on my cut and highlights she did today. Tasha is the best. My hair got messed up by someone else at a different salon and she fixed it. It was a major color correction and it was like she read my mind because it was exactly like I pictured it. It took a long time but SO worth it. I went to get my hair colored and cut by Cristina and I absolutely love it!!! She did a great job and made sure through the entire process I liked what she was doing. She made me very comfortable especially being from Houston and not trusting just anyone in my hair. WORST hair salon I've been to. DONT go unless you plan on spending more trying to get your hair fixed at another salon. I walked in with healthy hair and walked out with dead and terrible hair color. Worst part they ganged up on me bc they didn't want to admit their mistake and had me pay after expressing how unhappy I was. So I had the WORST messed up hair, it was over processed, falling out, the ombre line was so harsh it looked like someone just scribbed on my hair, and it wasn't even on both sides! So I made an appt to fix it, the website said it would be a month before my next appt but I was able to get in the week of making an appt! I was told it would be expensive, but I was so embarrassed of my hair that I was desperate. I went to Natasha and I told her to do whatever she wanted as long as it would fix my hair and get rid of the harsh line. She put in a bond builder, gave me subtle highlights, trimmed my hair and styled it! 135$ and it looked AMAZING. I went from splotchy uneven brassy hair to a beautiful brunett. My hair felt so much healthier, and to this day it stil looks amazing. I don't regret spending so much money, it was my fault for being cheap and going to a cheap salon. I believe everyone at CA Looks is talented, but I found my hair stylist and I'm in love with Natasha, she's amazing! Please, don't make the mistake I did of being cheap and getting a cheap job, spend the money to look good. read more
