I had the most relaxing afternoon today at Metamorphosis Salon. My appointment with Cynthia was so relaxing. She was great at listening to what I wanted and took the time to get the cut just perfect. Love, love, LOVE the cut and color Cynthia provided me today! This is my second time entrusting my hair to Cynthia and I have no doubt that I'll be getting showered with compliments on my hair like I did after my first session with her. I have Asian hair, come from a family of hair stylists, and am pretty picky about where I go to get my hair done. Used to regularly drive down to Koreatown to get my hair cut and colored by my favorite hair stylist but found it a challenge after having kids. The box dye failed on me so I went here thinking they could fix it.... jeez was that a disappointment too. I wanted a balayage type deal from Roxana. I get there and she didn't even brush out my hair first of all. Next, she putting in the brown hair color on my roots and decides to put the blonde in but not blend it out. JEEZ.. she literally tried to comb it but the comb got stuck and she tried to leave it like that. HUH? I asked her to blend it but she's like "your hair is tangled" I WONDER WHY?!?!? Lol she left a straight line in my hair where the brown and blonde met. I get ready to leave and everyone is staring at me NOTICING MY HAIR, even the hair dressers AND THEY DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING. I go back the next day hoping they can get my hair right again.. was I wrong.... Roxana literally didn't care if I walked out that salon looking good or not. She tried the second time to blend it but she couldn't and I left the hair salon the second time WITH NO ONE SAYING ANYTHING. The picture is what my hair looks like now.. I'm livid. I have never dyed my hair before so I was quite nervous and I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in everyone greeted me and sensed my nervousness they understood me when I said I don't want anything wild but I wanted to cover up my gray hair I was very pleased with the customer service with the facilities and the process for dying my hair. Decided I had to get my hair cut after a small hissy fit in the morning over not knowing what to do with my long hair. Called the salon and they had an opening in only 20 min on a Saturday. Christine cut my hair and she did a great job! It's a little shorter then the picture I showed her but since I got a good 7 inches off anything looks short to me. When she moved to Metamorphosis I was bummed because I didn't know where she was but Lemoore is small so it didn't take long to hear where she moved to. She has been cutting my hair for about 17-18 years now. She cuts my kids hairs, waxes my kids eyebrows. Cuts and styles my wife. Alma cuts and styles my moms hair. Went in for root touch-up/partial highlight. My highlights are striped. I have a huge bleach spot on the side of my head. My hairdresser did not put any product in my hair before blow drying or straightening and then on my way out told me not to yank my ponytail out anymore because THAT will cause split ends. I was there for 2 hours and I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know my name. Will not be going back. read more
