They played in my face. Showed them pictures of the type of hair cut I wanted and I honestly don't think they looked at it. They cut way to short and have me the sharpest most blunt mullet l've seen in my life when it wasn't the request. I had to cut most of the hair off to save it. Nice people but very tragic hair cut. What I still can't get over is the fact I provided multiple pictures and gave me the complete opposite. If you want a bit of hair cut off make sure you say a little little little little bit. read more

Alicia is thorough and quite good at her craft. I've gone to her for a couple cuts, wish it was more but we haven't lived here very long. I recently had her balayage my hair in preparation for my wedding and the wedding stylist was genuinely impressed with how natural it looked. The stylist was literally all up in my head and had to ask if I had had anything done or if it was the sun lightening my hair. The salon itself is kind of loud sometimes with chatty Kathys yapping about their personal business. That's just salon life for you I guess. I can deal though, Alicia's great work and attention to detail makes it worth it. Remember to tip your stylist! read more

I went to CA looks because I was visiting from out of town. I asked for a straight-edge blunt cut, and it looked fine when I left because the front looks fine. I went home and looked at the back of my hair more carefully and it looks horrible. It's completely uneven and I have choppy layers that I never had before, and the bottom of my hair doesn't even line up. Now I have to go get it re-done by my usual stylist out of the area because it looks so bad. When she saw the photos I emailed her she made space for me right away because she was so shocked. It doesn't help that the store was blasting music the entire time I was getting my hair done, which made me weary of how much they could actually be focusing. I feel bad writing this review because the woman who cut my hair was very friendly, but this cut is so bad, and now I have to pay to cut another inch off because of it, which is not okay. I would not recommend this place. My hair is straight and fine, extremely easy to cut, and it's so messed up and is costing me more to fix it. read more

If I could give Katelyn and this Salon a 10 star review, I would. She is absolutely on point when it comes to color, extensions, cut, etc. She has worked on not only myself, but my mom, my sister, and my mother in law, and she has done an amazing job every single time! I went in with my natural hair that had just some blonde highlights, and I wanted more volume and tons of length! She did such a perfect job matching my color to the extensions I purchased through her. She recommended "Yours Extensions" and they are the best type of extension I have ever experienced! I have had tape ins, clip ins, halo extensions, you name it, and none of those ever worked for me. I feel great now that I have something that is easy to take care of, and durable enough to where the extension does not show. Along with great extensions came awesome customer service. Katelyn is so personable and she gets to know you, she just makes the whole experience fun and comfortable. I had such a great experience and I'm so thankful I've found Katelyn!!! I recently moved from North Carolina to California and my hair was in desperate need of coloring and a haircut. I was fortunate enough to come across Jacqui's Instagram account and see the beautiful colors and styles she works her magic with. She provided amazing customer service even before I arrived at the salon. I texted the number listed in her IG bio and quickly got a response. Jacqui was even on vacation during our conversation and still took the time to reply to me. I know that she could have waited till she was back at work to reply but she was already going above and beyond to accommodate me. Ca Looks is located in a shopping center and I was surprised how large it is inside. I had a 9AM appointment and Jacqui greeted me at the front desk. She had already made a great first impression with me via text and was just a welcoming and friendly in person. The inside of the salon is very nice. I love that the stylist's stations have a place to hang your bag. I had sent some photos of the look I was going for and we spoke about that for a few minutes. She was very honest about what could be achieved within an appointment but also very optimistic. As a former stylist, I am very appreciative when stylist communicate realistically. I knew that I was in good hands and Jacqui's creativity would shine through on my hair. It wasn't long before the salon filled up with other stylists and their clients. The overall atmosphere of the salon was great. The noise level was minimal and I was able to have a nice conversation with Jacqui and get to know her. All of the other stylists around us seemed nice and gave the salon a relaxed yet professional vibe. Jacqui finished foiling and coloring my hair quickly and before I knew it I was done processing. She knew my concerns about brassiness so she toned my hair as well. After a relaxing shampoo and condition is was time for the haircut. I let her know what I wanted lengthwise and let her do her thing. She styled my hair with loose, beachy waves that showed off my new color beautifully. We went outside to get some photos of my hair before paying. While I paid Jacqui rebooked me for another appointment. I genuinely look forward to becoming a regular client of hers now that I'm living here. Jacqui's technical and professional skills as a stylist, combined with her awesome customer service, and genuine interpersonal skills make her someone you can enjoy being around while getting fabulous hair in the process. read more

This place is amazing. There is an endless amount of talent coming from these stylist. They continuously work on becoming better by education and keeping up with what's going on and what's in. They are able to get a sense of what you want done and do their best to achieve your wants and realistic expectations. I am so glad I come here and have yet to be disappointed. This place is supposed to be the best place in town so I went to have my hair done for my daughters wedding. What a joke!!! I specifically asked for someone who could manage my fine thin hair and told the woman who did it that I could not have any mousse in hair because the curls would just fall. But she seemed to think otherwise and used mousse anyway. I thought well, she is supposed to be the expert here so I will just let her do her thing. She dried and curled my hair with about 10 curls in my hair and put a little bit of hair spray. She told me to run my fingers through my hair in 45 minutes (the wedding was in 2 hours). I live 10 minutes away and by the time I got home my hair was flat! The curls all came out. They were quick to rush me in and out and even quicker to take my money. It was a rip off. That was the worst experience EVER at a salon! read more

I came into this salon sept 2021. The lady who did my hair absolutely damaged my hair. I do not remember her name, but she was the tallest one there (roughly 6 ft). It was my first time trying this salon. I came in looking to dye my hair because I wanted to go back to my natural brunette color with subtle lighter highlights. When she began doing my hair she used a 30 volume toner because of my hairs current state she suggested we just tone everything down to brown since it was already light. When her assistant questioned why she used a 30 volume she replied by saying "it's quicker and won't take as long". By using a 30 volume, this caused my hair to become over-processed and now I am stuck with a gummy, sticky texture towards the bottom half of my hair. This means that my hair is extremely damaged and my only option is to cut off half of my hair up to my shoulders. Going into the salon my hair was to my lower back and after leaving this salon with the hairstylist, I am left with chopping off my hair due to her completely ruining my hair. She did not get my hair to the desired result either, I am left with the bottom half looking very grey/ white & the top half looking brassy/ orange. I am very upset. I can't explain how angry I am at this hair stylist. During my appt she didn't even finish my hair, she had two other workers working on my hair because she took on another client while still in the middle of my appt. While she was applying the toner to my hair she dropped the brush onto the ground 3 times and resumed to use it on my hair without washing it or anything. I would not recommend letting her handle your hair because she guaranteed me with her ability to match my inspo pictures, but ended up damaging and over processing my hair. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HAIRSTYLIST OR SALON. read more

Christina Griffith did a great job on my haircut and blow dry. The cut itself was fairly quick. She blended the layers of my cut so they don't look so thick, but she didn't go overboard and leave me with no hair or a ton of stupid flyaways. I've been to this salon about 4 or 5 times and all of my experiences have been great except for the last two. I recently had my hair done with "tasha" and it was basically half of what I expected, my dye was coming off on my skin for days which caused the blue to fade into a green within a week. aafter I redid it with her it continued for about 2 weeks, she said it was normal but my other stylist said otherwise. I then reached out to tasha concerning a shampoo and heard no response, The blue dye has now turned green and is basically ruined. read more

When I called to book I asked for a senior stylist. The woman in the phone said she was the most experienced at the salon.....at the appointment she admitted she'd been doing hair for 1.5 years. I probably should have left at that point, but I was desperate to get my color done. Some Things I dislike- I asked for balayage but got foiled highlights. I did ask why and was told it was only in the front. Two hours later she was still adding foiled highlights! She applied the root color AFTER washing my hair. It's her own personal technique apparently ‍. She'd never heard of Aveda....like never. She did a dry cut for my whole cut. I was there 4 hours and left with my hair half curled and a comment from another employee that they don't have "magic wands". This was the most anyone had spoken to me in the time I was there as the employees were Really into each others' business. I learned all about who's been out drinking', whose spouse is a "dick", whose spouse is cheating, various weight loss regimens and even what various employees like to snack on! I saw people eating messy food with their hands and then doing people's hair.....with no hand washing in between. And the cursing from the employees! I'm no prude but the vulgarity in this work place was astonishing! Things I liked- the price was really cheap. read more
